[Cloud Forest] Theme Song=Awakened Forest from Final Fantasy IX Cloud Forest
This forest is not a forest where it is eternally dark. No, I am NOT that un-original. And yes, you CAN find your way out if you enter. It is not impossible, but fairly difficult. It is a big forest filled with many mythical creatures. Who lives here?
Werewolves, Fairies, and Elves mostly live here but other things lurk in these woods as well. So far...

Krystal was sitting on the gound, her back against the tree she usually slept in. Her eyes were closed, but she was not asleep. She relaxed, listening to the sound of the wind blowing against the trees, it had been a long time since she had felt as calm as she did now. She finally opened her eyes and pulled out the cresent moon clip from her hair. She stared at it affectionatly, remembering when her mother gave it to her when she was a small child. She breathed on it, then rubbed it until it shined. "Perfect." She whispered to herself as she clipped the accessory back in her hair and then sighed out of boredom.

Nakaraan walked through the forest, his eyes closed as he listened to the forest. He liked the "voice of the forest".
"The forest sounds peaceful and relaxed," he said, his eyes still closed as he walked through it. "Why can't everyone be like - "
He was cut off when his footing slipped. He then fell and rolled down a hill. He hit a few rocks and sticks along the way, so it was obviously painful. He finally stopped when he hit a tree, back first. He ended up upside down against the tree.
"Ow...I've got to stop walking around with my eyes closed."
He got up and kept walking. He stopped when he saw a girl sitting against the tree that he hit.
"Oh, hello," he said to her. "I didn't notice you there."

Krystal looked up at the stranger. "...Hello." She said as she stood up and brushed the dirt and grass off her clothes. When she finished, she smiled. "Are you ok? That looked awfully painful."

"Krystal...and actually, I live here." She stated, pointing to the tree she had been sitting against. "Not too comfortable to sleep in, but it gives shelter and that's enough." She added as she sat back down in the spot she was in before. "So, what brings you to Cloud Forest...um...um..oh, silly me, I forgot to ask you your name." She laughed.

"Heheh," he chuckled as he suddenly jumped up the tree and climbed up one of its branches. "My name is Nakaraan, the man without a past!"

"Without a past? How can you not have a past?" Krystal asked confusingly, tilting her head slightly. She then noticed that her staff was being dragged away by two squirls. "Excuse me for a moment." She said to Nakaraan as she stood up, closed her eyes and clasped her hands together. An illusion of a small white cat appeared in front of her and made it's way to the squirls. It let out a low hiss and scared the small animals away. The cat then vanished and Krystal opened her eyes. "That'll teach you not to steal!" She yelled after the animals, picked up her staff, and sat back down in her spot. "Sorry about that, those two are always after this thing." She smiled.

"Really now?" he asked her, a smile on his face. "I've heard of monkeys that can steal, but never of squirrels."
He hung upside down from the branch and looked at Krystal.
"So, how's life been treating you?"

"Eh, pretty good I guess...and yourself?" Krystal closed her eyes for a moment to listen to the wind gently blow through the trees.

Kane looked around as he walked through the forest, he had entered a little bit ago, at least now he didn't have to man the bar while foolish acts like singing and comedians happened. They weren't bad just... they brought way too many people in the pub. He drank out of his canteen/bon. He stretched a little and said to himself looking at the clouds through the trees, "Hm.... at least I met a new person..."

"Life is very eventful so far," he said with a smile as he let go of the branch, flipped over in the air, and landed on his feet. "For instance, I ended up in this forest and met you."
He cocked his ear when he heard the distant voice of someone else. He disregarded this for the moment.
"So, what's happened in your life so far?"

Kane went a bit deeper and deeper into the forest, he had lived her most of his life well it was one of the places he spent more then 20 years at for a time at least. He knew his way around at least. He didn't think many things woulda of changed and tripped over a root like an idiot...

Krystal smiled and stood back up. She clutched her staff with both hands so she wouldn't lose it. "My family vanished." She stated simply. She paused for a moment before speaking again. "They just vanished about six years or so ago. I've been training myself ever since then to fight whatever took them away." She made a slight frown. "I don't where where it's at, but I will find it one day, and it'll be sorry it ever messed with my family."
