The topic title says a lot but not nearly as much as this news link. NewsHeard it on the radio this morning and thought I should be the bearer of potentially bad news. Its kinda my thing.

From the man who brought us War On Drugs...
While still being shocked and somewhat disgusted by all of this, I suppose that, in a way, It's understandable. He was going through a hard time after separating from his wife after 14 years, with her taking their three sons. It's sad that he resorted to drugs, but hopefully this will be a wake-up call for him to get back on the right path.
If convicted, he could spend up to 5 1/2 years in prison, which needless to say, would not be good.

Celdia Yeah but think about the comeback album they'd release. Please don't say that you want him to go to prison just for the sake of a "comeback" album?!

I think we all need to keep in mind that Steve is a celebrity and that 9 times out of 10, celebs get a slap on the wrist and time in rehab for stuff like this.

"Barenaked Ladies frontman Steven Page will avoid jail time on drug possession charges as long as he seeks substance abuse treatment and stays clean for the next six months, a judge said Tuesday. If he can meet those conditions, the charges will be dropped, Judge Thomas Morgan said." Here is the Original Article if you would like to read more. At least the waiting is over and he can get on with his life.
