Personally i believe the animal based demons are the best, they, provide the most variety and seemed to entertain both the desire for the demon element but add something we're all familiar with

But for rping purposes i think a demon of your own making is best, basing it off an animal take most of the work away and making your own abilitys makes the character more you.

I like animal demons, I really don't know why. But I love it when two animals are put together.

those are some of the best in my opinion, i enjoy games where it gives teh user a little freedom in that department
