Tyrent growled. He would Kill caffe... no,he would torture her... then kill her...OR better yet yet her live with the pain... What could she have been thinking...
looking around the room he found his dagger and put it in his belt along with his spurs which clinked together if her walked too slow... he nodded. This was the beginning of the end for him... He could feel his life flying away. He laughed lightly... Would this girl...this teenage girl... be a good soul partner... he doubted it...
He planed to stay unattached forever... apparently caffe didn't like that idea.... He read over the note one more time. Had they even told the girl about it... She had to be scared witless... a small teen being paired with a warrior of his strength... She was likely to faint...
With that pleasant idea set in his mind her crossed his arms and walked out of the room... First to find caffe and straighten all this out...he wouldn't be attached to some slip of a girl who was probably dreaming after some one else...
Walking down the stairs the spurs clinking he clenched the paper in his fist... "CAFFE" HE bellowed. The room went silent... anyone that was there to witness how he became snake like...shuddered lightly. He smiled and looked around..."Has anyone seen caffe" they pointed... he followed the pointed fingers into the kitchen and growled. "Caffe what the hell is this about.." he held up the crumpled papers...
Caffe looked confused for a moment then smiled "Oh i thought it was high time you found yourself someone... your too grumpy... so i asked umi if Reesha would be willing... and she said ok... so those are your betrothed papers... well something lik4e it anyway... Ask Zara its perfectly acceptable... and well of course you need to have some time to fall in love and what not but...i think she is perfect for you.... You will love her... She is just darling.."
Tyrent nearly went through the roof. "Im not even part of the clan goyals...."Caffe simply smiled
"You wll be... on the day of Reesha's birthday growth spurty thing..." she smiled... "In my note it said you should go meet her by the front steps... I bet she is there now...waiting.." she smiled... "Be nice Tyrent... its good for you..."
Tyrernt simply snarled and turned to walk toward the front of the castle... Was she fat... ugly... mis-figured... anything that she would be roped into this... He growled to himself as he stormed through the door. "Ill kill thm both... Umi and Caffe..." The bluster went out of him though as his eyes hit a goyal he hadnt seen before. HE offered a smile and nodded his head standing there looking around. He turned to the small goyal standing there and said lightly. "Hello have you seen a goyal named Reesha?..."

The young girl sat on the steps, still confused about everything that was going on. One minute she had been playing with her brother around the lake and the next Umi was taking her to clean up for a date. Reesha sat there, waiting.. More confused than ever.
She took a moment to reflect on how she had managed to get there, only coming up with one word. Umi.. The female sighed, she'd have to get back at her later. She wasn't ready for love yet.. At least she didn't think she was..
A soft gasp escaped her lips as Tyrent spoke, turning around quickly with a blush. "R-Reesha?" The female pondered for a moment saying it wasn't her, but then, he looked so.. She couldn't think of the word. "Are you Tyrent?" She asked, still blushing.

Tyrent felt his heart turn over. "So you are Reesha?" This could be worse. THe thought was in his head before he could stop it. Alright./... he would play along. "Yes...im tyrent... quick question...."He didnt want to startle her by any means but still... "Um...How much...and what has Umi told you about..." He waved his hands "This...." he indicated them.
"Just so i know if im getting back at both caffe and umi or just caffe."He smiled. Thinking about it he handed her the note... then readied himself to catch a fainting girl."Look like anything you were previously told?"
The note read:
Tyrent,
I know its hard for you to open up to people and that it isnt your strong spot when it comes to young ladies... so i have taken it upon myself to find the perfect girl for you.
She is young but isnt what you would call weak... well... from what i can tell. Im sure you will like her tyrent. I feel its time you got your head out of training and started to work on your personal life... being a warrior will always be there... but your prime is now... Live a little...
That said i have set it up with Umi that you and reesha will be soul-partners... While you may think to just brush it off and say nay to it... you have to think again.... Its all very binding...something like betrothing papers... so if weddings were something celebrated...consider yourself betrothed...
So...why not go meet her by the steps and take her to the picnic and enjoy yourself... It wont be long before you find yourself growing attached... if only because she is the first person to get past that shield... that is ...if you put it down...
love always, Caffe
He waited silently for a reaction. "If you dont want anything to do with me... i can understand...but...Caffe would have my hide if i just bailed on you." He offered a smile. "So how bout we go have a picnic... since caffe set it up..."

"Umi said it was a date.. Nothing else.." Came her reply, still blushing.
Gently taking the note, reading it quickly, Reesha giggled. "We're engaged?" The entire idea was laughable at best to her, not worth her time to faint. She had never done so before anyways.
"At least we're not horribly deformed." The female smiled, having noticed the snake-like traits he had. "I know why you were paired.. But why did they pick me?" This much she was confused on, but truly no more.
A small curtsy and a nod came as her reply to his offer of a picnic. "It would be a shame if we let her hard work go to waste"

He lifted an eyebrow at her and sighed. Sighing was something he tried not to do in public... "Your taking this all very well... " He frowned. "You dont even know me and your grinning ear to ea~"
She frowned, out of confusion yes... but Ty would ave given almost anyhting to see her smile come back..."Caffe picked you probably because... a you truely are beautiful" oh that wasnt supposed to come out..."And probably because caffe has an obsession of match making.... so she thought you were made of something tuff... because... not just anyone can be a warriors girl..."
He smiled...He was trying to flatter her.. he couldnt figure out why though...He almost laughed when she curtsied... "You dont have to be so formal..." he smiled "You will find out... " He smiled... Ten to one she would hate him by the end of the day... caffe would have to break it off then..."Ok..." He smiled placing his hand on her lower back to guide her... it was something he did for all women when he walked with them... but for one reason or another he didnt want to remove his hand... it felt good right where it was...
Thinking he was probably embarrassing her he removed his hand. "Its just a bit into the forest."

"Of course I'm taking it well.. They'll probably realize the error they made in trying to match two goyals together that haven't met before." Reesha giggled a bit, still blushing.
"I didn't think beauty had anything to do with it Tyrent." She teased, looking up at him. "Thank you though."
The female blushed a bit, looking away quickly. "Sorry. Habit." Reesha apologized, trying to hide her blush in her hair. Feeling his hand on her lower back Reesha turned deeper red, but somehow she felt no desire for it to leave.
"You didn't have to move your claw you know.." She was horribly red, but, she spoke the truth. "The forest? Picturesque isn't it?"

Tyrent was almost as red as Reesha. "I know... but its not proper..." He offered a smile and frowned when he saw her face covered in her hair. He laughed. Softly he pushed the hair from her face... "If i have to show everyone how embarrassed i am so do you..." He smirked and turned back to walking down the path.
Letting out a sigh he glanced back at the castle." Honestly i dont think caffe will care... She will make me stick with this betrothed thing...Its completely binding... Zara would have my head if i disrespected it." he nodded. "So your stuck with me...unless you tell caffe to bugger of"
He smiled and pulled back a low hanging branch so she could pass into the clearing. There was a checkered blanket set up for them to sit on with vegetables and a bit of sliced meat set out. Tyrent looked around and stripped from his armor...and his spurs. he kept his knife by his side though.
He sat down and picked up a carrot and watched the girl for a moment. She was different...something about her was...different...

"It's just a friendly gesture.. Nothing improper about it." Came her reply, blushing more when he moved the hair from her face. "Your hair could cover it too" she giggled slightly, looking up at him.
"Did you say Zara? As in the goddess?" She asked, intrigued. This would be interesting if he had meant her. "Even if I told Caffe to forget it Master Aldric would have my head for ignoring a chance at happiness."
Reesha's eyes grew wide, looking around. It truly was a nice clearing, and even more so with the picnic setting. She giggled a bit, a butterfly flitting across the area, the birds chirping. This at least, was quite nice.
"Oooo.. Makings for a salad~" She might have liked greens, but somehow a light chicken salad always made her hungry. "You're a vegetarian?" The female asked, having realized there was an unusual amount of vegetables for two people.

Tyrent smiled. It was nice to know she didnt mind a friendly touch. He pocketed that info and smiled. "Yes... and no..." He shook his head. "I eat alot of vegetables and a bit of meat... More veges then not though" He took another bite of carrot.
"And Yes...Zara...I was the main squad who rescued her... well... i think... everyone helped... but Aeitory...sam... myself...Kyire...Istas...Conan...I dont remember.... but we tortured the beast and found her... "He nodded"I felt honor bound.... It was pretty much just, I dont know...." He sighed"I still have yet to pledge myself but...im getting there..."
He looked at the vision in front of him. "By the sound of it....your with Aldric... They are siblings you know... but they are as different as yourself and me..." He puzzled over her next few words."Happiness?" boy wouldnt that be a nice change... He didnt want this kind of happiness... He wanted to be the strong warrior the one who saved the day and didnt stick around for the praise.... Not getting attached... He wasnt supposed to like it here...
"My sister would love you.... She was a romantic...much like yourself...if you think there can be happiness.. This is a constriction of wills..."He didnt know why but he had to know. "Your not in love with someone right? I dont see how you would be able to just give them up if you were...."
The moon glimmered through the branches dappling his bare shoulders. His chest was strong and had the white scars showing bright...

"Really?" She sounded a little shocked at this, having thought for sure he would have been a vegetarian. But then, she had only just met him, nothing should surprise her yet.
"Master Aldric and Zara have similar abilities from what he's told me of her. It's just like normal sibling rivalry when they start bickering." Reesha giggled, having caught wind of one of their fits while she was going to the kitchen on evening. "Happiness.. It's just his word for it.. I'd rather not be forced into a relationship if I'm not ready, but we've got no choice now." The female wrapped her arms under her legs, resting her chin on her knees. "You feel the same don't you?"
"Me?" A soft laugh escaped her lips. "No.. I've never had feelings for anyone before.." She glanced at him, eyes tracing his scars in the moonlight, taking in his appearance. He was breath taking in her opinion, though, she was sure that other girls had to think the same. "How about you?"

"Yup really..It keeps me fit..." He smiled lightly. "Aldric picks on her terribly... he has no mercy when it comes to her... but i guess she tries to give as good as she gets... Shes not one for fighting..."
He watched as her eyes skimmed his chest. Well... he would have been embarrassed but something told him it was ok for her to look at him with interest... "Happiness isn't the word i would use... " He sighed. That wasn't true...Caffe had picked well. He could get along really nicely with this goyal...
"As for my feelings....i'm actually a cold hearted beast of a goyal." he smiled the joke was on him so it was ok to laugh. "No...Ive never had feelings for anyone...Aside from Nephele...." He nodded. "My parents had a thing for mythology..."
Picking up a bit more food he nibbled on it lightly. "In my tribe... we didn't love... we reproduced to keep the tribe alive. We didn't know anyones name aside from our immediate family... " he lifted his gaze to hers... "And the one who we were to reproduce with once we grew to maturity." He lowered his gaze. "I left ... when i was told the name of my 'mate'... Madelyn... she was from the tribe over... and i couldn't stand her... "
He sighed. "But...enough about my life...what about you... If im to be with you...i would like to know what i'm sticking with." his tone was teasing.

"They're just brother and sister after all.. I'm sure almost all siblings do it." This of course said in reference to her own brother. They bickered quite often, though none of it was taken seriously.
She continued to gaze at his chest, shaking herself lightly to stop it. The female knew it wasn't right to stare, even if he was supposed to be hers now. Reesha blinked, looking back up at him once again. "What word would you use for it?"
Nephele.. That had to be someone close to him, if not relatives. "Nephele is your sister?" The girl asked, eyes fixed upon his own.
"That must have been horrible.. But then.. We're sort of doing the same thing now aren't we?" Her tone wasn't playful, sad, or anything, it was just speaking.
Her life.. The instant he mentioned it she blushed, looking down at her feet. "There's really not much to tell. I live with a goyal that I call my brother, Master Aldric found us wandering when we were little and took care of us for a while.. So we follow him as thanks for his kindness.. After that there's nothing else." Reesha thought her life was fine the way it was, but only when she said it aloud did she realize how dull it was.

tyrent felt like kicking himself. She was right...basically he was back in the tribe being sold off. "No..." HE shook his head. "I accepted this... if i didnt think there could be mutual friendship in the future i would just leave and move on..."He curled a finger under her chin. She was so tiny... he marvled at that fact for a moment then shook himself from his thoughts.
"Mutual friendship... Could you be content to be with me... it means giving up any relationship you may ever want to have... " He was trying to read her eyes her expression... anything... If she said no he would move hell and earth to break the contract....
He was so close to her. He could scent her and it made his mind cloud. He wasnt one to loose focus... Why did she affect him... He should hate her...and caffe and Umi... all of them... but he didnt... Bcause he couldnt block out these feelings...did it make him less of a warrior? no... he was still second best warrior in the Eternal Night Clan...
With that thought glued to his mind he lowered his head and kissed her softly... He pulled back after the barest touch. He watched her... "Do you think we can make this work?" He new she was young.. probably too young for him but...he needed to know. "Its a big decision... that needs careful thought..."he was rambling...was he feeling embarrassed by kissing her... he had kissed women before.... what made her different...

For some reason when his claw curled under her chin she didn't blush, though she was still deep red from earlier. "I'm still sitting here with you. That has to tell you something, if not you aren't good as good at reading others as you thought."
Looking at him, her eyes were blank, no emotion behind them other than the blush he caused so often. Nothing more. Not yet at least.
Reesha blushed more this time, surprised appearing on her face at the gentle touch of their lips. "With time.. I think we'll be more than just friends Tyrent.. Something is already there, we just need to nurture it for a while." The female smiled, touching a finger to his nose, "boop~"

He laughed. a barking rumble from his chest... She was so young...so innocent. "Yes...with time...." He shook his head and stood up lightly...a smile lightly placed on his face... he didnt smile... not nearly enough.
He looked over his shoulder at the teen. He was going to have a good get going if he aloud this... but he would never hear the end of it from ald... Oh he would come up with something... no longer interested in warriors... liking little children are you now.
The smile left his face and his features grew hard... and if that wasnt enough she followed him... That was enough to make him shudder... But it was only out of gratitude... maybe he could make her switch to Zara... Maybe...the thought fled his mind... It was impossible...Ald would throw a fit... or something would happen. He leaned against a tree glaring at Reesha... or more like glaring through her...
He knew as well as she did that there was a spark between them... Se would only get more beautiful... and that knowledge made Tyrent feel very possessive... He snarled lightly. He picked up his armor and donned it quickly. Covering himself the best he could. He placed his spurs back on...
He glanced at her..."Im sorry you had to be dragged into this...I cant do this... I cant get attached.... I cant love... And thats what everyone wants from me... i just... cant."
