First I'll tell you why I'm here (standing on this box). July 2nd just so happens to mark my fifth year here on Gaia and I figured I needed to celebrate with something big. So I took a bunch of random ideas and put them together to make this! *she waves her hand over to the large area behind her filled food, drinks, music, and, of course, plenty of art* Yes, my point here is to give out free art to you people~ But there are a few rules you need to follow... If you don't follow [them then no there will be no partying for you.

- ♥ Do NOT, under any circumstances, just ask for free art. That's not how it works. I will pick who I want to draw when I want to draw them. Hanging around and partying will give you a much better chance to get something.
♥ Do NOT steal my art (or anyone elses)...because every artist needs to say this now-a-days. I've not had trouble with this before but I certainly don't want it to start.
♥ Do NOT whine or complain about not receiving any art (or not winning one of the contests). I'm a working girl and can't be online all the time any more. I want to enjoy my celebration, not spend the whole thing drawing-drawing-drawing.
♥ Party hard but play nice! Don't pick fights in my thread, make rude comments, or anything just plain unnecessary. It's not needed and if you can't control yourself, you will be escorted out.

To make this most easy on me (and quick for you) I will be doing colored and non-colored pencil or pen headshots. If I'm really loving your avatar (or you've stuck around for a good long time) you may get a chibi. Don't try to push your luck though. Hinting at getting art or buttering me up doesn't work. Also! If you missed seeing your art posted in the thread then check back here. I'll update this post with new art when I can.

You can also draw me this: click. Or you can draw me a completely original outfit! I love the Gothic Lolita fashion as well as anything fantasy related. But her color selection is basically limited to white and gold (though rarely with orange and red as well). Please stick to that. I only ask a couple of things: Sunray is thin but curvy with long golden hair that reaches past her waist but is above her knees. It's parted on the left with long strands framing her face. Her eyes are an amber or orange color but can also be the pupil-less pale blue eyes (like in the banners). She always wears a crystal pendent, wearing on a chain or choker, and always had a golden sun symbol on her forehead. Also, she always has three earrings in each ear, small gold hoops, whether she's in elven form or catgirl form (she is -always- an elf or catgirl, nothing else!). When in catgirl form, her ears and tail are white, the tail with thin gold stripes going down, both ears and tail tipped with white. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

- *next to the photo album is a large notebook filled with writing and drawings* I found out about Gaia through another site (like so many others did back then) called Clan Bob. Sadly, the site and webcomic no longer exist. Anyway, I had caught a post one of the artists had made (no, I won't mention said person's name) along with their avatar which wore the Angelic Halo. My first thought was "I want a halo too!" and thus clicked the link and started my journey. I was never a noob and did what a smart person would: I read all the stickies and I searches for the answers to my questions rather than depended on others to hand them to me. I didn't figure out donation items (now monthly collectables) until I won an auction for ports for 2.7k (yeah, you heard me, 2.7k) and even then I only wanted them because I had a pair of real ports. The minis really started my collecting and the angelic ones are still my all time favorite. My first quest item was bunny slippers which I won't went for because a friend pushed me to. I'm not regretting it at all and I got them for a little under 100k on Oct. 28th, 2003. Since then I've been collecting all the MCs and event items save for a few from 03 that I can never possibly get my hards on now, including the Halo that made me join (I cry). The first place I started posting in was called the Catgirl Adoption Home (which I now own and run). I met a lot of awesome and not-so-awesome people there, some of which I'm still friends with. But being a RP thread, it came with a lot of drama and headaches. From there I branched out to lurking the GD, Q&A, Barton Town, GCD, and Minishops. I don't lurk the GD anymore and rarely Barton and Q&A. Apart from the CAH, I hang out in (at the moment) two art shops (one being my own) and two minishops (one that's been closed for too long). I've had my share of ups and downs with Gaia and some of the people that I've met but it was all part of the experience that kept me coming back. I'm not well-known but I'm know enough by people that matter to me and that's what's important. (I also used to have a Gaia family but not anymore. ;-; I miss having siblings and stuff... I even did the Gaia marriage thing and that was a blast. <3 I wanna do it again...)

- *another notebook sits next the first, also opened to be read*Well, for started, my real name is Beverly though some people tend to shorten it. I'm ok with that. I'll be 23 in about a month and no, I'm not too old for Gaia. I graduated from a four-year college in May '07 with a BA in art...so yes, I can do lots more than just anime and chibis. I've lived in NC most of my life though I'm currently in VA. I'll be moving back to NC in the future, I'm sure. My job is that of a cashier and bagger at Kroger at the current time (don't be jealous). I'm currently engaged to the one and only boyfriend I've ever had (that I met online) and have been with him over eight years now...so yes, it -can- work. Um, I'm a really quiet girl woman who hates talking on the phone. Face to face, I'm not so bad, but I tend to get easily flustered and turn my words around. I tend to hang out with mainly guys but my best friend is a girl...she's just far away from me right now. I'm mainly a cat person (two back home) but I like dogs too (living with one right now). I can be easily distracted and love little cute shiny things. I'm a packrat with no shame and love to collect odd little things...just because I can. RPing is a passion of mine...when I can get my brain working. I do post-type, tabletop, and video game versions. So yeah...that's basically me. I'm sure I left stuff out but I'm also sure you don't care that much. XD
