A place where trade and business is found for the traveler. Indeed a peaceful place that has no idea of what pain or suffering feels like.

Jin watches over the city from its roof tops, looking down upon creatures of different origins and people of all kinds. He wonders to himself if any among them were like him even in the slightest bit even though he knew this to be a very slim chance. He watched as he noticed that none of them seemed to have a care in the world, they were happy...unfortunately for him, Jin did not know such happyness or what it even ment. "Regardless of their splended lives.....I only hope that they serve a higher purpose other than simply living them out....but then I suppose that is the way of the norm. Simply live life"

After a few more minutes of walking, Sky, Moon, and Deus finally reached the village. The feeling this village was kind, and it put a smile on Sky's face. "Nice place. Seems peaceful..." Deus said. Sky nodded in agreement.

Moon looked around the village after entering, it truly was peacefully. It felt so peaceful Moon wonder if it all was just a facade, she couldn't believe a place like this could exist with all the turmoil and tension surrounding it. Her mental guard felt like relaxing, but Moon just couldn't relax it was so unreal.
"We're here?"

"Yep." Deus said simply. As Sky looked around, he saw various stands and shops. Unfortunately he had no money, so he couldn't buy anything, but he saw nothing of interest in these shops anyway.

"Hmmmm, everyone looks so . . . normal."
Moon felt she would definitely stand out in a crowd with cat ears and two tails. She didn't want attention so closing her eyes and gritting her teeth she pretty much just sucked in her tails and ears back into her body. If this was too much of a nusiance to keep up she would just change back, no harm no foul. Looking at the different vendors her eyes caught some of the shiny jewels. This might be a hard place to walk through without trying to take something.
"So, since we're here. Where would you guys like to go to?"

"Dunno." Deus said simply. He looked around, but nothing seemed interesting to him. "What about you, Sky?" He asked, turning to his companion. Sky shrugged as he continued to walk. Nothing interested Sky either.

They were in a village and nothing interested them? Well maybe it was just her then, but being around so many people made her want to visit everything. Moon walked with them looking to see what was there, then something caught her eye and it wasn't shiny. Letting out a small gasp she pointed to a store and started to jump up and down like a little kid.
"It's . . . It's a bookstore!"
This was exciting for her, she still loved to read and she hadn't read anything new in forever. This was also one way to satisfiy her curiousity about things.

Moon nodded vigorously at Deus, after that she bolted for the store. Upon entering she noticed how the walls were just lined with so many different books, there wasn't a piece of wall to show through. To her left was a counter where a small woman in her 70s watched over the store and the books. Moon ignored her though and went straight to the fantasy stories, she wanted knowledge but at the moment she just needed a good story with a happy ending. The old woman glared slightly at Moon for running into the store so frantically, but her attention turned to Sky and Deus. She just gave them an odd stare not really sure quite what to think about them. As long as neither of them tried to hurt any of the books she wouldn't care.

Sky and Deus walked further into the bookstore, not noticing the old woman's glare. After a little while of walking, Deus stopped Sky. "Hey." He whispered. "Look over there." Deus pointed to a magazine on the shelf. Sky pulled it out, revealing that it was a dirty magazine. Sky couldn't help but smile. The two of them were out of the old woman's sight, and Sky began to read it. The two of them snickered a little.

The old woman continued to watch Sky and Deus until they were out of sight. Still she knew this store by heart and she knew what section they were in. She made a slight scoff and a 'hmph' sound, if it wasn't for her husband she wouldn't carry those dreadful things. Why did her husband care? She was going to have to take it up with him, for now she busied herself with cleaning.
Moon on the other hand was engrossed in looking over all the different books. She loved reading the stories about Knights and Wizards, even if they did get redundant. Picking up a couple books she was tempted to buy them, one was old and battered but it contained a story about a thief. Those were always a good read, but her thoughts were interupted upon hearing some snickering. It was hard to hear having her cat ears inside her so she gave up on the charade, if they were ok with Sky and Deus they'd be ok with a cat person right? So she concentrated and let her tails and ears out only to hear the snickering much clearer.
Now she was curious, Moon had to see what the two were snickering about. Maybe it was a comedy, she hadn't read one yet but she wanted too. It took her a few minutes to navigate the store and find Sky and Deus. Then she peaked over their shoulder.
"Did you find a good book already? You're quick . . . "
Moon stopped in mid sentence and turned red seeing the magazine, it wasn't a funny book after all. Now she felt embarassed for even looking, in her head it made her roll her eyes and thing 'Men . . . '.
"I'll go back to the other books . . . "
She scurried off back to her section faster than she had found the two and accidently knocking off a few books with her tails.
The woman heard the books hitting the floor, for an old coot she had fairly decent hearing.
"Ahem! You need to pick those up missy!"
Sadly she was a cranky old coot too since her husband went drinking all the time.

Sky and Deus quickly fumbled with the magazine once they heard Moon's voice, attempting to put it away, but it was unfortunately too late. The both of them were somewhat embarrassed, but as soon as she left, they picked another and began to read it. "Okay, this time we don't laugh..." Deus whispered. Sky gave a thumbs-up in agreement.

Jin looked towards the two who had just entered the village, they stood out rather easily for their dress was much different in comparison to others around. Jin thought to himself as he raised a brow and decided to get a better look. He simply jumped across one roof to another until he was to get as close as comfertable and sat on the roof unnoticed and out of sight.

Hearing the old woman yell at her she went and picked up the books before reaching her section of good books. After a few more minutes of looking she grabbed two more fictional story books that looked promising and a book on herbs for healing and cooking. Going up to the counter to meet the lady was not a good thing for her, still she had the gold and she wanted these books. Setting down her four books she tried smiling at the lady trying to be polite. She wasn't aware that she, Sky, and Deus were being watched by not only this woman but someone outside the store.
"I would like these books please."
Reaching into her pocket Moon pulled out a purse and set down some gold coins on the counter, that would be enough. The lady looked disgusted at Moon, still she was a customer so she smiled wryly at her doing her best to be polite. Looking at the coins she was satisfied, this was enough for those books.
"Thank you, do come again."
She snorted at this prospect, but still if it brought her money she didn't care. Moon still felt uneasy but she took the books in her arms cradeling them like babies. She loved books.
"Thank you."
Then she went over to find Sky and Deus to tell them she had found her books that she was looking for and was done.
"I'm done here, are you?"
She didn't even get close to them while they were reading, instead her eyes looked at the ceiling. One thing she didn't want to look at that was that magazine.
