in basic rp games, such as online ones, you have strict rules. it prevents people from cheating the system. and if you want a guild like this to grow, then you have to start out strict, you can't just work your way up, as the theory you have used. the reason for the rules are for you not to god-mod(meaning you don't die at all and say your as powerful as god) and that is so boring to have a constant "i can't die, blah blah blah". that is one of the reasons for the rules to be strict.
another thing you pointed out was about getting your life back, it is 5 gold...anyone can get 5 gold. all you do is browes around gaia, daily chances, daily chances on rally, ect. it is not hard to spend 5 gold or get it.
I'm not doing this to be mean but to make some understand that you can't start out small like a child. most of us here are not childen. so you can't slowly move into something all the time, sometimes you have to start out big and then lessen the strictness as time progresses.
plus, medalwolf has already accepted the rules. and also these rules are strict will provide fairness and equality to all members instead of giving more power to others. in this way, crew members, captins, and regular guild members should compete on the same level without the big wigs being superior to other guild memebers.
do you honestly believe that a system left unattended will go as planned? if you try to "wing" an RP, it'll only end in disaster. certain members will always try to be superior to others and this system prevents that.
