Howdy, I'm just posting this to warn anyone interested in reading my fanfic (not yet put into motion yet but will be soon) that centers around Kazuma's grandfather's life.

Of course, for those who don't know (why would you be here if you don't know who he is) Kazuma Sohma's grandfather was the Cat before Kyo. Since his name is unknown throughout the whole series, I will be granting him the name Kazuo Sohma.

Right now, everyone should know he was confined so this is not going to be one of those mushy happy ending cliche stories (for the most part ^^).

Now, I'm sort of confused on how the whole thing goes out, I know there were always members missing (1 or 2) from the zodiac each generation until Fruits Basket's storyline is set into motion, so there will be a member missing (who you will find out when you read).

A little summary...

Toshi wasn't born rich, heck she was a girl and as old-fashioned as it is, tradition rules all and her never-satisfied father attempts to hitch her with the finest suitors he can find. Thing is, once it gets through her head she can be in control of her own person once she puts her mind to it something snaps and her temper goes haywire.

Kazuo the Cat of the Sohma family curse, isn't exactly a calm individual either, in fact, he's scarily similar to the Kyo we met at the beginning of Fruits Basket.

Because of a 1-in-a-million coincidence they meet and all Hell breaks loose! Of course, not literally.

Sometime after their fight they part ways, in a way to get back at her father (and to avoid further dates with wealthy gits) she takes up a part-time job at a Sohma restaurant that's terribly close to their Estate....
