Hey everyone, have you guys heard of TWLOHAkids?
They're this great group of kids that once they had a chat online with Jamie, they decided to do something of their own to show their support of TWLOHA.
If you're on MySpace, their URL is on this picture;
You see, if you're involved with TWLOHAkids already, then I'm sure you know of Love Day, right? Well you see, it's just like any ordinary day, spread the love. Spread the word of TWLOHA.
Although we're not TWLOHAkids, we are TWLOHAGaians, right? So let's make our own love day. The tenth of every month should be love day, especially this month. Why this month? Last year on July 9th, I was finally beginning to see light in a dark situation. I was in a depression last summer, and on that day --I wrote this blog..
July 9, 2007 - Monday
"Well I guess this is the first time I'm going to completely rant on Myspace as I do on Gaia.

I've been inspired by a friend of mine. A friend who was very emotional, who was very pessimistic and thought little of their life. Suddenly, a life altering event happened to them and they are thankful for all they have. They are thankful for the life they once thought little of, everything they have. Personally, that's really inspired me. I'm grateful for everything I have. I'm trying to be happier -- and now I think I'm getting there. I can't however say that I am the happiest person in the world, I just know that I am grateful that I am here, that I have what I have. Mistakes that are made are kind of like lessons. You learn from your mistakes and try not to repeat them over again. Everything happens for a reason. I'm happier now, and I don't want to go back to sadness. I'll try my best to maintain this.. I know that I haven't lived a life as bad as some of my friends, and that I wouldn't understand their pain -- but everyone has been depressed and you know what? Life's not perfect. Instead of looking at how terrible things are, just look at everything and everyone you have. Be grateful you have anything at all.
Lastly, kind of chainmail that Emo sent me but I really appreciated. I'll paraphrase it though so that it sounds different;; Realize that at least two people in this world love you so much.. that they would die for you. At least fifteen people love you in one way or another. The only reason anyone would hate you, is because they want to be just like you. Your smile can bring happiness to everyone, even if they don't like you. Every night, someone thinks about you before they go to sleep. You mean the world to someone. To the world, you may just be a person -- but to a person, you might just be their world. If not for you, someone may not be living. Even if you deny it, you are special and unique. Someone you don't even realize exists, loves you. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it. When you think the world has turned its back on you, take a look : you most likely turned your back on the world. When you think you have no chance of getting what you want, you probably won't get it, but if you believe in yourself, probably -- sooner or later, you will get it. Always remember the compliments you've recieved and forget about the rude remarks. Always tell someone how you feel about them; you will feel much better when they know. If you have a great friend, take the time to let them know they are great.
Never forget to tell someone you love them when you really do.
Lastly, thanks for reading this, I love you!"
I know it sounds kinda stupid, but hey --it was a day that I truly became more enlightened. Since then, I guess you can say life has gotten better and better --and since I was introduced to To Write Love on Her Arms, I have a constant reminder that there's hope.
So here's to love day! ♥
