Ok, so I was entered in this weeks Arena and I was shot down by a bunch of idiots who don't know creative work when they see it. I want to thank each and every one of you who did vote for me and voted fairly.

So here is what I want to do now. I want to sponsor my own Avatar Contest for my friends and fellow guild members. I will be the sole judge, so there won't be any low scoring from noobs and idiots.

There will be a 1000 gold entry fee per person and the winner will get half of the amount collected. This notice is going out to over 200 people, so if everyone enters, the winner could conceivably win 100,000 gold. I think that is well worth the entry fee.

Each entry must be accompanied by a story about the avatar. There is no restriction as to the length of the story, so be creative, as the story will be a large factor in my decision as to the winner. I will not judge stories on spelling, grammar and punctuation, so don't worry about mistakes in your typing. If I don't understand a sentence, I'll ask you to explain it. I will keep a Journal entry for all submissions, so you will be able to see all of the entrants and who you are up against. If you wish to edit your entry before the deadline, just pm me the new entry and in the subject line, type: Revised Entry for Avatar Contest.

This contest is not open to outsiders, so please do not go telling your friends about it. Only those people on my friend list and in the guilds I am a member of will be accepted. The contest will run for one week beginning tomorrow, July 7th and end on Sunday, July 13th with the winner being announced the following Monday. There will also be consolation prizes for the runners-up. Don't ask me what they are, for I don't know at this time.

So get busy creating that perfect avi and accompanying story and send me your entry fee to be considered. As I said, the more people who enter, the bigger the prize for first place will be.

It has been brought to my attention that I did not stipulate a couple of things. First of all, NO TEKTEK avi's will be accepted. When you send me your story, make sure your avatar is equipped the way you want them to be entered. I will do a screen shot and save the image to my computer to be uploaded to my Journal entry. Do not send me a picture of your entry in a pm and have your avi looking different. I will not enter the picture, I will enter your avi the way he/she looks when I receive the pm.
Second, your avi does not need to remain equipped as your entry the whole week. Once I have acknowledged receipt, you may change your avi again.
