I thought that this final movie left some things open (like where is zukos mom!?) Does anyone think that there is more avatar coming? Besides the live action movie, will we see another series?

the pplz who made avatar said that the avatar world is so big, and since they didnt explore everything they could have in it, ther'es a good chance that theres going to be a new series
however,
i dont think its going to be able to match The Last airbender
and, what would the story be anyway?
they cant really have Avatar:The last Earthbender or something like that
but then, considering the name Avatar: blah blah blah
i think they left themselves the possibility of writing a new series

It's offically offical. There is going to be a new avatar series. This guild doesn't die until I, or the guild creator, or the admins, or a lot of people whose power overshadows that of mine, says it does. My sister was so upset that they seemingly dropped Ursa plotline, she scoured the net for something avatarish airing after the finale. The show will, of course, incorperate Zuko and Ursa, and a bunch of charecters we never heard of. plus some old favs.
NOTE: this is entirely based off of what my sister told me. So you might want to replace offical with Relying on my sister who lies... alot. BUt I doubt she was faking this as it gave her some personal gain.

Since I'm not 100% sure, I can't say "yes there will be a new series" but really, they said there's a lot of Avatar world to cover, they left things-HUGE things- unresolved, and I highly highly doubt that Nickelodeon would want to lose such a popular show/franchise.
It would be a shame to shut the Avatar world away for good just because Aang's journey is over. You can't stop something like this.
