So I had an essay to do, and my thesis was Electronic Dance Music is the most unique and diverse style of music there is.

I wrote most of it in class, using only the info in my head and one trip to Wikipedia to double check my thoughts...

I know next to nothing on House, Trance, Techno, and I think I may have messed up the definitions.

If there's anyone that could take a look at my essay, and point out any errors, I would greatly appreciate it.

I liked your essay. It was very informative. You were very objective and didn't show a preference for any particular style. Each genre was treated fairly. heart

While extremely biased, Ishkur's does have some good stuff on House, if nothing else.

Nice, you can also add in how Electroncia has made it into tons of mainstream stuff.

The band Aquaduct uses some Electronica, Trance styled synths. Hip-Hop in ways is based around House, and Linkin Park uses a DJ and all that stuff.

It's actually spelled Aqueduct, but they're fantastic. I saw them live at Bumbershoot. 3nodding

To clarify, hip-hop stemmed from disco and wouldn't have existed without it, and like Pyschosis mentioned, some hip-hop today seems to be using house elements.

Its totally way to late to say anything, but I hope you expanded on everything in your essay, because just when I start to get really interested in what you have to say, the subject changes.
