-I am NOT taking submission for sub characters at this time. The only way I will add a sub character is after the rp has fully started. I apologize for any inconvenience, but this way we will actually start the rp, instead of everyone just endlessly making characters.Notes: Original characters only. Back ground information should be no more than 2 small paragraphs. It's not a biography people, it's just some basic background information.
If you wish to play as one of the provided characters that's fine...but if you plan on making it the only character you play as, let me know. That way I can add them to the list of main characters instead of them listed as a sub character.
Background InformationOur story is set in a late 1800's type world (mainly a very fictional Europe), where demons and the unknown rule the night. Electricity is a new idea here, so most homes and streets still use old fashion lamps for lighting. The king of England has decided to start a group who specializes in the killing of these creatures of the night.
At the same time, the pope in Rome has enlisted a more civil group of night walkers to help the church control and destroy other night walkers.
Tristan the III, King of England has been informed of the pope's actions and has showed very strong opposition towards the Pope's plans, which it turn causes friction between the two countries.
Nether Italy nor England has heard anything out of Spain since the countries capital was attacked by a group of more intelligent night walkers. Spain's borders have been blocked to keep the group that attacked the capital from going after any other country...but can 50 foot stone walls and men with bows and swords really keep such evil from escaping?
Only time will tell.
Characters Main Characters+Marina Leviathan 'Lavian' Oceania -Age Unknown (looks 21)- A normally cheerful girl who works at a inn near the Vatican. Her accent shows that she is most likely originally from England. For some reason she only seems to leave the inn at night.
Lavian can sometimes be seen talking to herself while working, and sometimes gives off the feeling that she could be quiet deadly if someone crossed her wrong.
Nothing is known about her past,so it is unknown if she has any family, let alone what her actual age is. She can almost always be seen with her pet cat, coco.
+Nymph -Unknown (looks 18-19)- Nymph's past is shrouded in mystery. She has no memory of who she is or where she came from. The only memory she retained from her past was that she wanted all around her to suffer as she apparently had.
She takes no sides in the fight amongst good and evil. Her "life" and everyone else's death are the only things that matter to her.
Nymph is believed to be a vampire but that is not confirmed at this time, and her actual gender is unknown (uses female pronouns due to appearance)
She fights using mainly bows, but she is also able to use staffs, foils, sabers, and most weapons if need be.
She was last spotted in Italy but her current where abouts are unknown.
+Liam Jensen -Age: 26- Liam was born and raised in a slum of London, England and lives there to this day.
He lives in the basement of a house previously owned by his family, but lost to the most influential crime lord of the district when his parents died. The only entrance to the basement is a door located at the back of the house set along the ground, which Liam keeps securely locked at all times.
He is completely set on remaining aloof from the current conflict with England and Italy, as well as humanity in general, preferring to look out for his own survival and that of his loved ones (who are all deceased, he has no other friends or family). He doesn't leave his home often, and is only seen going to purchase food during the brightest hours of the day.
The thugs that run crime operations in the house above him always complain about the noise that comes from the
basement, but they as of yet have no idea what he actually does all day and night.
+Father Edmond -Age Unknown (Looks 23-25)-Father Edmond is Carlisle Flanagan's “assistant” in Retribution. He is a very kind, soft spoken priest who appears to be in his early twenties, with unkempt dark blue hair and pale red eyes hidden behind glasses.
He is believed to be a vampire who only kills those he is ordered to. He has been known to drink both demon and vampire blood but it is unconfirmed weather or not he drinks human blood.
He was last seen in a meeting with Carlisle Flanagan and Pope Caius but can now probably be found either wondering the grounds of the Vatican or sleeping in the library.
+Umbriel- (Age Unknown looks to be about 20)- Umbriel is an up and coming hunter that is currently making a name for himself around Italy.
Most information on him is unknown at this time, but he appears to be around twenty.
He is known for his kind face and because of it many don't believe that he is actually a hunter, but those who have seen him in action don't doubt his skill.
Sub CharactersEngland
+ King Tristan Coppola the III -Age 52- Stubborn but good hearted king of England. His wife was brutally murdered by a lower class demon, which is the cause behind his total loathing of all night walkers. He has no living relatives other than his young 5 year old son.
+Anna Coppola -Age 44, Deceased- Former Queen of England, and wife of King Tristan the III. She was killed while taking a walk at night in one of the royal flower gardens. Her killer was never caught.
Spain
+Queen Loralie Argosta -Age 51, Status/Location Unknown at this time- The Queen of Spain. She has built up a reputation over time as being a cold and stoic ruler, who seems to care about nothing more than reading her favorite books. She was last seen exactly a day before the attack on Spain.
+Princess Kamura Argosta -Age 32, Status/Location Unknown at this time- The younger and only living relative of Queen Loralie of Spain. Known as 'The Shadow Queen', it is said that she is the one who is actually ruling the country. She is known to be rather kind most of the time, but she can have a rather quick temper. She was last seen standing outside on one of the castle's balconies at right as the invasion began.
Italy
+Pope Caius -Age 76- Leader of the Catholic Church, and most influential man in all of Italy. After meeting a very intelligent vampire by the name of Carlisle, he teamed up with the vampire to make the 'Retribution' group that specializes in killing creatures of the night. He spends most of his time inside the inner parts of the church in the Vatican.
+Carlisle Flanagan -Age 397 (looks 23-25)- A vampire known to actually posses morals. He prefers to only feed on his own kind so that he will never kill anyone who 'can not protect themselves'. He was made the leader of 'Retribution' by Pope Caius after earning the Pope's trust.
