Guild "To-Do" List Electric Spark suggested I post this in case you guys want to help out with anything. This list is ever-growing/changing...I'm always adding to it (more so than I seem to be scratching off)! Because of that, I don't even think this stuff is in any particular order...It's also good for me to have this stuff all written down somewhere as a reminder for me."To-Do" List:• Finish Poffin post in RP Basics
• Create a Poffin-making thread in the region forums after Poffin explanation is completed in RP Basics
• Come up with system for "Dance" portion of contests that doesn't require any outside judging or PvP
• Write down Visual/Dance/Battle portion instructions/rules in RP Basics
• Create NPC coordinators for each of the four contests (Normal, Great, Ultra, and Master Ranks) - 1 Pokemon per NPC & include all Pokemon stats...3 NPCs per contest rank
• Create more Kanto threads
• Decide what to do about game plot vs. RP journey for Kanto (includes Team Rocket issues, how to obtain Eevee/Lapras, etc.)
• Come up with good times/order to hold events like Pokemon League, Master Rank Super Contest, and catching Legendary Pokemon (since all will occur at the end of the Kanto journey).
• How to go about dealing w/ catching legendaries
• Finish Underground system
• What to do about roleplaying each region in order...All members must be on/around the same track in RP journey for League/Contests to work...(close down Kanto once Johto opens?)
• Work on a system that requires a certain # of posts to get through tunnels & caves...so as to account for how long it should take to get through...
• NEXT SUMMER EVENT??
• Eventually coincide the Johto forums with HeartGold/SoulSilver
...ugh, more will come. If you are interested or have any questions about anything on my list, just post here and ask. I wrote this list mostly for me, so it's written in a way that I know what I'm talking about. But if you're curious, I can explain in further detail what I'm thinking about with each one of these things.

Throwing out an idea for the Contest NPCs.
Do you still have the stuff from the White City guild? I mean, we've got cameos from previous stories and guilds popping up all over the place, in books, in encounters...maybe some of our characters from WC could fill in the NPC gaps, since they all only had one Pokemon anyways.

They could...but I don't still have that information unfortunately. But I remember a few of the characters, like mine for example, so I could use them. If you remember your characters, you could post them here to help me out. All I really need is their name and their Pokemon. I can come up with the rest myself, since I would have to modify all their Pokemon stats to each contest rank.

Lol, OK I'll put you in. I think I had 2 - Mary Drew & Mika Fuzuha. Mary had a Vulpix and I don't remember what Mika had...I think Mika was a breeder though. Oh well, now she'll be a contest member too.

Chikorita comes to mind, but I don't think that's right.
Throwing out an idea for the tunnels and caves posts.
Have it so that when someone enters a tunnel/cave, they generate a random number between 20-50. If they have a Pokemon that knows Flash, they generate a random number between 15-35. That seems like the most logical solution to me.

Yeah, I was definitely thinking a post action was in order. I was talking about it with Irondino and he suggested something like that too. That Flash bit makes sense too, though. Since it would certainly be easier to get through caves and tunnles with Flash. Unfortunately, we can't implement this early as Mt. Moon, I don't think. I think it's too soon and a couple of us are already at the Mt. Moon area. Besides, Flash isn't even available yet. I forget where you get it from...
lol...I don't even remember the old stuff I had in place and here I am trying to implement more!

Well, maybe for the darker areas (Rock Tunnel, Dark Cave, Granite Cave, Wayward Cave), you could implement the flash technique, but for the areas that are already lit up (Mt. Moon, Whirl Islands, Meteor Falls, Mt. Coronet), you could generate the number as if you already had Flash.
You get Flash in...Flash is obtained at...it's acquired in...I don't know. Where DO you get Flash?

Lol...wait! I have a FR/LG guidebook! (I have almost every guidebook actually...)
Um...Flash...Flash...Flash...stupid guidebook doesn't even say! but no matter...because it wasn't listed I know where it is. It's when you go through Diglett's Cave and wind up back on the other side of Route 2. There are 2 houses: one gives you Flash, the other has a boy who will trade Abra for a Mr. Mime.
Speaking of which, I had better add that route then! Lol...well, I guess it's OK for now, since I stopped at Vermillion anyway. But I better remember to add that first when I add more threads.

Yeah, I remember. After you catch five Pokemon, the aide guy gives you Flash, he's in the building between Viridian Forest and Pewter...
So, pretty much if you have five Pokemon when you get out of Viridian (I know Syrens Song did), you could actually get Flash then.
So, just so we can have the satisfaction of crossing this off the list, I'll plot this question: is this problem solved?

Well, technically you would need cut to get over there, so I don't think it's quite solved...I mean its solved in the sense that we know what to do about it, but I think we should still post the thread later along with Diglett's Cave. We can just make a new thread for it, calling it a "Part 2" or "East Side" or something...because you get Mr. Mime there too.
