Just like it was named, the suicide hill is where banished men, suicidal maniacs, and executioners go to end their life or someone else's life. It is said that a long time ago, a huge war took place upon this cliff. When one army surrendered, the other army threw the remaining troops and all the corpses from the other army off the cliff. The rocks at the bottom of the cliff are now colored a permanent bloody red. It is even said that the souls of those who committed suicide appear at he edge of the cliff at midnight where they haunt victims who show up into committing suicide. A perfect place for a battle to the death.

Ace approached the edge of the cliff to stare down at the crashing waters and reminisce about his past. He sat down and kicked his legs back and forth on the edge thinking of what he has done in his time. He wished to see his parents again, but they left him as a child so that he may live. Their appearance probably changed by a whole lot seeing how it's been more than twenty years since he ever saw them. He twirled a small flame in his hand thinking he could see his past inside the fire. He looked down back to the bottom of the cliff and he was able to see the red rocks behind the waves. "I don't even know why I came here anymore." Ace said to himself throwing his arms in the air and falling down on his back. "I'm not here to kill myself, so why did I bring myself here, to the cliff of Suicide?" He said speaking superstitiously.

Not far out in the deep waters could almost be seen the form of Adrina. She swam through the water quickly, coming up every so often to check where she was. Finally she could see land, she'd been swimming all night, and though that wouldn't normally bother her, she was starting to become tired from her lack of sleep. Another dip under the water and soon she was back up. She was close to the bloody rocks now and she wrinkled her nose at the bloody rocks. She would have made a comment, but instead she noticed leg's peeking out from the edge of the cliff.
Frowning she wondered what that was. It was rather hard to see, but after a moment she became curious, was that a person? Were they dead? Did they need help? She shivered, goosebumps rising on the back of her neck.

It was hard to tell, but Ace thought he saw a figure in the water. It wasn't unlikely though, you can usually see skeletons trapped inside the rocks going loose and into the waters, but this time he thought it was actually a person. He picked his legs up and then laid down onto his stomach to get a better view of the person. It was still hard to see at the top of the cliff, but with the change in position it made it easier to see that it was a person. "It's probably dead, if she came from the sea, the waves would have most likely crashed it into the rocks... or it's just another dead corpse recently committed suicide." Ace theorized. The wind picked up a little and Ace grabbed onto his hat so it wouldn't fall off into the water. He picked himself off of his stomach and stood at the edge of the cliff, making sure he didn't lean forward to much so he didn't fall.

Adrina watched the man quietly, and swam a little closer towards the cliff there looking up at the man. She saw him change positions and considered yelling up too him, had he noticed her? Was that what he was looking at? When the man stood up Adrina's breath caught in her throat, was he going to jump?
Deciding that letting him jump was probably a bad thing she waved her arms, "Hey! Don't jump! It's not worth it!" Her melodic voice, she hoped would carry much like her mermaid song would.

Ace heard the echo of a voice down below... "That person's alive?" Ace asked himself. Ace tried to get a closer look and leaned a little more forward to get a better view, and he was able to clearly see the girl down at the bottom. "Are you crazy, I'm not gonna jump. How'd you get down there in the first place!!!" Ace Yelled down back to her.

"I'm crazy!? You're the one standing at the edge of a cliff!" She yelled back. Pausing a moment she wondered how safe that man was standing that close to the edge, she considered a moment, if he fell, is she'd be able to catch him? She shook her head and realized he'd asked her a question. "I swam here!" She yelled her response.

Ace decided to toy with her a little by jumping. Ace bent his legs to do a few squats, and then leaped high into the air and began a nose dive right into the rocks. It felt almost like sky diving, seeing how high he was from the water, it took a few seconds before he was halfway to the bottom. With precision timing, Ace held his arms out and his arms began to glow a fiery red, and shortly after fire began to burst from his arms like a rocket. the fire shot all the way to the rocks at the bottom as his fall began to slow down more and more. Ace assumed he was low enough to the ground as he shut off the fireworks and landed on the top of the rocks. Ace began to shake his arms to get the smoke out of his face and sat down on the ash and soot his fire created. Ace was just glad the soot was black and so were his pants. "Well that was fun, I have to do jumping like that more often.... I'm sorry, I couldn't hear ya from up there, what were you saying?" Ace asked hysterically.

Adrina stared and watched as the man jumped, she began to panic, she couldn't catch him, her mind started to go over all sorts of ways to save him and then she saw the first spark of fire and stared. After all was said and done and the man was closer, comfortably sitting on the rock she swam over.
"Why did you do that?! I almost had a heart attack!" She squealed unhappily, frowning at the man. Then she pouted visibly, "And I said..I swam here," she was still pouting, as she floated close to where he was.

"And you say I'm crazy, I just came to the cliff to enjoy the view, and your saying you swam here? Where the heck did you come from?" Ace asked curiously. Ace was close enough to her to offer her a hand, so he held his hand out to help her out of the water.

Adrina looked over her shoulder back out to the ocean and then looked back to Ace. She took the hand offered to her and swung herself up, her mermaid tail long enough to still touch the water by the tip.
"From my home," she giggled, "It's hard to explain where I'm from." She smiled at him, her tail swishing in the water.

When she was in the water, he wasn't able to tell that she was a mermaid. Ace thought she was just lazy and he had to pull her salt watered self up by himself, but then he saw the excuse. Ace was a little in shock, but he came to his composure and had to ask questions. " Just let me know one thing, your going to have human legs right? I've read some book about mermaids and somewhere it said something about mermaids that can live on sea and land, are you one of those mermaids?" Ace asked her trying to dry off the hand she picked her up with.

She looked over to him as he asked her the question and she let out a small harmonious laugh. "Does my tail bother you?" She asked delicately and then nodded, "..But yes, I have human legs when I choose too." Though since she'd just gotten out of the water, she hadn't really found a reason to use them yet.

"No, no, mermaids are cool." Ace said. "Well, it looks like it's going to take awhile to climb up this cliff, so I guess there's enough time for you to explain where you were coming from." He said referring to his question from before.
