Like the Doctor Who thread, but especially for Torchwood. Because of the nature of Torchwood, this thread will have to carry a warning.

Ianto is so cute! One thing I'm wondering about is how are the new Torchwood members going to take the Janto?

Sephy Lucrecia Valentine Ianto is so cute! One thing I'm wondering about is how are the new Torchwood members going to take the Janto? After seeing last nights episode I think Martha and Mickey the idiot will be joining Torchwood. But thats just my assumption. So I don't think Martha will be all that bothered because she's worked with the team before, and Mickey knows what Jack is like. mrgreen

I can't see Mickey being a 'real' Torchwood member, somehow. I have a 'Mickey-block'. He doesn't really have the glamour the rest of Torchwood have - he couldn't do the secret organization thing for too long. I can see him being more of a background character, more like Rhys.
Martha I can see being there all the time, and I really hope she doesn't (I just don't like her character...)
They brought in a background character from series 1 of Doctor Who for the Torchwood team (Tosh is in the episode Aliens of London, she's a scientist working on the 'space pig') so I think they are likely to do something similar this time.

I just hope Owens coming back.
He wont be able to as a skeli I'm sure but what if, being King of Weevils and all, he's able to go into Weevils and sort of... transform and look kind of like himself and kind of like a Weevil.
Seriously they can't keep him dead... hes already dead and everyone knows you can't die twice and not with Tosh dead. Who's going to morn her if not Owen?? I mean yeah all Torchwood is sad about it but Owen lost the one person who he could have been happy with and Tosh can't come back to morn Owen so its gonna have to be Owen who comes back!

rofl I thought that might happen...which is why I created the Moved/Deleted topic. If you can't find a topic, try looking there to see if it's been moved.
Anyway, back to Torchwood...am I the only one who searched Cardiff for the visitor's entrance to the Hub? (P.S IT DOESN'T WORK!! crying )

I really can't see Owen coming back, even though he was great character. But I can't see the BBC bringing him back from the dead.

I wanna go for the fun of it ^^
But yeah Owen is my favorite character, had to correct myself, I put 'was'.
I liked James Marsters character who's name I can't recall...
However in truth I like all the characters, especially the pteradactyl!
Just curious, if you had to relate yourself to one of the characters who would it be and why?
I relate best to... Owen actually. I've been thinking about it for twenty minutes and although I'm not... whats the word... cynical(?) I'm intelligent and caring and people don't always see that right away. They see the shell that I've built up but sooner or later that shell breaks up and shows the true me.
Instead of acting cynical(?) like Owen I act... well pretty daft to be honest but thats all it is. An act. Like Owen I act like something I'm not to hide the real me because I'm to afraid to show other that theres a good bloke under the shell.
Come to think of it, I really didn't care much for Owen until he lost his shell...

Everyone who knows me (in real life) will definitely say Tosh for me. Mainly because I'm good with computers, intellegent and practically minded, but I'm sure everyone could give me more reasons. Oh, and I understand techno-babble! On the subject of the pteradactyl, here's the offical Torchwood file. Quote: Came through the rift and immediately started eating sheep. We managed to bring it in without too much trouble (though ask Ianto and he'll go on about how hard it is to find decent netting). Suzie did most of the work taming it - not that the rest of us were afraid. Just - you know, it's a pterodactyl. Turned out to be fairly easy - crapped on Owen's head once, but, the main problem turned out to be when it started eating things off desks - pizza, experimental rats, alien forearm. Suzie devised a special protein sauce that tells it what stuff is fine to eat. It's nocturnal, so happy enough to come and go at night, when no-one really notices it (no one notices anything down in the Bay). It's made a few cameo appearances in photos, but nothing troubling. Some sheep have gone missing down near Barry, but Wales Today did a lovely report about black panthers on the loose. Anyone who lives local-ish to Cardiff (as in within about a hundred mile radius) will actually remember that!

Oh god. The 'panther'. The fourteen times did a lovely little number on that.
Oh I can't really think who I'm like in Torchwood...'though I'd love to be Ianto...not only would I be in Torchwood I would get to see a side to Jack that not many others see. If you have noticed, Ianto is house training Jack. He doesn't flirt as much with many other people...well not as many as he used to.
Is anybody else as dissapointed as I am that they didn't show Jack and Ianto's date?
I know I'm obsessed with them blaugh

I had noticed, but also notice that Jack is making Ianto less meek and he takes more risks (such as the time when Gwen walks in on them - I don't think he's have done anything like that before Jack...then again, you never know...)
