[Betty Bay] In need of a theme song Any suggestions for a song? Betty Bay
Betty Bay is the shore next to the Betty Sea. It was named after a legendary mermaid someone thought they saw a long time ago. No one really knows for sure if mermaids lie inside the Betty Sea. But we do know that Betty Bay is a great place for a picnic. There are rocks that lead out to the sea to walk on and there is a dock at the entrance to fish if one so wishes.
NPC: Betty the Mermaid Who lives here?Mermaids are said to live in the Betty Sea. Some people live in tiny huts on Betty Bay. So far...

The sun hit the waters of Betty Bay, throwing up sparkles that danced against the rocks as the waves moved. Farther out in the water was a teen girl, swimming and for what everyone else thought, alone. In reality she was in the middle of a conversation. Hey, we saw strange waves in that direction last week, she's gotta be there!
No you dummy, it's way too shallow, why on earth would she be that close to shore?? This argument was one of the mildest Katie and Kana had ever had with each other, and both personalities were happy at the moment. The argument featured the Betty Bay mermaid, which Katie and Kana had been chasing since they first moved there a few years ago. It wasn't an obsessive search, but it did help pass the time. Finally getting out of the water, Katie climbed onto a high rock that faced the warm sunlight and laid out to dry, eventually drifting off to sleep. Ahh, this is the life.

Kalei had let her hair down and hed changed into her swimsuit. She started to wade in and noticed like all the other times she gets near water that it surges towards her and act very strange. " What will it do this time"she said atloud. She dived into the water, refreshed by the cold water hitting her face. ' I wish Tyner was here, he always knew what to say' she thought coming upfor air.

A nearby splash woke Katie with a start. Problem was that when the girl woke up, it was whichever personality was fastest gained control, so it was Kana who woke up. "Ugggh, wawuzzat?"she groaned sleepily, eyes adjusting to the light. Wait a second, I'm out! It was her first time gaining control in two weeks, since Katie had been fully on guard lately. "Wahoo!" Kana shouted excitedly, jumping in the air and accidentally landing in the water."Hack, blah...." she choked while spitting out lake water. That was intelligent.... Up ahead, she could see another person in the water. I didn't know others lived here. she thought, attempting to swim over. "Hi!"

Kalei was startled when she heard another voice behind her. She grabed at her knife that was in it's seath on her leg. She didn't remove it, but just to be on the safe side. She turned around and saw another girl. " Um, hi" she replied letting her grip fade off her blade. " I didn't know anyone was out here besides me" she said showing off a warm smile.

Kana smiled in return. "Ditto. We-er, I've lived here for a few years and never seen anyone else. Have you been here long?" she motioned with her arms at the Bay, and succeeded in almost drowning herself. Resurfacing, she looked at the other girl sheepishly. "oops."

Kalei couldn't help but laugh, she covered her mouth even though it didn't help. " I am sorry... I haved lived here for about the same time you have. I just travel back and forth between here and the the village. Maybe that's why." she said regaining herself. " Anyways my name is Kalei"

Flushing, Kana replied "Good to meet ya, Kalei, my name's Kan-I mean Katie." Ugh, that was stupid. This is Katie's body anyways so might as well use her name.... "Hey, ummm, swimming as you can tell isn't my best thing, so I'm gonna head for shore. Do you want to come?"

What about three?..... Katie's unusually sarcastic voice echoed in Kana's head.

Kalei smiled and jumped on the offer, " You would do that. That would be fantasic" she said. She reached for her shorts and tank top, "He is very skilled in evading me. It might take awhile" she said "Is that still okay" she added.
