For centuries, good has always fought against evil. The birth of Lucifer to the death of Jesus were only small portions of what was to come. Human have always been in the middle of this infinite battle for what is right and what is wrong. Since the dawning of Adam and Eve, sin has entered the world and slowly turned humans away from God's view. As a last resort at peace before the Great War would begin, God has sent down to the surface world angels, also known as goddesses.
An angel's job is simple-to make the life of humans happy and graceful. An angel has many different personalities just as as humans do. So its not unnatural to see one curse, even though it causes consequences on their own part. It is is written that an angel will always be loving of the human race, ever focused on helping them find their way through life and receiving God's Grace and salvation to heaven.
But of course it has become more difficult when the Devil brought forth his own army. These being are known as demons, also called devils. Their job is the exact opposite. To tempt surface dwellers into sin and cause misery in their life. Their most important part is to steer a human away from the Lord's arms and into Lucifer's. Of course if the human decides not to accept salvation and dies before doing so, he will doomed to suffer in Hell forever. Demons too have different personalities, so seeing a devil act kind and courteous is not uncommon, but yet it causes consequences.
God has also decreed to this small upbringing battle that under no circumstaces can His angels induse magic infront of humans. It would be like performing miracles to make them turn to His side. The Devil himself doesn't mind at all, but as long as his demons don't perform nothing to scarr surface dwellers. Demons and angels can hide themselves in human forms. They can also lead a human life to get close in accomplishing their goals. Also, angels and demons have these strict documents called contracts. Though its never been used to its full potential, a contract binds a human to an angel or demon if he writes his name in blood. The angel or devil is therefore called a guardian and must do whatever it takes to keep the other side from gaining any leverage in their thinking.
There are two true leaders other then the high mighty ones that are generals for angels and devils. Both are open to take if you want them.

This RP takes place in Salem, Virginia. 2010.
Appearence wise, angels of course have halos, feathery dove wings, holy aura surrounding them. You can choose your own clothing.
Devils have batlike wings, horns, the whole "I'm evil' aura surrounding them. XP You can give them anything else aside from the three big needs.
There can be no mixed demon/angel.
Alright, this puppy is open. XP

Gaia Name: Mistress-Okami Name: Clarice Age: 400 years old. Race: Angel Gender: Female Appearence: Angel Form Human Form Weapons: Holy Staff Her sword, Holy Bell. Magical Abilities: Clarice is more inclined with fire and wind magic. Though she can perform the much simpler arts of turning water to wine, it drains her powers greatly to use water to douse flames in a forest fire. She has the power to read mind and feel a human's emotions as her own. She can look into a person's mind, memories as such. Personality: Even angels have an evilness or two in their heart. But Clarice shows absolutely no evilness inside. She is very kind, compassionate to others. She will do everything in her power to make someone happy. Which brings her to her biggest flaw, she is extremely naive, easily taken advantage of. She won't judge anyone unless she has proof they are doing something they shouldn't. She relates herself to people in pain and attempts to comfort them. Background: She was born an angel in Heaven. Her parents remain there to this today, very proud of her good works. Being born in heaven means she was able to overlook the world and see the suffering it went through. Most of the time she watched, she was sent into tears. She was curious about humans and their lifestyles, even if they were making mistakes here and there. After a few decades of training herself to become a guardian angel, she was sent to Earth to help in expanding goodness. Misc: Although she is extremely powerful, her jewelry are actually seals to keep her power restrained. She must ask permission from God to break her seals and only if it is needed.
Then there's the problem of using too much of her power. If she does happen to use to much of her power, she will immediately fall asleep to regain strength. It doesn't matter where she is or the situation, she will just fall over and doze off. Which is why that's another reason she is so apprehensive to fighting.

Gaia Name: Mistress-Okami Name: Derek Keincha Age: 21 Race: Human Gender: Male Appearence: Sexy. xDPersonality: Very outspoken and loves to make jokes all the time, Derek finds himself to be steriotyped as the cocky jock from College. But he doesn't seem to care, in fact he embraces the jock attitude. He doesn't seem to carew when he picks on people at college, the regular bully to freshman who side step him. He's cocky, arrogant, and self-centered. But he has this part of him that for some odd reason he likes to volunteer. He says its just to waste time but some people think maybe he's actually trying to be nice for once. Background: He was born and raised a football player. His parents provided him with the best school with the money they could afford. His father of course encouraged his football playing. His mother always had some concern for his attitude towards others, but she could do little with this star jock personality her husband kept pushing on him. In all respect and admiration for his parents, he really doesn't know much about religion. You could say he's indesicive about it. But that of course pushes him to the demonic side because he refuses to accept salvation. He just believes he might as well enjoy life and maybe when he's older he'll do something about it. Right now he just wants to live his life to the fullest. Misc: His has a tatoo of a bloody skull on his right shoulder blade. He also has a short temper if someone messes with him, so be warned to dodge once you say something insulting.

"Ugh, what a drag..." Derek mummbles as he waits for his last period to end. It was so boring listening to this stupid teacher who didn't know his left from right. Always blabbering on and on. Who cares about history? What the hell were you suppossed to get out of it? Its over and done with for crying out loud.
He scowls when the teacher deliberatly puts forth an effort and explains the situation about the Civil War. He leans back in his chair, eying a few students for a moment. All of them were so stupid, listening intently and even those god forsaken nerds wrote down quickly on some parts the teacher deliberatly said twice. He rolls his eyes and sighs. Leaning forward now his hand props his head up, almost dozing off on the spot because of how boring this was.
'Can't something interesting happen for freaking once?'
It was always nicee to walk around in the warm sun. Clarice busily hummed to herself with a smile, walking and exploring around the area where witches were once said to flourish. She was curious to check around the place, wondering what brave soul would come across her path for her to bring closer to God's arms. The thought of saving someone, even if it meant no thanks or gratitude, warmed her heart to further her determination. A warm smile covers her latter one. Though she was in her human form, she glowed inside. Her aura flared as she continued to walk and read the stone engraved writings of this historical sight.
Slavation from such a thing as Hell. She had heard mere stories of how painful it was to have your body burn but never die. She had to save people from such a fate. It didn't even matter to her if she saved anyone or no one. If at least one person was guarenteed to go to heaven she would be happy. No one...deserves to suffer like that.
'I just hope I can at least offer my services, God. I hope I can be of some use to you.

[[I have one not serious thing to say before I start.... PONIES!! -Dances around, clapping-]]
Gaia Name: o - Mao - o Name: Mazy Age: 573 years Race: Demon Gender: female Appearence: Poke Weapons: Teh Bow and Arrow Teh Dragon Sheep And a demonic staff I'm to lazy to find a picture of, but its pretty much a herding staff. Magical Abilities: Makes puppets out of people agest there will for five minnutes at a time between one hour periods. Singing, although that can be debated, because it only works with her animals. Personality: Because of her screaming desire to become an angel, she is often sweet, loving and motherly. In other words, she is the outcast of the underworld, which makes her quiet and shy, but when she see's or even smells an angel, jelious takes over, and she could lead an army. Background: She thrives on animals. So terrible this love is she would kill to save them, and so, hell took her in with somewhat open arms. She was sick of being in purgitory, and chose away from got, but instantly regreted it. Slowly, her life became a living hell -no pun intended- and she was desperate to get away. The only thing she enjoyed was the power of manipulation, which seemed like it would stay, considering she possessed that trait when she was alive so long ago. Now in hell, she was assigned to sheperd the demonic animals and raise them into storng fighter. This she did eagurly, but wil doubt in her mind. It is a heartbreaking moment to watch her work crumble to the earth under her feet. She sings to the dragons and beasts to keep them close, and deals them out to the hellrisers on earth, so they get some good transportation and a compainion. Misc: The horns on her head symbolize her simple task of herding the fighters, and let the other dragons and demons know what her job is.

"Hey, Hey," I warn, shaking a sythe looking staff at the young metalic reptile, which looks hurt and scootches back into line, "Don't give me that look, Gargoyle Breath, I know you better." I warn. Instnatly it is gone, replaced by a look that resembles annoyance. There are five others besides him, he being the youngest, while Death Bone is the oldest. He will be going soon, and Black Flame is expecting soon, so that will balance things out. This was an alright life, but I craved to be teaching the beautiful Pegasses of heaven. After all, those people got what was comming to them for dog fighting. Who needs leagal authority anyway? Cragled Claw starts waundering, and I pull him back in a mannor that deeply irritates him. My fingers come up, and I feel each one hooking to a joint of his body. With little consontration, I steer him back, weaving my fingers through the humid air. His fangs are barred, but I heed no mind and usser them on. We had to be at the next town by nightfall, or I would be ducted more points. I needed all I could get to get at a shot at heaven. "Stop slacking, Carmella!" I called. There was a toil from the opposite side of the herd, which bumped them all into a tighter mass. Soon after, a wolf-like animal licked in black flames pounded over to me, toiling in her deep, echoing call again. "Hush, Carmella." I warned, and she pushed her head into my hand once before circling around again. She was still training, and she would be moved on to a more advanced sheperd with more talent then I had. And again I would train. This was my dull, poor life, and it sucked. Man, this all better change, or I'm excaping back to earth again. I wouldn't have to, considering I was eligible to visit the upper world again after I reached the town. I had to bring Gargoyle Breath up for training in Salem, Verginia. That will be a hoot.

((Your devlish pony would want you. <3 I'll take the feathery one. Soooo cute. xD)) 'I...am going to die...' he grummbles in his mind. Finally, for grace it seemed, the bell rang and he was practically the first one out of there. He made a bee-line to his locker, and unfortunatly there was a kid in his way that was busily putting his books away. Derek merely grinned and before everyone, he shoved the younger, freshmen boy away. The poor kid fell on his back with the books he had in hand all around him. Because of his position he was laughed at, Derek especially.
What a loser. He takes his time putting his own books away, and slams his lockeronce done. He only looks down on the student gathering himself together.
"Next time move ya little loser," he says snidely and wastes no time in leaving the scene. Reading the text in the stones gave information to how human perspectives were easily twisted by fewer people. She couldn't believe that just for healing a sickly person that was said to have no cure embroided them as a witch. If she were only here a few centuries ago to do something about it. Fluttering wings breaks her train of thought and feel something perch itself on her shoulder. Looking over with a surprised smile, it was a dove. It chirped to her weakly, and was thus shown before her eyes to have a hurt leg. She reaches up and lets the bird jump to her finger before putting it infront of her.
"Oh you poor thing. Here," she says softly and gently wraps two fingers around its wounded leg. Light emits from her digits while she keeps her eyes closed. The wound heals, allowing the bird to give a happy chirp of thanks.
"No need for thanks. I was glad to help," she replies, understanding its language. With a big smile and throw her hand up and allows the bird to fly off with renewed strength. She watches as it dissapears from view. Such things reminded her of the winged horses back home. Now that she thought of it, she wondered how the animals in Hell were fairing. They were not permitted to suffering and were thus cared for she assumed. No angel had ever ventured down and ever came back up alive. God merely through any demon back to Hell if they even tried.

[[ARGH! I only have one contact in, and I can't see Dx]]
I stroked Fallen with my finger tips, as we walked alone in the human streets. I scanned each individual, giving them names, and skimming up a terrible ending of their happy lives. The could not see us, other wise I would assume they would be terrified by the large shadowed wolf in front of them. I paused mid-stride, watching a fey dance across the street, it’s trim tinted face twisted with sin. In tales, Faery’s were suppose to be small. In reality, they were nothing of the sort. They were human size, with a malevolence strike. Bone girl passed me, her budging eyes piercing with question. I mirrored the skinny fey. Each of her bone’s shown through her milky skin, but in some odd way she was beautiful. She crossed and tripped a nearby being. I grinned wickedly. Bad luck, as the humans would say. I laughed my silvery laugh. There was no such thing. Fey were imperceptible to them, as I was, unless I wanted to be. Nearby, Scrawl-face glared at me. I simply gave her a twisted grin and continued down main street.

((...owwy. ._.;; )) A grunt escapes his mouth when impacted with front line guard. Like hell he was going to get passed him. He already grinned and pushed the front tackler off and into the dirt. That should show him.
"Alright! Take a breather!" yells the coach. Not bothering to help the guy he had pile drived into the dirt, he takes his leisurely time getting something to drink and rests on the bench, Even if he wasn't the quater back he knew he was a hot shot anyways. No one got passed him. But anyone's downfall always raised his pride and confidence. He knew he was better then them all. Maybe he should ask the coach for him to become a running back. Still happily humming to herself, Clarice walks to a bench and sits down to watch the scenery. What a beautiful world this was. In heaven there were mere clouds as far as the eye could see with the exception of island like areas with flowers and trees. But the sun set was absolutely wonderful for someone who had never seen it before. Her eyes sparkled with amazement.
Even if the day was draining into night, she still had high hopes of making people happy. It was her job after all to spread happiness to those misfortunate. Her eyes close as she takes in the soft breeze that goes by. She had no need to look for a place to stay since nature itself was her home.
She curiously watched joggers and couples that went by. Even though their time in this world is short, some humans seem to try and makes the best out of it. Her smile turns warm at the sight. Tomorrow or even tonight she was going to put all of her energy just like today in giving humans happiness.

[[I GOT MY LAPTOP biggrin DD]
Scrawl-face danced gracefully towards me. Her steps light and bubbly. The left side of her face carried complex tatoos, hense her kind's name, scrawl-face. She paused infront of me, dipping her head to glance at my shoes. "Broken Dawn," she greeted, her lovely face dark with shadows. "Dawn" I corrected, brushing my fingertips through Fallen's thick fur. "The Dark court is expecting you" Scrawl-face said, her voice rising in distance. I smiled. "I'm so sorry to disapoint. I do not wonder." Scrawl-face scowled. She lifted the hem of her dress to take a step towards me. "The King asks of you" She retorted, her eyes alighting in slit shaped pupals. I knew what she was thinking. She thought just because the king asked of me, I had to go. I thought to oppisite. "I'm afriad I can't go" I growled, annoyed by her thinking she could easily lead me to the king. Her eyes set a blazed. "Under the Kings oders you must come with me" She set her jaw. I grinned in reply. "He's not my king" With that, I walked away, Fallen at my side, like always.

[[Broken Dawn... Breaking Dawn... hmm...]]
"Come on, Gargoyle." I hiss. I've used some magical ability to shift him into a wolf looking animal. It was as close as I could get to a normal look for him. He was stuborn and unsure, never had he been to such a world that looked anything like a paradice. He was used to the cool flames of hell, and now there was the sun on his back, birds singing, grass swaying. A wistle blew from some massive structure without a roof. I wasn't here when these were invented, but I had herd the name from someone who had arrived in hell more reicently. A stadium. Gargoyle Breath snapped uneasly, knowing I used that to call him sometimes, and twisted in the leash, snapping it. He went charging to it in an attack. If anyone from the human world touched him, he would lose his form. I chased afted, my stupid horns pushing from my head as I started to panic. He jumped through the opening in the side, and I charged after. There was a faint glow right as I burst though, and Gargoyle Breath was standing over someone. I replayed what must have happened in my head. He charged through, and saw the bench of students -which was shattered on the ground- and tackled one. He was handsom, with oddly light hair that looked good on him, and was probibly an early adult, 21 or 22. Either way, he was pinned under Gargoyle Breath, who was an obvious dragon, metal plated and about twelve feet off the ground as a baby. Others were fleeing, yelling. I blushed with anger, and called in the dragons toung, "Get. Off. Him. And. Come Here." He obayed, humiliated at how awful he had acted. Note to self: Don't use wistles anymore. "Sorry." I was speaking human, although I'm sure I would start sounding more... old fassioned then he did if I went on a rant.
