*hugs hugs hugs* I almost don't know what to tell you because I don't know you and I don't know your situation or anything really, but I'll do my best.
First, I recommend checking out www.recoveryourlife.com for networking. If anyone has advice to give, it's the people at RYL because they've been through exactly what you are going through. Check out the forums for advice, distraction, and whatever else.
Second, I recommend finding a friend, or several friends, whom you can call anytime you're "triggered." If you haven't told anybody in your "real life" about your cutting, find someone you can tell. Friends are a good place to start cuz they're not half as scary as parents, teachers, or other adult freaky people. And once you've got a friend or two on your side, they can be there as distractions and encouragement - as I said, call someone when you're feeling triggered.
Third, I don't know if you know God or have any faith, but I just want you to know that, as cliche as it is, Jesus loves you. You are beautiful and wonderful in His eyes, and He wants to help you and heal you. I'll be praying for you.
You're welcome to pm me anytime if you want to talk or have questions or anything.

I know exactly how you feel. *hug* The only thing that helped me, was my friends. Everyone has a best friend, and whenever you feel like you need to cut, good friends are always going to be there to talk to, or to hold you when you cry. Love is the best form of therapy, and I'm sure your friends and us will gladly be there for you when ever you need it. :]♫♥♪

both of them are right! friends are amazing sources of help, safety, comfort, and love. and it's true. Jesus does love u. i'll be praying for u too! i will encourage u, though, to tell ur parents (or a family member). u don't ahve to do it immediately, but they are there for u always. have u seen lilo and stitch? "ohana" means family. family means no one gets left behind. well, that applies to this as well. family will always be ur support system, even when ur friends slip out of ur life. then again, i don't kno ur situation. so family might not be helpful. but i will encourage u to talk to them, or friends. and seek jesus. if u don't already have him, talk to a pastor. seeking spiritual guidance in these times is always good.

*HUG HUG HUG HUG HUG HUG HUG HUG HUG HUG HUG HUG HUG HUG HUG*
In honesty, I DON'T really understand what you're going through. But I've been there for someone who has. First off, just stop. Stop and think for a little bit. Sometimes, when we're overwhelmed with things, we lose ourselves and forget what really matters--our own selves. Think things through and sort out what you REALLY have to do. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, goes through some sort of pain. Problems come no matter how much we all want to dodge it. Don't be one of those who gives in. I don't understand, why hurt yourself more? There's more to life when you think about it. There are those out there who AREN'T given that opprotunity. Aborted children, those with an incurable disease--they don't have much of a choice. Those of us here who are well, we were chosen to LIVE life. We were the stronger ones. Make the most out of it. Life is TOO short to waste it off giving in to problems that will eventually be overcomed. I believe in you ;] Agreed with the others, find someone you can seriously talk to. We're all too weak to deal with things on our own. There's always someone out there who's willing to give in a hand.
TRUST ME, you can surpass this situation without self-harm. Treasure yourself.
heart heart heart LOTS OF LOVE GIVEN OUT TO YOU! heart heart heart

You might not r e a l i z e it... *hugs* During these times, a hug and just knowing people care for you is exactly what you need.
I understand what you're going through completely. It took me a year or so to stop, and it's only been about two or three months since I have last cut myself, that I'm not too sure of. I've taken long breaks from cutting, but ended up going right back to it. But since I've learned about TWLOHA (which was a few months ago for me.), my life has changed.
I've always had my close friends routing me on, letting me know that I could do it as long as I had some self-control about it, but that wasn't exactly the best advice I could have gotten; probably why I continued to do it for a while. But I also had friends I could vent on. When things got rough, I had them to talk to, to let me know that I was loved and cared about.
I'm not going to lie to you, everyone's ideas are really great and all, but as a former cutter, they don't exactly work --sometimes you just need to try your best to quit, you just need to stop whether or not you have the razor. It's about your determination and you're own self-will. You have friends on your side, you have all of us on your side, you have To Write Love On Her Arms on your side. You're not alone. Sometimes you just need to be reminded that. But you are l o v e d.

That is wonderful! I am so glad that we could help; that is what TWLOHA is all about, and hopefully we're good "representatives" on this guild, even though we're totally unaffiliated. I'll keep praying for you, and I hope that those who are supporting you keep on supporting you and helping you. I can't wait to see your future posts!
