Hello there.

I'd like to offer myself as an in house herbalist at your service.

Need a remedy? I have the recipe.
Charms for anything (But those that would harm)

Rosemary for memory,
Peppermint for dreams,
Lavender to sooth your soul,
and Basil to bring you wealth.

I'm also very good with headaches, colds, stomach aches, and sneezing... to name a few.

Do you have herbal charms? Share them!
Do you know how to make hot choclate that will bring you luck in love and life? Then make yourself comfortable in my little witch's cabin, and lets read some tea leaves heart

(Qualifications: I have been a family herbalist for my entire life, but I have been practicing more in the past 10 years. By next year I hope to be enrolled in Clayton College to become a Master Herbalist. I have been working with herbal magick since I was 12, and have been healing with herbs for years. I have only ever used herbs in my life -never been to the doctor or taken allopathic medicine- because of this, I think I might be useful. I can't diegnose, or legally treat anything, but I can give suggestions based on information available to the public. I will not offer anything that may be harmful to someone who is not familiar with herbs. If you have any questions that you don't wish to share with everyone my inbox is always open ^_^)

Well... I could suggest a whole lot that would help you fall asleep, but as far as knocking you out, I shouldn't say... because once you get past making you "tired" there's a thin line between asleep and dead xp

But I'll see what I can cook up wink
I think I might be able to come up with something that'll help you though.

and thanks for the compliment ^_^

Well, here's a few suggestions.

Medicine

Passion Flower tea... or a tea with both passion flower and chamomile. This will make you sleep and it relieves muscle pain. A cup before bed would be very helpful, plus it has a wonderful taste ^_^

Valerian tea will knock you out. A small cup before bed will ease nervous tension and muscle tension, and make you very tired, it should keep you out the whole night too. ONLY a small cup though, OD-ing on Valerian can be very bad. But that would take a lot... still, better safe than sorry.
This doesn't taste quite that good... but I suppose that's a matter of taste.

Spearmint oil on your pillow calms the body and the mind.

Magic

Homemade sleep charm.

in a small dark blue pouch, place a tumbled amethyst stone (more purple than white. And I suggest amethyst because it's the easiest to find.)
a few pinches of lavender to sooth your thoughts, chamomile to sooth your body, and peppermint leaves to protect your dreams.

if you have oils, I would suggest a few drops Rosemary, Lavender, and spearmint.

Place this under your pillow, or close to your head. If you want, you can say something while putting the charm together, something that you feel will sooth you. While making it, always keep in mind what it's supposed to do.

Enjoy!

Blessed be.

glade it worked.
And always use honey, no matter what anyone tells you. It's anti bacterial and anti viral. So even when you're sick it's good for you. And it'll help ease tension for a comfortable sleep.

sweet dreams!

Sheesh, how could anyone be against honey? Not only it tastes good [well, that's a matter of opinion...], it has these benefits you mentioned. I think I heard that if you got a wound/cut, you could put honey on it and it wouldn't be infected. Extremely helpful when you have a sore throath, or a throat infection. Just swallow a bit of honey and it'll clean everything x]

PS: Sweet dreams to you too! biggrin

Yep, that's true! Honey on a cut not only prootects it from infection, but it also speeds the healing process. Honey is the cure all of the natural world.
But sometimes... when it's commercial honey, made in a controled enviroment where the bees are only fed sugar water, then honey won't be too good. It can actually cause more irritation.

So make sure your honey is either organic, or all natural. That way you know the bees have been free to rome, and gather the medicine.

Another cool thing. If you eat a teaspoon of honey a day that was made in your area with local honey bees, you'll be 70-80% less likely to develope seasonal allergies.
