House Kilndar. First House. Strongest in the entire city. It is the largest compound, not counting the schools. Surrounding it is a great fence, enchanted by the First Boy who is also House Mage and Archmage of the entire city. Housed inside is the entire Kilndar family, servants, slaves, and soldiers. They also keep pets and mounts. The family boasts several high ranking High priestesses, furthering their claim to power. For centuries, none have dared even whisper about challenging the great House Kilndar. With recent events, they may be safe for centuries more....

LiNeeerafae is curled up in her large fourposter bed. The blankets are black and crimson with one or two silver furs. The pillows are also black and crimson. The curtains are black. A lock of her silver hair caresses her right cheek as she lays there on her left side. She's tired from the day's activities. It takes a lot out of a person to destroy an entire house with the help of only one other. She was praised for her actions, given her name. In truth, though, she had her own secret motives for destroying the house that have nothing to do with their goddess's favor. She stares off at nothing with her silver eyes as she relaxes and thinks. What would have happened if that matron had spoken to her mother? She snorts softly, knowing that she's the one who would likely be dead now if that had been the case. She had no choice really. She had to take out the entire house since it could not be known if the woman had told anyone close to her or not.

The clicking of boots could be heard on the hard floors as Und made her way down the long hallway towards Lin's chambers, lead by two males. She wore her usual get up, her beautiful and cruel face hidden mostly by a long old and tattered cloak of black. A knock upon the door was given before one of the males spoke. "Lady Und has arrived" he announced before then turned, only to guard the doors. Und then pushing both of them wide open as she stepped into the room.
"You called for me?"

LiN waits for the doors to close behind Und. She sighs softly and forces herself to sit up. "Have you heard? Matron Kilndar has decreed that my name is now LiNeeerafae. She insists that Lolth has blessed me and in doing so has blessed our house." She runs her fingers through her silver hair. "Have I done the right thing?"

Urd stood there at the end of the bed, unmoved, her eyes not even falling upon Lin. They had been close, but she did what she could to remain distant from the woman. "What does this have to do with me?" She asked abruptly. Her long satiny white hair hidden behind the dark cloak. Her eyes glowed brightly under the deeper shadows of her hood. Her hands looking as though they were skeletal, thanks to her leather gloves.

She sighs and allows herself to fall back on the bed, landing in a suggestive position. "I see that you do not plan on cheering me up today, Und. I shouldn't have bothered you." She closes her silver eyes for the moment. "I will go see Matron Barriurden then."

Clicking her heels together she stood up straight. "If your are done with me then, I shall be on my way" It was obvious Und was not to be swayed at the moment...which was very odd when it came to Lin. It meant she was up to something, in the middle of some grand plot of house movement. Eyes moved over to Lin's form.

LiN laughs softly. She knows what is going on and feels better for it. "Go about your plans Und. Do come back when you have the time though. I would very much like for us to.. play." She knows the woman well enough to know that she must be planning something or in the middle of something important to her to act like this.

Und lowered her hood and stepped towards the bed, reaching her gloved hand out just enough to brush her fingertips down Lin's side. "You've over worked yourself again." She said more as a fact then a question. Her eyes shifted back towards the door where the guards were. "Sent them away..we cannot talk with them there"

LiN sends the guards on their way, listening to their footsteps recede down the hall. "They are gone now." She turns her silver eyes up to Und. "Is there something wrong then?"

"I've been petitioned by another house. You must raise my pay Lin" She said simply, watching the girl before moving to sit in a large chair that rested in the corner of the room

Her mind wanders for a moment. Why would another house try to hire Und away from them? Does someone think to attack them despite her victory and House Kilndar's obvious favor with the Spider Queen? A soft sigh escapes her and she closes her silver eyes. "Of course. Your pay will raised."

Und nodded, unclasping her cloak now to rest it over the arm of the chair. "Lin. You did well." She said slouching back in the chair. "But, you've overworked yourself. You are weak, and easy to attack...remember these things"

It was odd walking around in the streets of an Underdark city for a human lad as young as Sarest was. What wasn't odd, however, was the chains on his hands and the 'obedience' collar on his neck. He was coming back after being sent away on a chore, only to be returning with some snacks for the newest named person in the household he served, lady LiN. He hupped along, a little disconcerted by the stares he was getting from those around him, although they didn't dare do anything to him as he belonged to the Kilndar and word had spread quickly of LiN's achievement.
Sarest got into the house and quickly shut the door, allowing himself a moment to sigh about being back inside where he wouldn't get accusing glares...
"Hey! Get a move on you layabout!" a taskmaster yelled to Sarest, tapping a club in his hand.
Sarest jumped some and bowed a little bit before making his way up to LiN's room. He was surprised to see there were no guards on the door and knocked, "My lady? I've brought you something to eat," he said just loud enough to be heard inside.

"I've always been weak, or are you to be like others and forget so swiftly all the evil things my Matron said of me?" At the knock and voice, she pauses. She looks Und over for a moment before deciding she needs the food more than the privacy with the mercenary. "Come in Sarest. Join me for a time. I will be glad for some company who will not remind me how weak and lowly a Kilndar I am." She's a bit moody and sighs after the outburst, already regretting it.
