[Parish Pub] Theme Song=One Danger Put Behind Us from Final Fantasy IX Parish Pub The Parish Pub is of course named after it's owners, the Parish's. Jack Parish, Maggie Parish, and their daughter Lydia Parish. Other people work there as well, but those are the main people. It lies within the Keihera Village. Inside the Parish pub, is of course a bar, and an inn as well. Maggie is always at the front counter giving people their rooms, Lydia is the waitress for their mini-restaraunt, and Jack is the bartendar behind the bar. Here, citizens can have some food, have a drink, stay the night, or play some games such as pool or even try their luck at the one slot machine that they own. NPC: Jack, Maggie, and Lydia Parish Who lives here? Some people own permanent rooms inside the Inn, others just stay for a night or two. The Parish's live there permanently of course. So far... Kane [Overlord_Kane] is currently working behind the bar. Terra [Kitiara713] is at the counter across from him.

(Seeing he lives here, might as well make him a bartender so he can pay his rent.)
Kane sighed seeing tomorrow they had a show going on some comedy and stuff like that, but the horrible part was the got way too many customers those nights and never let him relax. He guessed he would have to enjoy today as much as he could, he served up a drink to a paying customer and drank his own drink. He mumbled to himself, "Hmm... an elf like me serving drinks, god I will never understand other races." He glanced around the bar like always seeing if anyone he knew was around.

[[That's fine. I did say there were other workers here as well.]] Terra walked inside the Parish Pub and sighed a little. The little bell at the top of the door jingled a bit when it opened. Closing the door, she looked around to see if she knew anyone. Who was she kidding? Nobody ever talked to her. Maybe that was her fault. Terra was never the one to have a conversation with anyone, let alone be friends. She's not even sure if anyone in the town would recognize her. Either that, or they just think she's the crazy girl down the street. She sat at the bar across from a bartender that she's seen around here before. Terra wasn't in the mood for much but she decided to have a little something. "Can I have a glass of milk?" She asked. Of course, it was expected that a girl like Terra would favor milk over anything else.

Kane nodded and said, "Right, Milk... Here, guessing you can pay for it right?" He gave her a glass filled with milk, he hadn't really payed attention to her yet seeing he was a bit exhausted at the thought of tomorrow.

Terra took the milk and put 5 gold pieces onto the counter. She was assuming that the milk was about 1 or 2. He needed the money more than she did. She rarely ever bought anything. Mostly she drank milk and ate little tiny stuff. After all, she did have the stomach of a cat. So she didn't eat much. Terra had inherited the fortune that Sidney had, which turned out to be a heck of a lot. Apparently, she had turned lots of people into money in her past life. Surprise, Surprise. "Keep the change." Terra told him as she started to drink her milk. He looked exhausted; she felt really sorry for him. Terra didn't work, and can't say she knew how he felt.

Kane nodded and said, "Thank you.... I will with pleasure." He didn't have a money problem, just problems that were... odd like the exhaustion day of tomorrow. He sighed looking at the poster to his right showing there was one tomorrow....

She finished her milk quite fast and set the glass down on the table. The guy was looking at a poster to his right which she just now started to look at. Some kind of show with a commedian possibly. Terra was never interested in those type of things. She smiled a bit, realizing she felt even more sorry for the workers that were working tomorrow. More than likely, many people were going to come to the show. Terra wouldn't be able to stand it. "Busy day tomorrow, huh?" She asked him.

He nodded and said, "Yes... much to busy of a day, thats only reason I am so exhausted... because I am thinking of it. Hmm I wonder if I can pull off not going here for work tomorrow..." He pondered how and what he would do if he didn't now.

Terra raised her eyebrows a bit, wondering if he was talking to himself or to her. She had never had a job so she had no excuse's up her sleeve. Shrugging, she started licking her hand and rubbing it onto her hair. It may seem a bit weird but she WAS born a cat. Therefore, her cat habits are bound to stay with her. Plus half the time, she didn't realize she was doing it. A guy sitting a couple seats away from her was staring at her weirdly. That's when she just started to realize that she was doing it. Frowning a bit, she hissed at him, her teeth showing at him. The man widened his eyes, clearly annoyed, and left the bar. "Yeah, that's it. Run away." She said outloud to herself, also annoyed.

Kane laughed a bit and said, "Well now... seems someone dislikes being afraid of. You know... it ain't all that great having people like you, sometimes them not bothering you at all is the sweetest relief ever." He poured himself a drink in a shot glass and drank it right away. He really needed a vacation he thought in his head at least. It was kinda funny he met someone who was also had people afraid of them and was kinda pissed about it. The Light Elf rumor about him disappeared about when he was 300, so no one knew right now.

Terra squinted a bit. She didn't quite understand what he meant. As far as she was concerned, that man was not afraid of her, just annoyed. But Terra never thougth herself to be anything of a scary figure. Who would be frightened of a cat? Honestly. Were they that pathetic? But, she supposed, that her purple magic could scare them off. She could torture their minds if she really wanted to, but she felt no need to. It wasn't that special of a gift. She rarely used it. Half the time there was nothing worth predicting in her future, and she didn't have any revenge on anybody to make them go mentally insane. "I guess I see what you mean. People can be so annoying at times. I'd rather live without them." She sighed, looking into her glass and then at all the people sitting around her. "Yet here I am."

Kane nodded and said, "Thats why you are here isn't it? Living is a chore, but we do it for some odd reason. I live to show people my kind isn't pathetic anymore thats all its small, but good enough." He smiled kinda at her now.

She looked over him, noticing he had some wings. Maybe he was some kind of angel. She wasn't honestly that curious. There were thousands of different kinds of people here. All you had to do was look. There'd be half-breeds, vampires, werewolves, elves, angels, mages, pretty much anything. Terra didn't much care. She didn't look on the outside. Not really. Well, she wouldn't judge them. For she hates it when people judge her. Her ex-owners judged her to be a death signal, that's why she's where she is now. "That's good. At least you belong somewhere. I don't really belong anywhere." For the longest time, Terra hasn't fit in anywhere. She doesn't fit in with cats, humans, or mages. Because she's always 1/3 of those. She's part human and cat, with a touch of magic. Was that so bad? And it wasn't exactly her fault. None of it really was. Yet, people make first impressions that can't ever be taken back and...before you know it, you're some idiotic outsider.

Kane thought about it and said, "That rather sad, you shouldn't be so mean to yourself at least find something that is good in your life. Doesn't matter too much my whole kind died anyways, about.... 500 years or something... kinda sad there isn't even any ruins or such left behind." He filled her glass again free fo charge.

Terra frowned a bit. She'd heard of that race before but couldn't quite think of it. There were thousands of breeds that have died over the past generations. Extinct, you could call it. Terra wasn't really a breed. She was one of a kind, and was glad. "Thanks." She said as he filled up her glass. "So what's good in your life?" Terra asked him before she took a gulp of her milk. After all, he told her to find something good in her life. He should have something as well. Terra didn't really know what was good in her life. Money didn't really matter to her, and she had no brothers or sisters. Well...ones she could talk to or even see. All cats look the same to her now. She was quite lonely but didn't exactly mind it. I guess that's a good thing in her life. Independance.
