First I will give a little back story for you. I was born with severe asthma. Growing up I was told don't over do your self or you can't do that cause of your asthma. I was not going to except that so I would play every sport when I went out side. I ran and played hard well I payed for it. By the time I was 8, I had been in almost every hospital in central CA. I was tired of it. I had trained my body to over come it and I did by the time I was 12.
Football was my sport of choice. My parents never had the money to put me in Mighty mights. So I played flag football for my Jr. High. I was the star on the defense. I had my sights set on High School ball.
Some thing came up so I missed out on joining the team my freshman year. I needing to do something but what? Well, next was winter sports and I had my eyes on Wrestling. 10 freshman tried out and I was one of them. Due to my weight, the only people on the team I could wrestle were the forth year Varsity champs. These guys were good. Well like any Teenage male, they did not go easy on the new guy. I was a human rag doll. It was my third week of training and I got hurt. Stupidity #1: I hurt my back and I hurt it bad. Like every other male in my family I just sucked it up and did not tell any one. I had to quit the team only cause it hurt to bad and I could not keep up. That was 14 years ago and I still have that back problem. I have trouble giving my kids a bath or working on a car. I have a hard time putting socks on because the bending hurts. I wake up and it is hard to get out of bed. I don't complain to no one (I am to stubborn for that). That was just the first of many stupid things in my life that I will always be paying for.
