In order to attempt to build conversation...
Whose a musician, or what's a song that sounds like true vampirisim to you?
Let's see creativity aside from Marilyn Manson, people.

See, I would never have him enter my mind in regards to Gothic music... I'd have to say... Lorena McKennet

Well, since many see him as such, I didn't want to get into that arguement. I'll have to look that artist up. The name seems familiar.

Very true! She's mostly celtic, but has a nice gothic air about her.

My mother has a song of hers. Dante's Prayer. It's awesome. Sarah Brightman is a soft elegant gothic.

Very true. My father-in-law loves her. Saw her live once, I think.... *goes to ask* Yeah, he saw her once. He also has a DVD of her concert. Pretty good.

That's cool, I don't go to many live concerts.

Neither do I. The last one I went to was Starry Night in The Garden. It's headliner was Vanessa Carlton. Somewhat of a goth, but mostly motown-ish.

Cool. You're likely closer to concert areas though, the nearest one for me is 30 minutes away.

I have never been to a concert. Much too noisy for me. Theatres Des Vampires is a pretty good gothic/vampiric band. One of my favorites.

Nor have I. I'll look into it. Well, I have Darien Lake, and HSB Arena close to me. They generally have good shows.

I've only ever been to two concerts, however. Think me not a show goer! lol

I might eventually start attending more, but sadly, my favroite bands don't always sound good in person.
