Seriously. They're worse than emo kids. I wish I had one of those "NOT JUMPING!!" signs, so I could smack them in the head with it. People go to shows to dance and enjoy live music, NOT TEXT YOUR BFF JILL ABOUT HOW OMG SOME GUY ALMOST KIND OF LOOKED AT YOU. Or how unfair it is that it's hot inside and your makeup is running. Or how some kid just bumped into you. Or how many losers are there jumping around. I'm sure your friends can survive for a few hours without hearing from you.
Oh, and those "losers" are probably having a better time than you anyway. Jumping around and dancing is way more fun than standing there trying to look cool. I know you don't want to mess up your hair since you just spent several hours trying to make it look like it had encountered a lawn mower and an electrical outlet, but nobody cares. Really. Except maybe the guy behind you that wants to rip it out of your skull because you're being so obnoxious.
That high-pitched scream you seem to have perfected is more annoying than attractive. I've yet to meet a guy in ANY band who finds ear-splitting screeching a turn-on. Even if the noises coming out of your mouth are supposed to sound like "I LOVE YOU!!!" ...or even the more common "YOU'RE ******** SEXY!!!"...most of them don't want to hear it. And neither does anyone in the surrounding area. Just stop.
And for the girl who accidentally encountered the word's smallest mosh pit...No, I don't care that we probably broke your toes. It's your own damn fault for wearing flip-flops to a show. Stop whining.

Okay, okay....maybe I did over-react a little. But going to shows is one of the few things in this world that make me happy, so when people start messing with that they better watch out. twisted
