In a further endevour to gain conversation among here, what book do you really feel like defines us? Explain it to me. Especially Twilight, glittery vampires, honestly. Anyways, let's get talking!

I like the fantasy portrayals. Not one book, but more of an amalgam or compilation. I don't see all vampires as human with slightly feral features. I've seen some vampires look more like demonic creatures. More like in the Constantine Novels, I think. Though, Anne Rice is pretty good.

I'm planning on reading the Constantine novels this year. Anne Rice, I can understand, she has an interesting prespective on the undead. Salems' Lot by Stephen King, I rather enjoyed.

True enough. He always has an interesting take on the undead. Pet Cemetery?

Vampire Diaries was alright. I just finished it yesterday. It wasn't as dark as I has hoped for though. Oh and do tell me how Pet Cemetery goes, I've been debating with myself on whether or not to read that one for a while now. =]

Pet Sementary, actually. And I would recommend it, a rather frightening piece of his. I have yet to pick up the Diaries, are they worth the read?

Right. Sementary. =p I'll have to read that now. And no, they probably aren't, especially if you plan to waste money on them. But I dunno, everyone has their own opinions so maybe so..

Eh, they've never held serious appeal to me. And I would recommend King overall, most of his books are good .

Yes, but a few are.... Well.... We'll not go over those ones! Pet Cemetery was good. I liked the daughter. She's sort of a sooth sayer.

A shame about his death, however...

Hence the liked, instead like. It happens however. King has a habit of killing off characters I liked.

Me too. Though, I liked the main character from "It". His struggle to reawaken his wife was worthy of a Greek Tragedy.
