So I'm taking my sister with me, and she is 11 so i did not purchase her a badge. I emailed the con offices to make sure she would be able to get a badge when I picked up mine and they said yes. I am afraid they will question her age, because like all the women in my family she has developed early and like everyone but me and my mom shes pretty tall. has any one ever taken a child? do they give you a hard time? should I have her birth certificate?

I've never taken a child before, but it probably couldn't hurt to have a little proof. If not a birth certificate, maybe a school ID if she has one?

You sound well prepared. ^_^ And good idea bringing a copy of the email. With an event that big, not everyone knows what to do in some situations.

You should be fine. I usually forget my ID when I pick up my badge, and I've never had anyone give me any trouble about it.
