((Ok instead of making ten threads im kinda going to do time jumps so i can keep them all together... Ill do a few pages each i think... Dont know yet.^^'))

Sam frowned the sweat poored down her face as she lifted the weights higher on her back. She just needed to make it to the top of the hill with out flying and then catch the rabbit on the other side. She sighed. "Bastet...once i reach the top take after the bunny." She nodded. Zara wouldnt be happy that the cat hunted for her but she wasnt going to be able to move after this. Sighing she looked at the cat. "Second thought dont... I need.... need... to get the rabbit..." The cat just looked at her
...and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those I had to kill because they ticked me off."

Peace to the trees, peace to the birds....
Smiling slightly zara bounded up the hill next to sam. "Samantha if you want to achieve the greatness of being alpha huntress then you have to do this.... every day...." nodding she reached the top of the hill twisting her ears back to hear sam struggling with the weights. She sighed. maybe this was too rough a workout. As soon as the thought was out though sam shifted the weights and continued up the hill.

Finding something within herself she latched on to it pulling herself the rest of the way up the hill. "I made it..." She breathed out a long sigh. setting... more like dropping the weights at Zara's feet. She got an expectant look and almost cursed. Looking around she saw the blasted rabbit. "Be right back..."
Diving after the rabbit she caught it by the ears and it screamed. she silenced the rabbit almost the same instant it let out the squeal. She shook it just to make sure then started back up the hill. She glanced at Bastet sitting next to Zara and Bakar. Chasing rabbits was their job... bigger prey was hers....
SHe handed over the rabbit and frowned. "Here... is that it?"

Zara frowned lightly. "No we should look for more rabbits..." She nodded and moved forward slightly looking back. "Into the forrest with you." Nodding lightly she was a cat... sizing the goyal with critical senses.

She eyed the cats for a moment. then looked at Zara. "Do we need to keep hunting small things... why not hunt the large prey, that is what we eat... We dont eat rabbits because you need a bunch of them... Let me hunt a deer... it will feed a portion of the clan tonight..." The lust for a fight and a run came into her eyes.
She was disappointed though for Zara simply stood there shaking her head. Sam almost went off. She needed this training...Zara was the goddess of the hunt... She would help her get better... she would make it so she got to the main hunter spot...she would finally be good enough...
Slowly... she sighed moving to pick up the dead rabbit. she held it out to the cats... "Find more..." Both cats took off. "If you insist on rabbits..." she sighed watching the cats "Then rabbits you will get." She tossed the rabbit at Zara and took off.

Zara sighed padding after sam. This goyal was hot-headed and had enough spunk to make alpha hunter. but ... she wasnt nearly stable enough for the responsibility.
Zara looked around opening her llarge mouth to draw scents across her scent glands. In the bush was quail and in the tree birds. But no rabbit. she had been having the goyals chasing rabbits for the past week... but the rabbits couldnt be all gone. She frowned. "Sam..." The goyal had the nerve to ignore her.
"SAMANTHA...." She sat while the green goyal whirled around. Her two cats growled a threat and she tipped her head. "Try finding rabbit but look for quail too..."Sam simply stared... Zara sighed. "Or keep on looking for rabbit..." With that Sam turned and took her two cats deeper into the woods.
Zara tried to keep a calm head. She should look around and make it so she could teleport here later.... she wanted to get closer to the lyacan...needed to...she had to know...

Sam grunted. How could the witch think that she would give up on the rabbits..it was impossible there wasnt anymore.... She nodded to her two cats and they launched forward sniffing this or that.... tracking... she had the best tracking cats... they could hear better and they could smell better.. and that came from training.
A flash of brown. Bastet was off. She smiled. This was how she hunted rabbit. Tearing off after the cat she stopped. a quail sat blisfully unawear... she watched her cats go... she could get two prey pieces... surely the more the better... right? She dove for it grbbing the prey lightly and clining it quickly... no time to cause it great pain... just a quick death... Banshee would be so proud...

Zara heard the two cats bolt...they had a scent but what was Sam... She nodded. THe sound of breaking bones echoed in the silence... She shivered... atleast it didnt sound like a brain smooshing.... She shivered again...oh that sound would never leave her mind.
Calling softly she listened. "Kuno... come boy... I need you..." She was just finishing as the padded feet of the gryphon tapped down next to her... "Follow the cats... make no sound...but move them from their path..." She pet the fox head. and padded after sam hearing the bird wings hit the air.
"Sam? you caught one?" She knew it wasnt a rabbit but better to play stupid then rub it in her face. She heard the air swish as sam nodded. "Good... then we can be done for now..."

Bastet and Bakar had circled the rabbit they were closing in. Bastet would make the kill. Everything was planned. a flash of red... They looked up for a moment and the rabbit bolted. Both cats growled and lunged after the gryphon.
Sam heard her cats. she bolted around zara. dead biurd limp in her hands. "Bastet....Bakar.... where are you." The bird wings so great they would carry a full goyal. "Kuno!" She grabbed both cats by the scruff. both hissing and growling. Both pawing at the bird wings. "Enough" she shook the cats lightly. "Sit...both of you...."
She looked and Zara who had come crashing after them. SHe was whispering to the gryph. "What the hell was that about" Sam called that looking expectantly. She wasnt rewarded with and explination... "Both of you... Get back on the trail..." She practicly tossed the cats and they ran off again... turning to Zara she warned. "Keep Kuno away... from my cats..." She jogged after the cats wings folded to her back

Zara closed her mouth and watched sam run off. She sighed. So maybe telling her pet to disrupt the cats wasnt the smartest lesson but... the cats could be thrown from a trail... very easily... Sam had to realize that. It was too plain to miss.
She pet the fox her big paw racing through his fur. "Come my pet... we must change the cats path....sam relies to heavily on them."
Bolting ahead she sank to a crouch and followed behind in stealthy wonder.

Sam nodded as her cats picked up the scent again. The cats looked around and sam frowned. She listened. For the beat of a heart she knew her cats were being targeted. she reached them picking them up and fluttering into the air. She watched in horror as Kuno tore into the ground. What had come over Zara? She waited for the gryph to leave. then set her cats back down. "ZARA!!!" the feline waalked from the bushes. "What is wrong with you.... My cats are my friends they help me hunt... Keep Kuno away until i can get the rabbit."

Zara smirked she was quick that was for sure... only the divine had been able to catch wind of Kuno before it was too late...but then again...she hadnt used Kuno for attacks in a long while...
"You depend on them... If you want to move to alpha huntress you will need to catch them on your own... your cats can be with you for tracking but send your cats against the bore and they will die... they are too small... so leave the cats and find that rabbit."
Sam looked as if she just might.

Sam eyed Zara and then her cats. "I do depend on them... they are my friends and i count on them..." She nodded. "Fine ill catch the rabbit myself..." She huffed. "Bastet...Bakar... "both cats readied themselves to run..."Stay..."Both cats looked at her baffled as she ran off. Zara i n cat form chased after her.

"You need to be able to count on your abilities to catch your own prey... While the cats will be with you... you have to broaden the amount of prey you catch and no one will respect you if you have your cats catch everything..." She nodded "So relax and think like a hunter."

Sam sighed and looked at the rabbit tracks and stepped lightly the rabbit was near by, She breathed in using her sense of smell to take in her surroundings. The bushes. She turned her head. her eyes closed. She opened them and dove. her claws full of rabbit. She held it up... "I caught it..."
