Her home in the mountains, a lair in snow and ice and stone. Traps guard her entrance to anyone unwelcome, more traps guard her treasure. The dragon has immense amounts of treasure, being an older dragon and having had lots of time to gether such. She has returned to her lair because of the fact she chose to leave the clan upon learning about her daughter's supposid true heritage.
There is a chill, but a room is set aside that is warm for a guest or three should she chose to have one over she doesn't plan on eating later.

"So, shall we continue where we left off?" Legion jumped down off her back well before a proper landing, having recovered enough strength to return to a more or less normal day. The sins weren't just going to let their host die!

Once she touched down in her lair, where she was safer and could relax, she changed back to her humanoid form and started her story. "We can continue, yes." She relaxed against a wonderful pile of ice cubes.
"There was a time I was with a Rhennee man," she said. "We were together some time, and even the Vashra could not see past my disguise. Time was spent, I was known as flighty, never staying all the time, coming and going as I pleased, yet the Rhennee man still loved me, or at least claimed such. We had a child, a daughter."
"Rhennee are matriachal more than not, so our daughter was next in line to be Vashra. I could never be such, being an outsider, but through her I could. Could rule a powerful clan of Verbabonc," she said. "But her heart was born light, born to sing. She left when she was only ten years old to seek her own path. I had to let her go, or else give up my identiy if I had fought it. But I left when I realized that the Rhennee clan itself had tricked me."
"They were not only protected by other dragons, but their line was polluted by some Tome Dragon blood!" she exclaimed. "In a fury I left, but realized how my daughter's blood was tainted with two. That cannot be, all dragons look down against the muddling of the draconic bloodlines. So she...she must become a pure in her draconic blood, with my kind's blood or not at all! If I can make her blood pure white, my hold will be definite, and the clan will be mine, that power mine to command. You've seen my daughter...naive, gullible...easy to control."

"I wouldn't know, in battle you don't notice those traits all that much. Not that I had the time to speak with her. I was riddled with arrows pretty quickly... unless you rather her die..." He sighed, rolling his right shoulder, easing up a nerve killing shot from Sei. It wasn't her accuracy but dumb luck she managed to score the nerve of his right arm. Then again with so many arrows, it was bound to hit somewhere more than vital.
"So they were other dragons as well I see... but clearify me the Tome Dragon blood... It is bad?"

"That one child, Yuko, has the blood of gold dragons within her...and as you saw, there was a pureblood tome dragon...that stupid bard's master..." she growled.
"It is to me, stupid blood of a dragon of knowledge and magic, that's all they are, the most arcane oriented of all the dragons! Tome Dragons are not children of Tiamet, the mother of us...Chromatics," she said, puffing up with pride. "My white dragon bretherin are usually to stupid to think outside the box to acomplish goals of power, but I...I broke the norms, and I will have what I want."

"So it's just a blood feud. Lovely, lovely, lovely. Fine mess I've gotten myself into now." Another sigh, followed by a bit more stretching.
"I might not be the best of fathers, but... I learnt my fairshare of parenthood in my day. Are you really willing to use your daughter for your own goals? ...Lets face it, you're not going to live much longer at this rate. Even if you do manage to to take your daughter back, if she is that against it, she'll probably slaughter your bearly living self. No offence, but we're not getting her unscathed. I was already riddled with arrows."

"...its not just a mere blood feud," she said. "For my daughter to survive within this realm anytime she comes to visit...or if she returns to live here, her draconic blood needs to be one type, pure, not mixed. That...is what makes it so vital to purify...to have her choose a blood...there is a ritual to change her blood. I assume they are using it to make her blood pure in one way or another."
"Of course, I will not let my dreams be wasted. She wouldn't harm her mother...have you ever seen her hate someone? There's not a bone of that in her body," she said easily.

"It's more trouble than its worth. At least it sounds as such." Legion shrugged hopelessly. He would not understand, nor cared to. This was something he would have rather not stepped into. Perhaps the Space-Time Witch's Hitzusen(sp?) was in effect once again.
"Hate... anyone? Dear me, I've only just met her today." His inner mind recalled the older Chris and their small duel. Lady, you have no idea. She could hate... Oh Legion was sure Chris knew how to hate. Were they thinking to the same degrees of hate? Probably not, but Legion was well versed in Wrath and its varying lower levels.
"Rest, we have work to do tommorow no? Do you have a libary of sorts here? I would like to take some time to do some research of our situation. The finer details left out due to poor memory."

"I don't have a library here but I know where one is, a good one too. I can take you there if you wish," she said. "But sleep would be good. I have need to recover much."

Sepherene Aimana "I don't have a library here but I know where one is, a good one too. I can take you there if you wish," she said. "But sleep would be good. I have need to recover much." " Then tommorow while you're gathering for your second attack. Drop me off there and pick me up when you're ready. Until then, good night." They never spoke of accomodations, but after a while of minor exploration he found the guest room, or so he guessed from the unusual warmth compared to the rest of the lair. Bed time is nao.

The second attack woudn't be for a while, it would take some time for her to prepare...and when Chris was in the Rhennee camp...the Vashra was strongest. She didn't want to end things before they'd begun. She had her plan.
"I shall come morning," she said. "Whatever the library could tell you I suppose." She shrugged. "Night." She had no clue what he'd find, but hey, at the least he could.

Legion couldn't sleep all that well. He spent his resting time much like an elf would, giving himself four free hours to contemplate his navel.
No seriously, what else was he going to do?
"White dragons... Ice... Gold dragons... Fire and weakening... That tome dragon was silver... Ice... and Paralysis. The man that guards the daughter... lightning... and fire seems to be the the bread and butter of the rest of the group.
So the archer and the factory are my greatest threats. By no means could they kill me... but there is no way to defend myself from those attacks.
My mana is low... I guess I took more damage than expected, but my spell arsenal isn't bound to this world. I can try a few other things.
Huh... I should have known things would turn out like this. Another pawn in a game of chess... and heaven knows I'm horrible at the game. Evil is as evil does."
Legion spent the rest of the night going in circles in both body and mind. He wore a slight groove into the floor by accident that way. When she had come to leave him at the libary he could only ask one simple question, "The blood purifying ritual will likely begin today or tomorrow... and I do not know how long the ritual will last... but if her blood is pure of the other blood rather than yours... What left is there to do?"

"They won't be able to do the ritual just yet," she said, not going into more detail. Her eyes flashed. "I can still...use her...it just wouldn't be the same...it would be more powerful if she were of my blood. Tiamet would smile upon that."
"Are you ready to go? I will be flying you to the outskirts of Verbabonc City, the library there should suit your needs," she said. "For whatever research you think will help."

"... Tiamet is still alive? Thought I killed her... Of course another realm, another time, another dimension. Do dragons die from old age?" Legion shook his head and shrugged. "Nevermind. It's rude to ask a lady her age. I am ready when you are."
Sometimes it was hard to tell how much of what Legion ever said was bullshit... and how much was oddly true... in the most technical of senses.
