House Barriurden stands second within the city. Those without do not attack, no longer seeing the point in doing so as Matron Barriurden is now mad, her own children striving to overthrow her. The house is strong and formidable, but the internal struggle distracts some from the Matron's plotting...

Alauna sits on the edge of her crimson decorated bed. Even the curtains of her fourposter are crimson. A smile dances along her crimson painted lips. She knows that some say her bed is done in such a color to hide any blood that may get on it while she plays. Not entirely true, but it had crossed her mind on several occasions how the blood seemed to blend in. Well, at least until it dried anyways. She runs a hand through her white hair, red eyes trained upon her door. Only moments ago her messenger left her after telling of the Kilndar girl's victory. It seems off to her. The child didn't seem like one who would do such a thing...

Aiji laid there as there on his bed which lied at the foot of his beloved Mistresses. Currently he was sleeping soundly, but that would only remain so until the messenger left and shut the door rather loudly in his opinion. Aiji's head quickly popped up in alarm ausing his chains to jingle as he looked around in the rather dark room. Not hearing a sound he quietly sat up and tried to see if there was anyone around. Aiji was scared of the man, and for good reason. The master had managed to get a hold of him a few nights ago while the Mistress was busy. He managed to leave a few marks upon the young human boys soft porcelain skin. Thinking of that night caused Aiji to shiver. He then quietly over the edge of the bed he hoped that his mistress was the only one there.

Hearing the chains, she frowns. She certainly didn't restrain her Aiji. Seeing the human in the dark, she waves her hand to light the room with blue faerie fire so he may see. Crawling to the foot of the bed, she smiles down at him before reaching out to touch his lovely hair. "Did you sleep well, Aiji?" She always speaks common to him unless he asks her to do otherwise.

As soon as the room lit up Aiji could see his Mistress. He almost purred when he felt her delicate hand against his hair. Once she spoke to him he looked up and smiled nefpre nodding his head softly. "Yes, I did milady... Very well.." He said before shifting his weight a bit. He winced as the evidence of his Master was still evident. Non th less the boy kept smiling and slowly rubbed his face in his Mistress's hand.

He has marks upon his pale flesh. She didn't mark him, would never mark him. It angers her. Reaching down, she undoes the chains her Patron put in place and gently pulls Aiji up to her. "How badly has he hurt my Aiji?" She strokes his cheek gently with a soft hand.

Feeling the release of the chains Aiji immediately rubbed his wrists with his hands. His master had placed them on a bit too tight the previous night. As his mistress guided him upward towards her he got on his knees in his bed and let out a small pur as she gently stroked his cheek. Hearing her questions he paused not sure as to how to answer it. "Uh.. Uhmm not too bad mistress.." He lied not wanting her to get angry. The boy mad sure to keep the view of his back out of her gaze. He knew that it would possibly send her on a tangent and he just wanted to bathe in the peace that they were curently surrounded by.

Those crimson eyes watch him for a moment, knowing he is telling a lie. She ignores it for the time being. Giving him a smile, she nods. "As you say then, Aiji." Alauna rubs her cheek against his for a moment. "Are you hungry, dear Aiji? Thirsty?"

Aiji had to think for a moment when she asked him if he was hungry. When he finally decided if he was or not he smiled and then nodded slightly. "Yes, a bit milady..." He answered and then as she rubbed her cheek against his he smiled and looked at her with adoring eyes. He couldn't believe how lucky he was to have such a woman for his Mistress.

She loves his eyes and how he looks upon her like that. She conjures up a small magic composed faerie to go tell someone to bring food and drink. Playing a lock of Aiji's hair, she sighs ever so softly. "Our dear little Kilndar daughter has earned herself a name now. Such a pity.. I had such high hopes for her but she has bent to her mother's will it would seem."

"Is she.. the one that used to sneak me cookies while Master was not looking?" He asked curiously. The boy had neve been good with politics, but he knew when someone was nice to him. Since he had become a slave there were only a few that reated him decently. his Mistress.. and another drow that he never knew the name of. "What does it mean that she earned herself a name?" He asked slightly cocking his head to the side clearly lost.

"Yes, she is the one." Sighing softly, she gives him a small smile. "Her mother did not name her because she thought the girl would amount to nothing. Today, her mother has given her a name: LiNeeerafae. It meas Legendary executioner. I will spare you the details of how she earned it. I wouldn't want to upset you."

"Legendary executioner... I don't like the sound of that Mistress..." He said with a slight frown. The name sent shivers down his spine. how could the woman who had been so nice as to go out of her way and give him cookies be named as a 'legendary executioner'. The young slve did not understand this. His confusion showed on his face.

Aiji frowned and then nodded reluctantly. It made sense now, but he still didn't like it. He quirked a brow and then looked up towards his mistress. "I don't like it... I wish it wasn't so.."
