After Charname took the Throne of Bhaal, peace once again came to the Sword Coast. But after a normal lifespan, Charname died. For he did not entirely receive his promised god like rank. The Lord of Murder.

However, sometime before his death, an oracle gave a prophesy. The Lord of Murder shall perish again, but in his doom he shall spawn a score of mortal progeny, chaos will be sown by their passage. And the prophesy become partially true, so far. Charname did spawn several offspring, but a wake of chaos did not ensue. Yet trouble is brewing in Amn, once again. The streets are no longer safe at night, and every so often, a warband of goblinoids attack the city. The city council has decided to lock the city down, and trap every one in it, to ensure safety.

The Bhaalspawn are rousing. It is their time, again, to take the throne of Bhaal, and finally choose the true heir of Bhaal.

((Sorry if I'm breaking any rules, as stated in the Fantasy RP bulletin. But hey, I had great idea pop into my head, and I couldn't pass the moment up))

Okay, so this is set in a Dungeons and Dragons like setting. All AD&D classes go here. You people are the Bhaal spawn, and you get to choose among yourselves (diplomatically or by death) who takes the Throne of Bhaal and becomes the next Lord of Murder.
If you don't know anything about Dungeons and Dragons, just follow the profile skeleton, rules, and RP like you would normally do a fantasy like RP.

Profile Skeleton:
Gaia name:
Character Name:
Character Class(es):

Race: (there is a list of races, and I will give them. Human, Elf, Half-Elf, Halfling (hobbit), Dwarf, Gnome, Drow (Dark elf), Svirfneblin (deep gnome), Duergar (Deep Dwarf), Half-Dragon, and Planetouched (Tieflings, Aasimar, Fey'ri, etc), etc. Basically humanoids)
(Each race has a bonus and minus, so play it into your character:
Human: No minuses. A bonus, they are the most versatile of beings and can achieve anything in any class, and receive a slight extra ability. They are the only race that can access the powers of the mind, besides the Planet-Touched.

Elf: They can see in the dark, are immune to mental magic, are light footed, and fair. As a minus, they are weak, physically, and do not have a high constitution. They can be knocked down easily and can't take that much damage to their bodies.

Half-elf: Half-elves can see in the dark, and are slightly light footed. As a minus, they are weak, physically, and have a slightly lower constitution. They are also like their human parents and versatile too.

Hobbit: Hobbits are half the size of an average human. But, in being so, they are light footed and are harder to hit. As a minus, they can't run very fast.

Dwarf: Dwarves are 1-1.5 feet shorter than humans, but heavier. But, in being so, they slower and plenty louder. They just can't be quiet. As a bonus, they are stronger, and have a higher constitution.

Gnomes: Gnomes are quite like hobbits, but are taller. They are shorter than a Dwarf as well, but not as stocky as a dwarf, or as light as a hobbit. Gnomes are almost like short humans, except they are faster, but have a lower constitution.

Dark Elves, Deep Gnomes, and Deep Dwarves are like their surface kin, but have a darker skin colour.

Half-Dragons: Half-Dragons are abominations. They are the surviving magical experiments of a dragon attempting to create sentient life.
They are stronger than humans and more resilient to physical attacks and abjuration magic. Half-Dragons each posses on extra physical ability, besides the skin, like a dragon. Such as flight from wings, a slight breath weapon, fangs, and retractable claws and talons, or a tail as a side bonus if anyone wants one. As a minus, they are completely rejected from society, and are slightly cumbersome.

Planetouched: Planettouched are descendants of a fiendish or celestial being. Fiendish descendants have two major demonic traits. Horns and a tail/hooved feet/slight fangs and claws. If seen with these traits showing, people will attempt to kill you. And sometimes, succeed.
Celestial descendants have two major celestial traits. A halo and extremely abnormal coloured skin (such as lime green, aqua marine blue, etc)
A planet touched person can have one bonus magic like ability. But as a minus, one of the seven deadly sins is amplified, tenfold, on them.
Okay, we're done with the races. Phew, that only took an hour and 15ish minutes))

Abilities: (You can have only TWO common special abilities, because you are Bhaalspawn, or one major ability)

Weapons: (You may have 4 magical weapons/armour, or two extremely powerful weapons/armour. If you are a magic user, you may have only ONE magical item, as likewise a psion. You can have 6 regular weapons, such as a long sword, katana, kukhri, magical components ((unlimited, but exceptions apply. See weapons)), unlimited PSPs ((exceptions apply, see weapons)), short sword, spear, a long bow, arrows, etc.

Gaia name: Lanfaer
Character Name: Kello Torranna
Character Class(es): Fighter
Race: Half Dragon (Has a tail that he can manipulate at will. It has transparent scales on it, and is tan in color. Also has a small Fire breath weapon)
Abilities: Extroardinary Strength (that of a Fire Giant)
Weapons:
1) Harbinger Kin +5 (A greatsword that, 3x day casts a fireball from the blade up to 200 ft away, and hastes the wielder)
2) Longsword, Battle axe, Comp Longbow (40 Arrows), Bladed Gauntlets, and a shortsword
Armor: Titan Plate +5 (Grants the wearer immune to mental charms, as well as being made of Adamantium, and lets the wearer become ethereal 2x day for 30 seconds each)
Bio: Having grown up with his younger brother (who is not blood related), Kello was always taunted by the other children. His tail, which always showed how unusual he was, caused him many a problem. His strength had always been great, but at the age of 18, it really showed. Quickly joining the militia, he became a Colonal in the Kings Army. But, after years of training, it was discovered that he was a Bhaalspawn, and was almost executed until a young man by the name of Heiji came calling. He was a Mage, trained in the Arcane Arts, and helped Kello escape. Afterwards, it was found that Kello's brother had been the one to turn Kello in, and had been killed afterwards. Now, with Heiji, Kello travels the countryside, looking for adventure.
Personality: Kind, almost Paladin-like in his manner. He always seeks to help those in need, even going out of his way to do so.
Other crappages we may need to know: On Kello's right arm, down the entire length, is a birthmark. It is made up of long blue lines, and at the wrist they become small vines and leaves that stretch to his fingertips. His hair is also braided into long red strands, which sometimes hang in front of his face. He is also about 11 and a half feet tall.

Gaia name: Lanfaer
Character Name: Heiji
Character Class(es): Wizard
Race: Elf (Moon Elf, with Dark Skin and Blue Eyes)
Abilities: Can summon and Control Ice At Will
Weapons:
1) Quarterstaff, Sling, Dagger, Lightstone (just glows like a torch)
2) Belt of Many Pockets (A Bag of Endless Holding that is spread among many pouches, of which only 6 pouches can be seen)
Armor: Gray Cloak
Bio: Having been born a frail child (more so than a normal elf), Heiji was never a fighter. He quickly turned to the Arcane Arts as a child. After the attack on his home by orcs, his mother was taken, and his father murdered. He was found by a young human mage who, seeing the talent in the boy, took him into his home and tought him the Art. After many years, Heiji left to Court, where he was well known for his intelligence and kindness. After many years there, he one day heard of a Bhaalspawn in the Capital, and he automatically assumed the worst, for he had long known what he was. However, he found it was another man, a huge Half-Dragon, that had been caught, and they had ordered his execution. Slipping into the prison at night, he broke Kello free, and they have been travelling ever since. Secretly, however, Heiji is still looking for his mother.
Personality: Kind, gracious, polite, and calm. His trust is difficult to gain entirely, but he is fiercly loyal to those who would harm his friends. While not entirely Selfless, for he had learned that there is usually more to something than first meets the eye while in court, he will still help those who ask.
Other crappages we may need to know: Heiji is very frail. Too much action causes him to begin a caughing fit, sometimes causing him to begin spitting up blood, depending on how hard he pushes himself. After too many spells, he sometimes collapses in exaustion. For this reason, his giant friend Kello carries him when they are travelling on foot. He is around four feet tall. (they can be that big, yes, just not under 4 ft)

((Sorry for the double post, but this just looks nicer, than a huge "thread open" thingy in my post))

Looking back Serath sighed. This was his last day at the abbey, as well as a test given to him by his head monk, to see how well he would do in the real world.
Shrugging, Serath faced the direction he needed to go and walked down the small tunnel into the tomb like entrance that had apparently never been entered in over half a century. Except the past week where two monks scouted the area, to see if there wasn't anything that might kill Serath.

Oh, and to boot, it was on an island in the middle of nowhere. Just a few clicks off the sword coast; about two leagues south of Baldur's Gate. Except no one had managed to access the island, due to a dangerous reef that had a dead area surrounding it. Preventing any magical travel to the place.

Then again, this WAS a tomb that no one had entered for a few hundred years. And the monks hadn't pulled any lovelies out of it. So he might find something special in there. Besides that of which he was supposed to look for. So hiking up his pack he marched in and brushed a few cobwebs off the side, only to hear a screech from deeper within.

Striding the streets of the Slums district in Athkalta, Kello sighed. With each step he took, the clank of his adamantine armor was loud. Passerby's stared at his enormous, eleven foot frame with his blade, the Harbinger, slung across his back. Or maybe it was the small elven man riding on his shoulder. Or, perhaps, it was the long, serpentine tan skinned tale that twitched out from behind him. his own tail. He sighed as another cat decided that it'd be fun to attack the tail, and he growled, scaring the cat away.

Heiji chuckled at the scernerio. He didn't really care too much about the stares. His blue eyes glinted out from beneath his gray cloak as he watched the commoners walk by. He noticed a theif attempt to steal from Kello, and with a word, zapped the poor thief. With a yelp, the youngster ran away into the crowds. Kello chuckled.

After a while, the odd pair stepped into the Copper Coronet. Silent, incredulous stares met their entrance, obviously never having seen such a big man that didn't have an ounce of giant blood in him. Kello's grey eyes were lit with an inner radiance, and his blue and black armor attracted many a gaze for the sign of Tyr rested on the breastplate. Many thought him a paladin, but Heiji knew that Kello was no paladin, though he sometimes acted like one.

The barkeep came over, and Heiji, who always did the talking in places like this, asked for a room for the night. The barkeep nodded, and Heiji payed him in gold. The pair sat at one of the larger tables, and scanned the room. Kello spoke first, which was uncharacteristic of him. It spoke of his worriness for him to do so. "Heiji. What are we here for?" His voice was deep, seeming to rumble up from his toes to echo out through his throat.

Heiji smiled kindly, and replied, his voice a lovely chime, like that of the others of his race. However, his voice was slightly raspy, a difference from the other Moon Elves. "Kello, we are here to help these people with the invasion from the goblinoids. You know that."

Kello sighed. "I apologize, my friend. It simply seems strange to be back here after so long." For, you see, this was where he had once found the Harbinger. And with it, the wizard master of it.

Heiji nodded. "Just keep a low profile, my large friend, and we'll be okay."

Kello nodded, his stony, tan features revealing nothing of his inner thoughts.

Cringing at the sound, Serath gladly thanked his psionic wards against magical and sonic forces.
It also didn't make any sense, why was a banshee on a forgotten isle? And why, especially why, would it be screaming when it wasn't aware of his presence?
Cautiously shrugging off the after effects of the scream, Serath skulked further into the temple.
Focusing, he activated a psionic spell that would allow him to identify magical, astral, ethereal, and living entities.
Pushing forwards, he came into a small antechamber like room, and spotted a tall hominid sulking in the far corner.
With his enhanced vision, he recognized the creature to be a troll.
"Great," Serath thought, "My lucky day; trolls and a banshee."

Kello grumbled as he saw the door to some back rooms. He took in the appearence of the guard, what he was wearing, his armaments, and so forth. He and Heiji had been there an hour, and he noticed that the guard never left his post, and that every so often, after speaking with the owner, would go into the back room. He wasn't sure what exactly was going on, but his insticts informed Kello that it wasn't good. And he always trusted his instincts.

Heiji, on the other hand, had been sipping at a concoction of his, a mix of water with a blend of herbs. They calmed his fits of coughing, staving them off for a while. He grimaced at the taste, but was too used to it to complain. His pointed ears twitched as his hearing, greater than that of his giant companion, caught the sound of a female scream. He glanced in the direction it came from, and saw that it was the same door that Kello had been watching. Shifting slightly, his gray cloak rustling quietly. He tapped Kello's arm discreatly. "Kello. I just heard a scream from back there. A woman."

Kello's grey eyes glinted, and his tail lashed from side to side violently. "Shall we discover what is going on?" He had always saught to end cruelty where he saw it, and right then, he was sure that someone was hurting another in the back room. It might now sound like much sense to others, but to him, it was clear.

Heiji nodded. "I believe the owner is in on it. I'll go see what I can come up with." Sliding off his chair, he rested a hand on his friend's knee. "Be calm, Kello. We must not jump into things while we are here. We don't know the whole story."

Kello nodded his great shaggy head discreetly. He didn't like letting Heiji ask the questions alone.

Heiji smiled at him, and then turned, striding over to thw owner, a tall human dressed in leathers, and obviously having been a pirate at one point or another. "Sir. I'd like to ask you what kind of..... entertainment..... do you supply here?"

The man eyed him suspiciously. "Depends. What are you interested in?" He crossed his arms, a grimace marring his features.

Heiji, nonplussed, patted his belt pouch. A heavy jingle issued forth, and the man's eyes gleamed. "Enough."

The owner nodded. "For a hundred gold, you can get into the back." He held out his hand, waiting.

Heiji reached into the pouch, wich held about fifty platinum in it. Taking out ten, he closed the bag. As he pulled his hand out, he muttered a muted sylable, and with a rubbing gesture, placed a hidden Arcane Mark on each of the coins, so he could scry on them later if he so wished. He then handed over the coins.

Stashing the coins away with a shifty look around the inn, he handed Heiji a token made of wood. It seemed a simple wooden circle. "Give this to the guard at the door, and you'll be let in." He winked at Heiji, and smirked cruelly. "Have fun."

Heiji, surpressing a shiver, walked brisquely back to Kello, and gestured for him to come. He continued over to the guard, and held up the token. "Here. We have paid."

The guard, a patch over his left eyes, scowled and took the token, stashing it in his pocket. "All right. In you go." Opening the door wide, he stepped to the side in order to let the giant Kello in. The guard eyed Kello's tail with horror, but wisely kept his mouth shut.

As the door was shut behind them, Kello's eyes widened, and he swore quietly.

Slightly annoyed, Serath looked at the troll bodies. Apparently there had been more than he had seen from glancing. Lurking in other dark spots, waiting to ambush him. Still, he had eliminated them without much effort.
But it still didn't make sense, how could they have known he was there, and why would they ambush him?

Looting them, he found nothing much. Save for an intricate key. Pocketing it, he assumed it might lead to other treasures, or some fun. Either way, it must have been important, else why would a troll carry it around?

Shrugging, Serath decided to do this the hard way. Juggernaut style.
Moving his hands down his body, he started another psionic spell. But one to absorb almost all forms of energy directed at the caster, store them, and be able to manipulate those energies.

Moving forwards, he crept around a corner and almost ran face to face with a strange person, holding a sword. Well, not quite. It was to the guy's back.
Cursing silently, Serath recognized the man. It was a blackguard. A hired mercenary.
Putting the pieces together, Serath knew what was happening. His test was really a race against time to uncover an artifact. And most likely a dangerously guarded one.

Rushing forwards, Serath kicked the man off the small ledge he was standing in front of.
Looking down, Serath realized the mistake he just made. Several dozens of blackguard faces looked back up at him.

Kello and Heiji looked down upon two rooms from what seemed to be a balcony. One room, to their right, was a prostitution room. Sex slaves were gagged and being raped by many a noble, some even with their own wive's with them, watching. Guards stood around the room, some even touching themselves at the display. Kello's muscles twitched, and his eyes blazed gold, his dragon blood growing stronger. Heiji's gaze, however, was upon the second room. An arena of sorts, there were fighting pits, with slaves butchering each other down there. He noticed a few mages as well, and smirked. But his anger was enflamed as well.

Kello growled. "Heiji! We must stop this injustice!" His passion for justice had been awakened, and Heiji knew there was no stopping him now. He decided what would be done immediately.

Heiji turned to Kello, and touched his side. "Kello. Take the whore room. I'll deal with the others, and let the slaves free. Meet me in the arena as fast as you can."

Kello nodded, cracking the knuckles of a hand that could easily encompass a human's head entirely. He moved fluidly towards the whore room, his armor making soft clanking noises as he stepped.

Entering the room silently, Kello surveyed the scene before him. The display of such violent lust shot renewed fury throughout his body. Stepping towards one of the guards closest to him, one of those gleefully grabbing himself to the lewd show before him, Kello raised a fist, and brought it down heavily upon the guard's head, shattering his skull, and dropping the guard instantly, blood spraying from his mouth, nose, ears, and eyes as his entire skull was smashed into a fleshy ball.

The other guards turned, anger, and then fear filled their eyes as they saw the giant creature before them. They all drew their weapons, some hurriedly drawing their pants up before doing so. Kello stepped forward menacingly, the low light bathing the room in twilight causing him to resemble a warrior celestial, out for bloody justice.

____________________________________________________________

Heiji, meanwhile, slipped into the corridor where the doors to the cells in which the slaves were kept were, leaving the dessicated corpse of a guard behind him (Dessicated means that his fluids were drained out of him). Shutting the door quietly, Heiji slid over to one of the many doors, and began to chant quietly. The words echoed in the air, as iff being said in a great, empty hall, and the air shimmered before him. With a quick, imperious gesture, he cast the spell, saying the final word. All of the doors clicked, and they all squng open.

After a moment, a man put out his head. Spying Heiji, he tensed, ready to yell. Heiji placed a finger to his lips, and spoke another word. His voice came to the man, and only to him. "I am here to set you all free. Tell the others, and we can make our escape."

Just as he finished, another guard came around the corner. Spotting the open cells, he reached for a whistle at his throat, terror plane on his face. But he suddenly froze, his eyes bulging, and started to choak silently. Ice spread up his body, slowing the blood in his veins, and numbing the body, In moments, he was frozen solid, dead.

The slave looked at Heiji, not in terror, as he had suspected, but in fascination. Heiji nodded, showing that it had been him who had done it, and the slave grinned. Gesturing, the other slaves came out quietly, and all bore the same evil grins. Revenge was what they wanted. And Heiji had just given them the ability to get it.
