It's just a simple question How thought out do you think the story of a comic should when you start drawing out the first few pages for it?

That depends on the person I think, but if you already have a good idea, then I think it should be pretty well thought out. Write it down, maybe go over it once or twice to make sure it sounds good, and then start drawing. That usually helps me, although my comics usually don't get more than a few pages, so I'm not sure what to do about longer ones....

Ahh...this is a good question. I like to have every single little thing written down for the begining, and a rough idea of what I want later on in the storyline. It helps when you add plot twists, because the plotline is right there for you to examine. I tend to use sticky notes if I find something will affect a later event.

i always try to right the entire story plot down first then do stick figures as a rough with out words then i start the actual comic...i've never really gotten to the half way point though so that stuff is just a guess on what i would do XD

Hmm, to make a good intro for every comic depends on what kind of comic you are making. One could start out of random like the comics of Azumanga Daioh, Some start from a beginning of someone's life like the comics of Katekyo Hitman Reborn, others with conflict like the anime Basquash! and others start at the middle which leaves mystery like the comic Ragnarok. I for myself am working on one, in which started with a random even which led to a few flashbacks, kinda like Full Metal Alchemist. But it all depends on you, your comic, and how you want to appeal. I myself like understandable and chronological comics ^_^
