Jack wasn't sure how he'd gotten here, but he knew the reason why. This kid Drasel had challenged his power. Well, he'd show him not to mess with the Spirit of Halloween Music. Jack o' Lantern had nothing on him...okay maybe he did, but that was besides the point.
"So where is he?" Jack called out as he awaited his opponents appearance.
"Calm down!" came a new voice.
Turning around at the new voice, Jack saw standing before him Christmas Carol...his wife.
"Whaddya mean calm down. HE started it!"
"I watched your conversation. And although I don't remember all of it, I'm pretty sure you had a hand in starting this."
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
"Whatever."
Despite her husband's idiocy she walked over to him and entwined her arm his, she snuggled against him as they waited for Drasel.

As his cloaking device wore off, Drasel appeared suddenly in the areana. Though it had not the height of an elite, it still walked proudly, and in it's stride was a limp.
It looked at it's wounded foot. It did not boast it well for this kind of injury to occur only hours before the fight, but it had no part in any of accident
"Why did Seine have to show her excitement. She just had to trip me. "Drasel shakes it's head as it lowers it muscular body to the ground cautiosly. Once there, it began to massage it's injured knee.

Hearing the voice, Kimba looked over to see his opponent massaging his leg. He and Carol then walked over to the crouched alien.
"Are you alright?" Jack asked.
"If not, I'm a very good healer." Carol offered.

Noticing it's oppenent was now close and asking about it's good health, Drasel smiled in the only way he could.
'Just tripped is all. Nothing but a sprain. It will feel better once I stretch a bit' Drasel's eerie symphony of voices that responded rather cheerfully despite their mysterious orgin

Though Jack was used to it by now, Carol cocked her head and raised her eyebrow upon hearing Drasel speak.
"That's odd, he sound's like the—"
"Black Christmas Chorus. Yeah, I know. I said the same thing."
"Well in anycase, are you sure you don't want me to heal it?"

Drasel shook it's head as it preformed a sprinters stretch and many other stretches before going into a trance. Deep inside it's mind, it was digging up the anger and rage it felt while it was held captive by the Prophets. As it did, the intense Covenant glare seemed to take over it's once almost pleasent face.
After a few moments, the Hybrid stood to it's towering height.
This time when the voices spoke, there was something different in not only in the tone, but also in the depth
'It's time we find out if the spirits are what they once claimed they were'

Jack and Carol felt it immediately. They weren't sure exactly what it was, but the ripple rang throughout the whole arena. The couple knew they were no longer dealing with the same creature even before it spoke. A silent glance was all that was needed for Carol to step away into the stands. With that, Jack flew back a few feet to give himself and Drasel space.
"Well then, if you are so eager..."
He stood there, waiting...

Drasel's evil glare turned into an evil smile, and soon it laughed. It's real voice was heartless and icy. It's laugh echoed throughout the stadium and every spectator swore up and down the air just got colder.
As the Hybrid finished laughing, it took the sword from the straps holding it frimly in place along it's right thigh. Before igniting it, Drasel extended it's long arm, with sword in hand, pointing it at Jack.
'I hope you fall with utmost pain and suffering by the end of this battle'

Sizing up his opponent, Jack watched as the alien drew its blade. If it indeed had gotten colder in the arena, he hadn't felt it. Of course, being made of fire has its advantages.
"Well, I see you can talk. Now let's see about your walk."

Without Warning, Drasel charged towards Jack. A few yards from it's target, Drasel used it's powerful legs to jump into the air. It aimed it's body to land in front of Jack. But around the time Drasel's feet passed the top of Jack's head, time seemed to slow as the Hybrid used it's body to twist it's left leg in a kick that was aimed for Jack's head. Using this momentum, Drasel was also ready to hit with it's tail shortly after the kick

WHOOSH!
Jack heard the rush of air before he'd noticed his opponent was moving. It was only because he'd prepared himself for the incoming attack that he was able to see it at all. As soon as he meant to charge forward and meet the beast, it instead leapt over and towards him. When the leg flashed out it was only his reflexes that saved him, his ghostly form floating backwards out of the leg's reach. What he hadn't accounted for was the long lashing tail that came right after the kick, slapping him in the face.
"You're fast, I'll give you that. Matter-of-fact, I'll give you strong too. You had to be to inflict pain through this armor. Well, now it's my turn." Jack said.
With that he slashed out with his clawed gauntlets at the beast, hoping to catch it off guard.
