How did my initial jump kick miss, but the tail whip didn't?????

They're two different attacks. And you generated wrong for the tail whip anyway. You have to roll for the tail whip before you attack.

You can, just make sure you dice roll for both. You can do extra dice rolls in here.

now I'm lost..So you're saying, that with after every attack I have to roll the dice so I know what my limits are for the next attack??

"To determine whether or not your attack hits or misses you must generate a random number from 1 to the power of your attack. If the number generated is above the halfway amount then the attack hits. If it falls under it then it misses."
