1. Stitch has stated that the band is ever-changing and that the band never fails to try something new in each record they put out.
2. Stitch is very fond of Industrial music. He knows a lot about its history and such. The band Pigface has even offered VentanA to play a show with them at one time.
3. Aside from the obvious Slipknot comparisons, Mushroomhead can also be likened to the band Faith No More. Mostly because of the apparent influence on the keyboards and some of Jeff and JManns vocal styles can sometimes remind people of Mike Patton. The band has credited Mr. Bungle and Faith No More as their main influences and the band even made Waylon listen to them when he first joined.
4. Waylon once said hed try to bring a little bit of everything from 3 Quarters Dead to the new Mushroomhead. He also stated in an interview that his style is a good combination of an angry screamer and of a depressed singer and that he doesnt just write about good or evil but both and that he likes to write songs that tell a story.
5. Waylon is considered one of the best vocalists in the state of North Carolina.
6. Waylons influences are Black Sabbath, Mushroomhead, Slayer, old Sepultra and Fear Factory.
7. Jeffrey Nothing got the idea for his name from the movie Blue Velvet, JMann got his face paint idea from the movie Dead Presidents, Waylon got his face paint idea from the movie The Cell and Bronson got the idea for his name from the movie Street Trash.
8. Waylon once said that Shmotz piano playing isnt just sound but it is amazing fingerwork on his part.
9. Skinny has stated that the album Savior Sorrow has brutal songs with the likes of Lamb of God and Hatrix. Jeffrey Nothing has even stated that some of the new Mushroomhead actually has some new Hatrix ideas in it too.
10. Waylon once stated that he understands the band is a group effort and that with 7 creative minds they can come up with something different all the time. Hes also stated that Mushroomheads style is beyond classification of music and that they are sorta like a new age Pink Floyd.
11. It has been stated that Waylon has about 4 or 5 different voices. Skinny once described Waylon as a human sampler and Stitch once said that Waylon can scream like Dani Filth and JMann, and sing like Maynard James Keenan.
12. Jeffrey Nothing has stated that the lyrics are written differently now because Waylon and himself write together all the time. They coach each other and come up with melodies together. Both have stated that it is a pleasure to work with each other and Waylon considers Jeffrey Nothing an amazing songwriter.
13. Jeffrey Nothing once stated in an interview for Clevelands radio station, WMMS that the band gets ideas for lyrics from depression and nightmares. Jeffrey has also stated marijuana helps a lot too. Lyrically they are trying to get messages out that people can relate to everyday, it isnt just come on get up, get up and jump, jump, jump but that they also strive to come up with interesting lyrics people can relate to everyday.
14. It was actually JManns idea for Waylon to be in the band. After he made the decision to part ways with the band he recommended the band to contact Waylon and see if he would do the job. JMann has also stated in an interview for Domain Cleveland that he chose Waylon because he felt that he understood Mushroomhead and can open new doors for them.
15. Stitch once said that Gravy can play like Malmsteem on his spare time and that people sometimes stop doing what theyre doing watch him play because hes that good.
16. Jeffrey Nothing has stated that JMann and himself never really wrote together throughout the years he was in the band. They would just write their stuff on their own personal time and then just put their parts together when they got into the studio. Jeff says the only song they sorta wrote together was Solitaire Unraveling.
17. Mushroomhead consider themselves a visual band. They like to make music that sends images to peoples minds.
18. The band is usually easily approachable before, during and even after their concerts. People have stated that some of the members walk around unmasked during the opening bands.
19. The band always like to remain positive no matter how many problems come their way. The Universal split, JMann and Bronsons departure has never slowed the band.
20. 3 members of the band visit the official message boards daily and even post once in awhile.
21. Mushroomhead shows have been considered one of the best by many, even people who arent into their music have enjoyed Mushroomhead concerts.
22. The band strongly believe that profanity should be used to a minimum. They believe people can get more positive things from lyrics without the profanity.

24. The band are big fans of Star Wars.
25. The band originally started as a side project but soon became more than just a side project and soon their main bands became side projects.
26. Some members of the band have stated that Mushroomhead actually formed as a joke and find it funny but yet are very proud that they have made it this far.
27. The band once played in Montreal on Sept. 2003 and got a pretty bad reaction but they still played as if they were playing in front of their biggest fans.
