Sarah is alive.

After sending cryptic messages to Kyle, Sarah arranges for a meeting at the diner. Kyle has so many questions for her, but most of all he wants Sarah to meet Jessi. Sarah says it's out of the question -- she's risked too much already.

Sarah swears Kyle to secrecy, but he tells Jessi anyway. It's the only way to stop Jessi from participating in Taylor's dangerous plan. He convinces Sarah that she is Jessi's only hope, so Sarah promises to come to his house to meet Jessi.

Jessi waits for the moment she's dreamed about. And waits. And waits.

Someone arrives -- but it's not Sarah, it's Taylor. He's come to take her to their long-awaited meeting with Latnok. But Jessi turns him away. She wants to be free of him.

Finally, Jessi gives up on Sarah and runs away. Kyle finds her at the diner and asks her to come home, but Jessi says the Tragers are his family, not hers. She has no one.

Jessi begins to get emotional. Suddenly the diner shakes violently. The lights flicker. Customers run out in a panic. Jessi's nose starts bleeding. It's the moment that Kyle has feared -- the point when Jessi will be too far gone to save.

Suddenly, Sarah appears, but it's too late. Jessi collapses. Her heart stops.

Kyle kneels beside her and places his hand on her heart -- risking his own life to save hers. With a gasp she comes back to life and finds herself in the diner with Kyle and her mother... but they are not alone.

Latnok is watching. And the time has come to meet Kyle.
