I thought that I was the one asking questions *^^*
Well we all know what JROTC stands for in here. At my school they call us Junior Rejects/Retards Of The Colony. Convient how the T and C work out.

I'd rather Navy Nerd than "Pickle" yup... standard green Class A jackets and AG415s. I was walking in the hall one day and this random guy did one of those idiotic *cough*pickle*cough* I had half the mind to turn around and kick him with my steel tipped boot.

Ergh.
I hate how they treat us at our school.
Expecially the ******** freshman.
They just don't understand.
And cadets within the program, don't understand some of the situations that they're placed in.
And then they start insulting others and what not.

Pssh, I'm gonna tell my Colonel that other cadets, in other states, get the same treatment we do. If not worse. Alot of cadets give JROTC a bad name scream my school just thinks that we're all going into the military that's why none of them will join. That and my school is crap, it'd rather give the boy's soccer team a parade for going to nationals [and losing] and not even acknowledging JROTC for winning state nationals nine years in a row. The school only acknowledges us because we do the recycling around the school... bravo alpha sierra tengo alpha romeo delta sierra.

Pfft. We're treated like s**t in FHS. 'Course, then again, we have most of the intelligent sudent population to begin with.
Let's see...
We're called the crusties.... the Navy Rejects..... the freaks..... the Cop Wannabes.... the Retards.... their meaning of NJROTC is Nazi Junior Recruitment Of This Country...... the Neo Nazis in America Association..... the ******** suck-up pissheads..... they think that ROTC is for retards, rejects, "crusties", freaks, and juvinille delinquints......
One time we had some assholes break in and steal a bunch of our rifle shapes. About half of them we had to replace because they decided to throw them off the third floor at some of our Cadets.
Another time we had a bunch of doofi yell "IT'S ANOTHER COLUMBINE!!!!" When they saw the NS1s going to the gym for practice drill with the shapes. That was in my Freshman year. For most of the semester we were being watched extremely close by the school security. Unfortunately, no matter what Commander or Cheif did we didn't get off the hook until the last few weeks of the school year, and even then people distrusted us. They still think we're going to go shooting up the school, though.
We've lost our drill team guide-on several times. Once we had to replace it because it had been totally wreaked.
Before I joined, some a** and his buddies thought is would be funny to break in and smash the windows and spray paint all sorts of rude and desparaging comments everywhere.
It's because of all of this nobody wants to join! They don't want to get targeted and victimized by the rest of the school. Not only to people not want to join, we even have a hard time keeping people in the program! Every quarter we loose two or three Cadets. I know it doesn't seem too bad, but we've only got a unit of just over 100 at the beginning of the year. This year ended with only 90 Cadets left!
However, not only to people outside the program think we're s**t, there's even Cadets in the program don't give a damn! The only reason they join is to get out of PE.
All in all, we think the students are trying to get rid of us. crying You don't know how much it pisses me off! mad

We get called Army people.
We get called Navy Bitches.
But we're Marines.
We're no ones bitches.
Although, my cadets refer to me as "The biggest b***h in the program."
Because I don't take their immature s**t.

Wow. People...
With us, it's kind of okay. Every once in a while, we get the "Pickle" name. But not much anymore in highschool. That was mainly in Jr High.
The highschool kind of likes us, cuz we do so much. Like moving boxes, cleaning the lunch room, we came to the school one weekend to unload all these mega heavy boxes to redo the new school building. And it keeps the other students free during the weekend and the Sports teams don't have to do it.
We get questioned more then anything. Like the normal "Can I wear your hat" or "Does this mean you're in the army" and the famous statement "You're a higher rank then him/her right? [[Yes]] Lets see you give em push ups/[insert other order]"
They find out fast that if you mess with on cadet, you're messing with the whole battalion.
We had them silly string and glue our door once [[cuz they couldn't get in]] and thats the worst of it. =[

Ha! You're lucky, because you've actually got school support. Not only that, we've only got a micro-company. Sure, Cadets'll stand up for each other, but there's the constant problem of being able to find one of your own. Normally, I'm the only Cadet in most of my classes. There's even teachers that want us gone!
In other words, we've got basically no help in FHS. It stinks. crying

Wow that sucks. We have about maybe 2 cadets per class. I think the school does it on purpose so we're not "alone" on uniform day. Our teachers love us. Alot of them thank us and ask us questions and junk There are some teachers who think the school is wasting money on us.. But oh well.

moonshinexxx3 : It really makes me happy to know that there are units out there that are praised rather than ridiculed♥ it really makes me envious xd *sigh* in an ideal world... yeah, everyone I've asked thinks that we're first picks for draft bait, sorta of a reason why we're not the most popular sweatdrop Yeah, we do all that sort of stuff to and recycling but it's all the school will acknowledge us for. We're not allowed to drop people anymore [well in font of the cadre, that and there's a lack of respect so most people won't drop].
I think that the teacher's staff is on our side... well at least all the teacher's I've had♥
Shadows10000 : In most cases there is inner conflict in battalions. See there are only parts of out battalion that act like "family" and that's the really close line companies and the drill/competitive teams. On Mondays you can always tell who's a cadet because ontop of wearing our uniforms on Wednesday we wear black t-shirts with our "logo" on the chest pocket and the Army crest on the back. It's funny because when I walk the lunchroom there are like tables of kids in out black t-shirts, or at least they sit in twos :] Sorry to hear about your school :[ if only the battalion would consist of people that actually care about the program and want to be in it, but if that were to happen our numbers would dropped to near nothing xp

demongirl009- We're not allowed to drop people anymore [well in font of the cadre, that and there's a lack of respect so most people won't drop]
Wow, we are. But you have to be an officer or higher. Well unless your Smag. But I didn't have to wait long. And honestly- I don't really like doing it. Cuz of the fact I have to sit there and make sure they're doing them right and the right number. When I can be working on my paperwork or watching other cadets. So I only drop them when I absolutely have to or I just have someone else that's an officer take charge. They learned fast to be good around me because I do that whole 'push until I say stop' thing. And I had a couple refuse to drop and I sent them to Sarg and they always get it worse then if they would of just dropped for me.
We did stop dropping for a while, but then things got completely out of control and we had a huge meeting about it.
Cadets basicly sit at one lunch table now. Cuz we're all basicly friends and some of them have there own 'groups' but we mostly stick together on uniform day. So when you enter the lunch room you see two lines of either green or digital [[ugh i despise the digital uniform, I so want our camos back]] and then random specks of colors from the civilians which are normally only friends cuz in our ROTC, people have a habit of dating only ROTC people. neutral no problem with it, but it makes break up harders
