The year is 4014 and space travel has expanded to fifteen planetary systems over the span of two galaxies. Over time people began harder and harder to keep in line and thus piracy was reborn in space and crime is stronger then ever. The Coalition, a group made from all the Earth countries that formed when we transcended our differences now acts as the dictator over the people. But for those of us who grew tired of killing innocents or tired of seeing friends die in the wars went rogue and eventually ended up in a prison ship like the battleship Cerberus. I am Marcus Pierce, ex admiral of what we called the dark fleet. Due to my "crimes," saving people's lives, I was sentenced to a life in prison on board the Cerberus. Well I managed to rally the worst of the worst together; or the most righteous group of soldiers around and take over the ship. Funny how things work, since it was a prison ship the Cerberus is the best piece of machinery the Coalition has ever created, a prototype no less with cloaking and everything. Now that we have the ship, well honestly I don't know what we'll do.

NPC's & Ships Cerberus- Home sweet something until we find something better. The Cerberus has fifteen main cannons on each side and a giant cannon in the center for devastating ion blasts that take down even planetary shielding. On each side it also carries a whoping thousand light turbolaser batteries and five hundred heavy turbolaser batteries for orbital strikes. It has at least a hundred missile launchers with the most advanced targeting available not to mention two hangers filled with fighters that are also top of the line with drones to pilot them should we run out of pilots. To top it all off the Cerberus has an engine that beats most cruisers in speed and in a battle ship that is important.
Arch Angel Fighters- My pride and joy, the Arch Angel fighter; believe it or not our little ship has the ability to manufacture them in mass quantities and since they are the most advanced fighters on the line that makes us very special.
Chimaera- The Chimaera was the original ultimate battlecruiser, updated with all the latest weapons systems, 20 heavy ion beam cannons, 100 heavy turbolaser batteries, 400 light turbolaser batteries stationed strategically along both sides of the ship. The Chimaera was also the latest in stealth and weapons technology, the flagship of the Dark Fleet. This was all twenty years ago, before the Cerberus took its place in the latest technological advancements. The Chimaera was originally commanded by Admiral Gabriel Borghi, who was outcast 5 years ago as a traitor to the coalition. Both he and the ship have disappeared after that and have not been seen since.
Great White Class- A mercenary and pirate class ship that has become the norm to see in a pirate or mercenary fleet. It carries over two thousand fighters and has two hundred light turbolaser batteries and fifty heavy turbolaser batteries. It flyies like a cruiser even though it is a battle ship but it has very weak defense to compensate.
Wolf Spider Fighters- A small agile fighter that is the ship of choice for all pirates and mercenaries. You some times see them on Coalition ships but not often. They are often called humming birds by our crew and personally I think they should be named that but don't underestimate them, those rapid fire lasers rip through hull like a hot knife through butter.
Venator Class- The typical Coalition ship that is slower then most old ladies driving. But it carries as many guns as the Cerberus but it doesn't have our ion cannon. It's shielding is almost as strong as the Cerberus but our cannons can take care of it in a few barrages. It has three hangers how ever and usually has an almost unlimited supply of fighters but they don't have drones to pilot them like we do.
Lucifer Class- These massive battle ships are nearly on par with the Cerberus but are barely seen. They are the battle ships of the dark fleet and the Cerberus is the next model prototype and the only real difference is the on board computer, ion cannon, and manufacturing plant. Although it does create Demon class fighters its hanger bays.
Demon Fighters- The class below the arch angel fighter, the Demon fighters have just as much speed but less shielding and fire power. How ever with a skilled pilot a Demon fighter could easily kill fifty Arch Angel drones.

Weapons & Armor The weapons in the future are modified to shoot lasers and appear like normal weapons that we have now. Sniper lasers move too fast for people to see and silencers make the lasers invisible as well as supress the sound but reduce the power of the laser. In terms of armor most people carry repulser shields that can take a limited amount of damage before the lasers begin ripping through your skin. Some people have managed to create labers out of plasma and large shields on their arms but most soldiers stick to standard laser weaponry.

Planetary Systems Of course our planatary system is still here in the milky way galaxy but there are two more systems in our galaxy. The America system and the Britain system named after the two countries that discovered we had two more planatary systems. In the Milky Way Galaxy the Coalition power is at its best and even if the Cerberus could make it through the entire fleet there would be no real reason to be there. In the second galaxy which we call the Terra Galaxy we have colonised planets in over twelve systems each named for a different country on Earth. There are five systems left uncolonised by the Coalition which are controlled by mercenaries and pirates. The Dark Fleet also travels through there often but rarely is seen only because they are going after specific targets. We can travel almost freely through every where besides the Milky Way Galaxy but what we run into not even I know.

Marcus walked down the deck of the Cerberus inspecting the systems and watching the men work on getting things running again. It was at that moment when the red alert went off. A Coalition cruiser had come out of hyper space and was right next to the Cerberus. Marcus ran to the bridge and shouted commands."Have we unlocked the weapons control yet? No! ********! Prepare for boarding defense! You, I don't care who you are just get the damn defense turrets online so we stand a chance! Soldiers follow me!"Marcus ran to the armory and grabbed a mounted machine gun and told the other soldiers to grab one and put one at the other boarding entrance. Marcus took half of the soldiers and sat at the mounted machine gun waiting for the soldiers to come on board."Steady men! Fire on sight, they won't be expecting us but once they know we're here they'll give us hell. Bridge, get those damn weapons systems online so we destroy the damn thing, or at least give us shields I mean we won't last five minutes without weapons or shields."He was of course lying, they would most likely last several hours in a battle against a cruiser before taking serious damage but he didn't want to get repairs since that would mean they would have to travel to a Coalition or Pirate station and that would be bad.

Holding steady, Andross basically had the con on the bridge at the time the Coalilition ship moved in. As soon as he saw it, he yelled out, "Shields up and bring all defensive systems up to full power. 30 degree right, pull out. All-ahead flank!"
The bridge resounded the commands as they trying to outrun the starship but it was right on top of them and they couldn't react fast enough. As the alerts came up on the screen, Andross sighed and took his hands off the controls. He yeled out, "It's too late. All Stop...I'm halting the ship. If they are boarding and we are moving we can cause too much stress on the hull and cause a breach. Everyone to boarding stations."
Everyone got up and ran ove to his locker holding his weapons. He grabbed his G36K and holstered his USP 40. Running down the corrider, he found marcus taking up a defensive position, "Sir, I they jumped right on top of us. They had to have known our exact location. You know the Cerebus can out run a Coalition???? They were right on us and we couldn't get away before they started latching. Admiral, they wouldn't dare fire on us this close, their splash damage would cause as much damage on them as us. They are either going to board or keep moving. I saw boarding latches so we know their choice. I had to order an All Stop or else risk a hull breach....I'm sorry I failed you, sir." He bowed his head down in shame.

Marcus was more angry that the engines were operational and no one told him more then the Cerberus not being able to out run a simple cruiser. But that was when the troops started coming out and Marcus held down the trigger causing thousands of lasers to spray the door killing three men in the initial boarding. He then looked up at Andross with a agitated expression."Well then I guess the deck officers weren't completely retarded, I mean a hidden distress cal would have been so hard since it took me at least an hour to free you all and capture the bridge. Son I'm more surprised the engines are working. But I don't need you here damn it I need you hacking the ******** computer to get shields and weapons online. Well at least the ******** turrets so I can enable the weapons in a few minutes. I knew the captain, that's why he's out in space without his testicles. So get a move on soldier and get those damn boarding defense turrets online to take care of these damn mother ********' colorful language was one of his quirks that made some soldiers flinch because they didn't expect it from an older man. Marcus returned his sight to the gun and notice that he had killed at least twenty soldiers during the conversation leaving the crew agog at their admiral for being able to kill without watching with surprising accuracy."Son, did I hit that one b*****d in the testicles?" "Yes sir I believe so." "Well ******** me in the a** and call me Sally that's hilarious!"Once again the crew looked at him but decided it was best to accept their admiral since he was effective if not entertaining.

Andross exclaimed, "Sir, the shields are already online but the turrets require the security code from the weapons officer. Even then, the cde only will get you into the network. Then you have to know all the prompts. You are the only one that knows what happened to all the crew? Is "Weps" spending time with the captain?" Victor paid less and less attention to the conversation and more to his shooting. After almost completely spacing out, he shot his attention back at the Fleet Admiral, "Sir, I'll get working on the turrets as best I can with or without a code but either way, it's going to take some time. You need to hold them back."
He fired his G36 at them riddling several enemies with holes. There was general suprise at the pilot's shooting ability. Andross brushed it off. If anyone ever asked, he'd tell but until then. He needed to concenrate on his hacking skills. After being locked up and doing nothing but protest recently, he hoped everything would come back to him. No...it HAD to come back to him.

Marcus, now hearing of yet another thing he didn't know became so violently angry he stopped shooting the machine gun and took out a detonator from his pack."Press that damn button on my command!"The soldiers gave their admiral cover as he made his way to the middle of the docking way blowing men apart with his Winchester. He placed the charge on the docking tube and began to run. He then shouted and jumped through the docking bay door as it closed just in time to avoid the blast."Move it soldiers! They need your help over there!"Marcus sprinted back to the bridge and literally pushed Adross over on to the ground to get to the main computer. He entered a code in and then reached out a hand to Andross."If the password is ever needed again, It's Lira Maxwell. Oh and I left Weps for you, he's knocked out in his quarters. When this is all over soldier, I'll make sure you get a better rank."

Andross watched as Marcus completely ignored his question and walked away. Seing him running back, he tried to move but was pushed to the ground anyway. Scampering to his feet, he dashed after the officer and listened to him. He nodded to acknowledge Marcus' dialouge, "Thank you, sir, but as long as I still get to fly, you can make me the god damn cook, for I care." He smiled afterwards and waited to give his leader a chance to reply. If he didn't say something soon or didn't have anything to say, Andross would continued, "Sir, you have a battle to fight and I have to get these turrets online, so let's say we put a raincheck on this conversation, eh?" he saluted and turned towards the console, "As soon as the Grand Admiral leaves, steal us inside the bridge." The crewmen replied, "Aye, sir."

((Yeah, right now my spelling will probably be worse because I lost my right contact lens and my step dad is getting them from my dad's house. But I fixed it and put you on it. I was in a hurry to post everything in here so there is probably more then just those mistakes.))
Marcus admired his spunk and this kid must have known he would. Marcus cracked his neck and spoke again before heading out."Fine numb nuts, but once those turrets are online I expect you right here listening to me rant about whatever the ******** I want for an hour."Would this actually happen? Probably not, unless he was on his fifth drink of hard lichor and not yelling at some poor private to ******** a chicken. Marcus grabbed his Winchester and ran just in time to kill a soldier who had managed to escape the machine gun fire. Marcus kept shooting from that point on, he didn't really mind that he wasn't flying anything.

Focusing on navigating through the network, he didn't respond to the Grand Admiral. Yes, it was somewhat disrespectful but he much rather would have saved his life. As he went through the different menus, he finally hit something that made sense. He entered the weapons systems menu and started the boarding turret activation process. Everything was starting u when suddenly the screen froze and a menu came up PASSWORD REQUIRED: He typed in the same password as before: PASSWORD REQUIRED: **** ******* The menu disappeared for a moment but soon returned: ACCESS DENIED! Andross cursed aloud. Slamming his fists against the console, he said, "I'll have to find the back door." He opened up the siding and took a tool from his pack. He searched through the wiring and circuit boards and finally smiled. Hooking the device to the board. He pressed a button and the decoding began. Soon after, the device beeped and the screen read: ACCESS ALLOWED Starting...
Locating active turrets...
Turrets located...
Targeting system online...
Searching for friendly forces...
Found...
Scanning for hull breaches...
WARNING: Breach Found...
Targeting...
Firing... The screen switched to a camera view of the area as the turrets began firing upon the opening. Andross smiled afterwards acknowledging his success. He sontinued to watch waiting for any orders from the Grand Admiral through the camera audio feed.

Marcus smiled as the turret began firing at unsuspecting soldiers. Marcus looked up at the camera and continued to smile before speaking."Good s**t son, now listen to me carefully. Start the engines but don't move the ship forward, instead rotate it. I will also need the hanger bay unlocked, oh and make it so I won't die of a lack of air when I get inside. Don't question me son and do it!"Marcus began to sprint down steps and eventually got into the hanger bay and waited for Andross to say something.
