Located close to the nurses office to the left of it is the entrance to the Guidance Counselor's office where Lucifex Tatsumiya (Tatsumi) stays at from 8am to 6PM. Any students who have an issue they need help with, whether it's personal, involves a fellow student or classmate, grades, or even the school itself would decide to come here, seeking help and advice from an adult. Sometimes someone with social or emotional issues would come as well, hoping for some words of encouragement and guidance on how to overcome. Overall, it's a place to come to when you feel like there's no where else to go.
The office has an old, scholarly feel to it when you first enter, the room neatly organized, but adorned with numerous old artifacts, antiques, and artwork. Most of the paintings upon the wall were painted by Tatsumi himself, and lying in the center where the large desk he sits behind is. The old, oak wood desk neatly organized with numerous papers and files. It's much like a typical office, only a bit more old fashioned and many people would get more distracted by the strange artifacts and objects he has in the room, all of which are specified not to be touched by a small sign he has hanging in the back of the room saying so.

[Enters from Class 2-A] Leaving the door open for any student to simply walk in if they had any troubles to discuss with him, Tatsumi had entered his office, not saying a word, or even seeming to make a sound at all as he promptly took a seat. In one hand was the instrument case he seemed to be carrying with him the whole time, which he put down beside him as he took his seat behind the desk. In his other hand were the papers of notes he took on the students he had seen in class and the markings he had wrote down for his 'personal files', and the black coffee he hadn't finished drinking. He continued to write what he could remember from the class today about the students he had observed, casually keeping himself busy until any student or teacher came in talk. After all, contraire to what people would think due to his personality, Tatsumi was the guidance councilor.

[Cassandra enters from Homeroom 2-B]
Cassandra's little expedition around the building drew her to this place first. Mostly because it had an open door - which was quite strange for a school. She thought at first that it could've been the nurse's office she'd heard about, but she soon realized her mistake upon entering and noticing the unusual decor. 'Sheesh... It's like stepping back a couple hundred years...' She looked towards the man behind the desk, writing, taking a quick glance downward at the paper, attempting to catch a quick glance of the message, before looking back toward's Tatsumi's face, smiling - not a kiddy smile, just a normal smile.
"Ah, so you must be the guidance counselor." She said, feeling the need to state the obvious. That was a terrible habit she'd picked up over the years. Seriously, what sort of response was she expecting? 'Actually, no, I'm a polymorphed colossal Great Wyrm red dragon?' She decided not to waste the footwork, though. After all - she had a little something to talk about with such a person anyway. The Guidance Counselor, of course, not a colossal Great Wyrm red dragon (although she could probably get a few good limbs off of such a dragon).
Inviting herself in further, and taking a seat, she folded her legs and nodded, adjusting her specs. She didn't even need them here - they were magnification glass, and she only ever used them for fiddly bits of stitching - such as stitching the connections together between two - or more - brains. "I'm Doctor Byrde - 2-B's homeroom teacher." She said, smiling as she leaned forward a bit in the chair, offering him a hand to shake.

The papers he was writing on were in fact a list of the students, and he was still taking notes on all of what he could recollect from the events of today in class 2-A. He had a few other lists like this, including Cassandra's class; 2-B, but thus far, they were all blank since he had yet to monitor the class and see her teaching methods and students, but that was for next week after Kyoto. For now, he was to just investigate on a larger scale, not really picking out anyone in particular, just to get a general idea of what kind of people, especially the unique ones, attended the school.
Breaking his focus when he noticed someone walk in, he quirked an eyebrow when he noticed it was just a child. A rather mature looking one due to the outfit she was wearing and the professional manner she had, but a child none the less. As she introduced herself, he remembered now whey he recognized her, having the list of the faculty and students for reference, and he personally singled out the oddities, such as the 'child teachers' Negi and Cassandra. Observing her for a moment, taking a second to adjust his black framed glasses, he nodded slowly, taking up on her handshake with a slim hand that had a dark blue, leather glove over it as he greeted her. "Lucifex Tatsumiya, a pleasure." His voice seeming to lack any enthusiasm, or much emotion at all, he carried off with a rather blunt demeanor, even the expression in his eyes seeming somewhat hollow, lifeless, like he was just a shell of the man he used to be. But that aside, he didn't carry an attitude or a negative outlook to her, it was just an emptiness that drifted in his words towards her.
"So then, what brings you here to my office? It's not to common that I'm... graced with the presence of a fellow faculty member."

Cassandra maintained the smile on her face as they shook hands, implanting one of her trademark cysts into Tatsumi - this time into using her thumb to put it into the back of his hand, rather than her usual target of the palm. Her spell easily penetrated the leather gloves, with only a very slight blackish discoloration where the cyst had been implanted. She smiled, her face not showing any hint of her sinister actions. She leaned back her chair and smiled as she nodded. "Well, I just thought I'd come and say 'hello'." Which was sort of true. She'd really just wanted to wander around the school for a while to get a closer look - but social interaction with someone above the age of 16 was always appreciated.
She took a quick glance around the room, her attention instantly being drawn to the instrument case - after all, she'd been carrying one herself only last night. She was going to ask about it - but decided not to bother. Mostly because no matter how hard she tried, she simply wouldn't care either way. "That, and I just thought I'd just give myself a little shameless plug." She said with a chuckle. "If you ever need any operations done, just come to me. I'll do anything you need, cheapest anywhere - no questions asked. All perfectly legal, of course - I'm fully qualified." She meant it, too. She'd done all sorts of things in her past. Her most memorable one was giving a bank robber a sex change and removing bullet wound scars so that he wouldn't be caught. Now that was a well-paying job, if just a little bit mentally scarring at just how pleased the client was with their new body...

Letting out a brief sigh, he was a bit annoyed that she had come here to interrupt him for just a casual greeting. As intelligent as she seemed, she had a few quarks about her that he was already detesting. Then again, their really weren't many people out there who he enjoyed the presence of in the first place, so it wasn't an uncommon thing for him to detest someone so quickly. "Surgery...? Why not just fill me with a syringe of false hope and pray it works. Honestly, I would rather go to a real doctor. No thank you." He stated quite bluntly, his tone not wavering even the slightest despite his rather rude and cold hearted comment.
His hands falling to his side, he leaned back a bit in his chair as he looked at her with those hollow eyes of his, the icy blue gaze staring into her own for a moment as he heard the voice in the back of his mind, he did the same as always and ignored it. It really was nothing new, he always thought it was just his subconsciousness telling him how he really thought, it really didn't effect him, in fact, after all these years, he had learned to pretty much ignore it without a problem, only once in awhile had it ever posed even a slight problem.
"In response, I guess I can say that if you ever have a problem with a student, send him or her hear, and I'll deal with it." He said in that same tone he seemed to always carry, the empty words simply being a response to her 'shameless plug' as she put it.

Cassandra raised an eyebrow. "A real doctor?" She folded her arms and shook her head as she casually reached into her pocket and pulled out her needle - already threaded - and stared at it for a moment, smirking as her gaze shifted across towards Tatsumi. "Oh, but I am a real doctor. Just because I don't go around wearing a white coat, writing in terrible handwriting and acting pretentious doesn't mean that I'm not a doctor." She flicked her needle up in the air, catching it and staring him dead in the eyes with a grin. "Don't be so quick to judge on appearances." She said, slipping her needle into her pocket. Many had been foolish enough to judge her on her appearance - and many had ended up with an incorrect number of limbs as a result. She could tell already that she was going to have some fun with this one.
She stood up, and turned to head towards the door, before stopping, and walking back over to him. "Oh, and by the way, there's an insect around here - if you see it, try and squish it. It's a really tiny little black fly thing, but it leaves insect bites like you wouldn't imagine." She rolled up her sleeve - implanting herself with one of her own cysts as she did so - to reveal what did, indeed look like an insect bite. "Really itchy it is, too - so just watch yourself. I have a feeling there'll be a lot of people complaining about it." Oh, how right she would be. Lots and lots of people with the mysterious 'insect bite' would be absolutely perfect for her. 'Just imagine what I could do with the power to project thoughts and sounds into everyone's head in the entire school... you could perform the worlds most epic rick roll!'

His only response was a simple. "We'll see..." As he no longer even seemed to be looking at her, picking up the papers once more and casting his attention elsewhere, as if she wasn't worth his time anymore now. Truth was though, he still had himself tensed an on edge with someone else in his presence, after all, to him, everyone was his enemy. But he just made it seem like he wasn't paying any more attention anymore.
Cassandra seemed like the type who had more to her appearance, he could tell by her innuendos and the way she spoke that she had a high sense of pride and confidence, and he couldn't help but feel that there was more to her than what first appeared. He made sure to keep note of what he had noticed from her, and when she left, he would fill in any information and suspicions he had about her on his list. But for now, he just waited for her to leave; she was waiting his time as far as he was concerned. Not to mention the warning of some insect meant nothing to him. His body was numb, such things as warm and cold, pain, or any reactions to the outside of his body was completely gone, he wouldn't really notice if some insect bit him, nor would it itch. Though, he failed to realize what she was getting at, and once again dismissed her as if she was no more than an insect herself. "Now then... are you finished? I have more pressing matters to attend to, Doctor Byrde." His words never once carrying a sense of emotion, as if he was dead inside, he once again didn't seem to show any care in what he said, simply keeping his gaze elsewhere as he had hoped she would just leave already.
She was a pest...

Cassandra nodded very subtly. '..."more pressing matters"? Rather full of himself for a counselor.' However, she simply hid these feelings behind a smile as she nodded. "Nope, that's everything. Just wanted to introduce myself, really." She waved casually on her way out, taking one quick glance around the room. It was only then she realized. 'Oh, of course... he's just a human. He wouldn't know about me.' She chuckled quietly under her breath at her obvious mistake as she left. She wanted to find out what happened to Grundy last night.

A little while after Cassandra had left; Tatsumi was still in his office, writing a few last papers over his review in Negi's class. Aside from that though, he had another paper with Cassandra's full name on it. On it he had a whole page and a half of information on her, mostly from his opinions and observations he had during the short conversation with her. He felt he could write more, but he needed to find out a little bit more about the teacher first. But that can wait, he wasn't going to dive too deeply into the matters of a single person just yet, he felt he should observe and research a little about each and every student before making a decision on who was worth his time, and who was just another face in the crowd.
Putting his files away in a drawer, put carrying a few more papers on the inside of his jacket if he had to write anything while he was away from his office, he got up from his seat, tilting his neck to give it a firm crack, and made his way for the door. As he left, he still carried that strange case with him in his right, gloved hand while he locked the door behind him. Figuring the best spot would be to check the clubs since they were starting, and it would show him the potential of some of the students, he decided that to be his next destination. And fortunately, the Martial arts club was today from what he could tell, that seemed like something the more 'gifted' students might attend. So, that became his destination for now.[Tatsumi heads for The Chinese Martial arts club]
