Hello and first off let me welcome you to the Guild.
I am Robspike, and probably your dm if you plan on playing here.
I will be doing adventures straight out of my head.
I may be like dm's you've had in the past, I may be nothing like them.
I have my style; while I am new to dm'ing I will try my best.
I am open to constructive critism, and ideas but that doesn't mean I will let you do any thing.
I believe in fair play and using your mind.
I will have a lot to add to this later but this is just a starting note I am typing while dieing of heat stroke...

Yes as well if there is some piece of information that your character should know that others should not I will either pm you if its larger or just say it in the thread. please note also that if another character knows something adn you do not, you should not act like you do, doing so is called metagaming and you will be peanalized for it. To many times could lead to your characters untimly death. If there is an action you wish to perform like a slight of hand or such that another character should not notice you would pm and then roll.
Lets see what else would I need to specify...
Once we start I will be trying to get a certain time regulated for when we play so there is no reason to miss it, if you are absent and we play any way your character will basically tag along as an npc but won't help out, this can also lead to the death of your character but probably won't unless you miss quite a few sessions in consession.

I'd like to make a note here that everything said in the campaign threads will be considered in character. So to speak out of character simply type what you want to say out of character in (parenthesis).
Also, if your want your character to whisper something or say something under their breath you can simply do the action of a whisper or speaking under the breath then what your character is saying like this:
*says under breath* You suck (or) *whispers* They suck
Or you could simply just change the text size of what you say so it's much more like a whisper or under the breath.
Just thought I'd put that down so we don't have to deal with it once we start playing.
