So what do you all think about the movies? I think they are pretty cheesy (especially the 2nd one, haha) but I get a kick out of them. xd

I like both of them. THey were well done but for the 2nd I wished they used ALL of the actors from the first. The first was more fight-based while the second was more towards special attacks.

Yeah the movies pretty much sucked, but I still went out of my way to buy them last week. I even got that MK Conquest box-set that was that TV series that used to come on with Kung Lao, Cero and Taja. Dam, that show was the bomb! (Not to mention the hot chicks lol)
My fav part of the movies was the Reptile-Lui Kang fight in MK1. I heard Sub-zero will be the main character in the new movie "MK Destruction" or wateva they're gonna call it, which I feel is a step in the right direction. Anyone who knows the whole history of MK will know how much of a part the Sub-zero's throughout history played. If anyone wants to read it, PM me and I will send you the copy I downloaded from the net, or u can just Google "Mortal Kombat History"

I really liked the Mortal Kombat movies as a kid, and I've had a crush on Robin Shou ever since I saw the first movie. But now, I think they are a little cheesy, but it brings back memories of my childhood, and most movies that I watch based on videogames or comic books just completely destroy my favorite characters and the storylines, but overall I'd say the MK movies were pretty on-point/ I just would've liked to see more Jade, Scorpion, and Ermac. I hope Noob Saibot at least makes an appearance in the new movie, but I don't really want to see any of the characters introduced in MK 4 or later (with the possible exception of Nitara and Tanya)
