What's this shinangins? You may be asking yourself.
Well, it's a guild, solely for the purpose of A)Finding out what house you beling in and B)Participating in games and events to rack up House Points, to kick the other houses butts!
You start out by filling out the sorting hat form in the Great Hall Subforum, and posting it as a new topic in said forum. People will vote on what house they believe you belong in. After a couple of days you will be stamped a certain house.
After you have been stamped you may begin participating in games and other events around the guild in order to gain house points! Which ever house has gained the most points by the end of the month wins the House Cup.

Main Forum:
The Main Forum is for discussion of everything Potter Related. The Books, The Movies, Hogwarts. Note: Excessive fangirlyness is quite annoying.
Rules + About - You are here. (In case you were confused.) This Announcement should tell you all you need to know about what this guild is about. If it doesn't, send me - Dragoste Moon - a PM about any questions you may have.
Point Report - This thread is for all Mods, and Professors to report any points that they give out for games and classes. This should have the current tally of House Points, as well as points that individuals have gained. If you know you have gained points that have not showed up on the list. Please let whomever gave you the points know that the list has not been updated. This thread will also have the archive of which houses have won which months.
Roll Call - This thread is very important. Why, you ask? At the beginning of each month, I will ask for a roll call. I will list all members who have answered the roll call on the Original Post for the current month. You have the entire month to answer the roll call. If, by the end of the month you have not answered the roll call, you will be removed from the the guild! If you have been removed from the list, you simply have to request to join again when you want back in. The reason for this is simple. Only those those that have answered Roll Call may gain points.
Affiliates - Self explanatory, this is a thread for us to list the other guilds we affiliate with.
Off Topic Chat - Also self explanatory, a thread to talk about things not related to Harry Potter. *Gasp*
The Great Hall:
The Great Hall is the focus of the Guild. This forum is where your Sorting Hat is located!
Sorting How-To - This is where all your sorting information is held. Your sorting rules, and your sorting form. Read over it well.
The Grounds:
The Grounds is your place for Roleplay, because what is a Harry Potter Guild without roleplay? I mean, honestly?
Rules of Roleplay - Simply put, this announcement lets you know what the forum is about, and how to act once you are there!
OOC - This is your place to plan your roleplay, or advertise it and get people interested in getting in on it. And you can just chat out of character about the roleplay in general. Although regular completely off topic chat should go in the Off-Topic Chat thread in the main forum!
The Classrooms:
This subforum is for, you guessed it: Classes! This is where professors will post the lessons each month, and students will do the homework assignments. This subforum is one of the three main point gaining forums!
About Classes - This thread will explain how classes will work both to the students and to the professors.
Hiring - When this this thread is announced that means the Guild is hiring professors. There are twelve classes, and I'd like to have twelve professors at all times. If we are hiring that means we are short at least one. So take a look at the hiring information, and give it a try!
Lessons - There will be -hopefully- twelve lessons stickied, one for each of the classes! The stickied lessons are the latest for the month we are in! Give them a try and get your House some Points!
The Quidditch Pitch
The Quidditch Pitch is your place for games, another of the big subforums for accumulating points.
About/Rules for Games - The is just a simple post about how the games work.
Games - The current games will be stickied so that they remain at the top of the list, all the games last one month, and have specific rules for you to play. I will try to have about 6 or 7 games each month.
Hogsmeade!
Hogsmeade, oh Hogsmeade, what a wonderful place! Hogsmeade will be locked to non-crew at all times, except during special events. Every other month or so. The Events will be different, but they will be very fun! And this will be a time to collect major points. When Hogsmeade opens, it will remain open for one week!
