Alright guys I’m curious about your guy’s opinions on which character I should come back as. There is of course the original Kail.
Character name: Kail’igen [31]
Attack: 0
Defense: 0
Combat Dice: 1d6 (2)
Magic: 13
Life: 30 (6)
Equip: 6
Abilities: Fast Caster (4)
Items: Magic Bow, Apprentice's Staff, Apprentice's Amulet x2, Sorcerer’s Amulet, Seal Charm x5, Spirit Bracer(c 7/10), Heath Potion x2, Elixer of magic, Elixir, Santa’s Helper Hat, Shop Ticket, 6 cp pet, , Areathos Signet ring, Strength Potion, Defense Potion, Combat Potion, Goblin Patroller Token, Shop Ticket, Imp Toast, , 1LV pet, Divine Ramuna, and AP tamer., 3 charge tokens.
Spells: Overblast, Energy Burst, Lesser Mana Shield, Counter-spell, Life Drain, Greater Mana Shield
Actions: Stunning Blow, Defensive Hold, Power Up, Taunt, Pounce
Money: 760 chips
Now I would tweak him a bit to either have a 63 damage incinerate through illuminati or have a pet with heal and stuns. It depends whether I want to go for dps or versatility. However if I break him down this is what I get.
Kail reduced
31 cp
5710 chips
6 tickets
Items: Magic bow, spirit bracer, Elixer, Imp toast, 1LV pet, Araethos signet ring. Santa’s Helper Hat, Divine Ramuna, 3 charge tokens
And I can make this
Daustua (32)
Attack: 10
Defense: 0
Combat Dice: 6d4(10)
Magic: 0
Life: 25 (5)
Equip: 3
Abilities: Fury (4)
Items: Rage amulet, Sword of 9 clouds, Blood Dagger, AP Tamer, 1LV pet, Araethos, signet ring, Imp Toast, Santa’s Helper Hat. Magic Bow, Seal Charm x3
Spells: none
Actions: Stunning Blow, Pounce, Defensive Hold, Power Up, Taunt, Retaliate, Chi cannon, Supreme attack, meteor
Chips 1660
This is what my character would look like if I transformed her into Daustua. With the rage amulet I will hit for between 48 to 102 with 3 attacks, averaging around 75, and still be free to perform an action. The one problem is her damage drops by 3 for each point of defense an opponent has, plus her damage cant be efficiently transferred form one target to another as needed, meaning a lot is wasted in overkill.. However she has a trick up her sleeve. For 3 AP she can combine supreme strike with the sword of 9 clouds to do 87 to 123, averaging about 100 damage, that can be transferred from one target to another as needed.
Or I can make this
Tank guy (32)
Attack: 0
Defense: 10
Combat Dice: (0)
Magic: 0
Life: 40 (8 )
Equip:1
Abilities: True guardian (5), Summon (4), Fast Actor (4)
Items: Blood Dagger,
Spells: none
Actions: Stunning Blow, Pounce, Defensive Hold, Power Up, Taunt, Guard, Shield Bash, Spell Block, Special Block, Punch, Kick,
Chips:
Summon. (12)
Attack: 0
Defense:0
Combat Dice:0
Magic: 0
Life: 10 (2)
Abilities: True guardian (5) Status Undead (4) regeneration (1)
This is the best tank character I can think of at the moment. It can pull up to 3 attacks at once with his summon. Has enough defense to stop most attacks and can block 30 damage of any type each round (utilizing party ap) his summon will be darn annoying to kill with its undead status. His one weakness is he has no way of recovering health on his own but he is built to work in conjunction with a healer. I'm not complelty finish with him yet as I'm still tweaking stuff. Of the three characters I’m the least thrilled (ignore this comment. I sort of like him now) about him as I love doing dps. However I notice our guild has next to no dedicated tanks and could do with one. So what is your guy’s opinion? Mage, fighter, or tank?
