Anything about Superliga goes. You can post results at any time and anything good about the orange gets you 50g (as soon as trade is back) you only get the 50g once and you must of watched the game and meant what you said.I encourage cheerin for team except DC United cuz they're gone

I watched the game. I think they were lost w/out DeRo, Stu, and Ching. But they put up a good fight.

Yup! I am so excited for the Dynamo. I hope that its a Revs-Dynamo final too. But now Stuart Holden is tied with Ante Razov for top scorer. Hopefully that will change since Chivas USA isn't in the semi's.

Match Time: August 5nd, 2008 @ 7PM CST Match Location: Gilette Stadium Opponents: Houston Dynamo v. New England Revolution
Notes on upcoming match:
Third meeting between these two teams in two and a half seasons. This will be the first time two MLS clubs face one another in an international finals in over two decades.
How They Got Here:
New England Revolution advanced over Atlante in the SuperLiga Semifinals on a Shalrie Joseph score. It was the lone score of a loosely contested match.
Houston Dynamo advanced over Pachuca in the SuperLiga Semifinals on second half scores from Bobby Boswell and Corey Ashe.
My take on the Dynamo semi-final match and the upcoming final:
The Dynamo v. Pachuca semi-final match was outstanding. The first half was clearly favoring the Dynamo's push and push approach. Very rarely was Dynamo keeper Pat Onstad tested, and even more, the defensive line let very few chances even come close to needing the Canadian's talents. The start to the second half, however, proved to be entirely the opposite as Pachuca pushed and heaped tons of pressure on the defense and Pat Onstad. Pat proved up to the onslaught, though, knocking one solid shot straight up into the air allowing his defenders to knock it away from the goal and further up the field.
The Dynamo counter-attacked when they could and with a fervor and patience that seemed destined to eventually score. The first score for the Orange came off a cross from the right side which was deflected swiftly by Houston Defender Craig Waibel right onto another Houston Defender's, Bobby Boswell's, foot and into the goal. The score immediately electrified the fan base in attendance (stated by above 16,000) and the home team. Tuzos fans were stunned, but did not consider it an end to their team's chances.
Sure enough, moments later Los Tuzos pressured back, but once again, the defense proved up to it. Shortly after, Brad Davis was pulled in favor of speedy little man, Corey Ashe, which proved to be the most impactful move by Orange Coach Dominic Kinnear on the night. Ashe came in and added a second goal off a gorgeous cross from Brian Mullan. The header shot past Pachuca's stunned keeper. Ashe's goal lit the entire stadium up and sent the crowd into a frenzied buzz. Two goals and about 10 minutes or so until the Orange would find themselves in the SuperLiga Finals.
Tuzos never surrendered, however, and pressured once again. A swift move by one of the Pachuca forwards took Cameron out of his shoes, but Corey Ashe managed to catch the lightning fast forward (from 30 feet behind no less!) and kill the play before it had a chance to become too overly dangerous. A few minutes and some defensive razzle dazzle and the Orange Crush were successful in their bid for international recognition. Dynamo 2 - Pachuca 0.
Next up for the Dynamo is one of their most recognized foes when it comes down to trophy time, New England Revolution. New England will prove to be once again a tough, TOUGH opponent. Orange feel confident they have the upperhand in this match, however, with Jaqua back and Kamara coming into his own. Not to mention the fact New England has yet to beat Dynamo in trophy matches, but no one on the Orange will really point to that fact. Everyone can expect an intense match in Gilette on Tuesday and I, for one, am looking forward to seeing what Jaqua and Kamara might bring in their second game with the Orange this season.
Can you tell I love the Dynamo?
Oh...and I went with a friend to the Pachuca match...so those comments are from my insights into the game from our seats LIVE! It was AWESOME!
And yes, Olympics coming on the 8th of August so Holden and Ianni are out of league and tourney play till they are over.
