An Enormous library, their are sages everywhere with cold lamp crystals, reading, translating, and writing.

Elizabeth was sitting at a large oak table in the library, light danced upon the table top from a large window, she was reading a thick tome of conjuring. Across from her sat her brother, Chorus, he was playing with his artifacing magic by imbuing their daggers so they would not break or shatter. He was being very careful so he wouldn't mess up. He was so focused he didn't even notice the stack of books that his sister had balanced on his head. Once in a while she would look up from the tome she was reading and try not to giggle too loudly,"In such serious times it is good to have some light hearted joy... *sigh* It is only a shame that such peaceful moments cannot last an eternity." Elizabeth thought to herself contently.

Cromy walked in consciously making sure her staff did not hit or scrape the floor. She started walking through the tall bookshelves, admiring the amount of books and still wondering how all of it had been almost exclusively been written in he last thousand years. She cursed the noble-dead yet again for the destruction they had brought upon those ancient writing that were now lose(sigh i cant think of the spelling) forever. After passing through the section on magic for the third time she wandered about hoping someone had forgotten to put the tomb back. Upon finding the boy with a stack of books on his head, one of which was the one she looked for, she slowly lifted them all off his head, took the one from the bottom and replaced them gently. she stifled a giggle before sitting next to Elizabeth. "is your brother always this serious?" she whispered into the girls ear, stifling another giggle

"I'm afraid so" Elizabeth says jokingly in a whisper "He probably thinks that if he doesn't put all of his attention into it his work will explode in his face." Chorus keeps toiling away then starts to look as though he is about to sneeze, "Ah-ah-ah-achoo!!" and then the books on his head come tumbling down, they partially bury him in their size and number. "Owwww" Chorus grumbles "What happened? Where'd those books come from?"

cromy giggled until it hurt. "im not quite sure... i guess we will never know" she answered with a shrug. she leaned her staff against the oak table then set the book she had taken in front of her before reaching over and rubbing the cold lamp crystal before opening the book and scanning through "so what were you trying to do, if i may ask?" she traced the lines with her finger at a rapid pace, passing almost 10 pages in a minute.

"Me?" Chorus asked, digging his way from under the books that fell on top of him, "I was trying to make these daggers unbreakable, I guess I'll have to start over now though." "I'm learning new sigels for my conjuring" Elizabeth said happily pointing one out in particular, "I've got my mind set on learning this one, It will allow me to call forth a wall of elemental protection." Chorus handed Elizabeth's dagger back to her "I'll finish this project another time sis" he said, then started picking up the fallen books. Elizabeth puts down her tome and quickly helps him gather the books up.

she looked up, brushing her long dark green hair behind pointed ears. her dark green eyes focused upon the two "what are you two preparing for?" she had a feeling she already knew the answer, the real question was whether she should be happy about the prospect of possible partners, or dread the thought that even more were going to risk their lives, especially ones this young.

"There is feeling of dread looming around every corridor these days" Chorus says sadly "We just want to be ready in case the something attacks our guild, we don't want to, but if we must fight we will be ready at least!" He says this last part with more confidence. Elizabeth nods her head in agreement "I can sense it, something dark in the near future, it threatens to end our fleeting peace, but I don't intend to allow what history and knowledge remaining to us be destroyed."

cromy nodded quite relieved. "for a second i thought you said you were planning on being hunters, that would have been quite distressing." she said before thinking anyhow, if you want help with any magic id be more then willing to lend a helping hand" she stood up placing her book back on the boys head.

Chorus started working again ignoring the book on his head. Elizabeth took the other books and returned them to the shelves. She then returned to her tome and said to Cromy "I'd like it if we could practice together some time my skills can always use improving." with that said she went back to studying her tome.

"im not sure that would be much help. im have no physical prowess, and most of my spells are for healing. and the staff is a one shot thing, and only works against... a certain type of enemy." she explained with a shrug.

"Ah, I'm sorry" Elizabeth said ",but its good to know someone who focuses on healing in such dangerous times." Chorus was near finishing his enchanting and the knifes began to glow with the mystic runes he inscribed into it.

"See ya" Elizabeth calls out to Cromy, then just as she finished speaking Chorus finished his enchantmment he cried out as the excess energy exploded in a burst of light. As the light cleared the two had disappeared from the room.

Elizabeth and Chorus reappear in the Library among the bookselves. "We're back, thank goodness" Chorus exclaims ",though you didn't have to swat my bug you know." "You are so easily distracted!" Elizabeth complains. "hm..." Chorus is already looking for an entomology book to look up his lost bug.
