This legendary group of sword wielding ninja operated out of Hidden Mist. The group has had problems keeping members, with Hoshigaki Kisame, Momochi Zabuza and Kurosuki Raiga all leaving the village to become missing-nins. Presumably the group found replacements for these three.
Yes, the Mist Village will have a group of seven people, each having one part of the seven-part sword set. The ruling Mizukage has the right to deny anyone entry into this organization, to remove anyone from it at any time, and to appoint anyone into it at any time.
Ok, original to the concept of the swordsmen we are going to try an original concept. We want the swords in the mist village to fit the warriors who wield them. So, contrary to the older idea of having a posted set of seven blades. When you achieve the rank of the seven swords, you design your own blade. Once you get the general idea down, you send it to us, where we will approve or deny it. If it is denied, then its will probably be due to the idea that it is too strong, so.....Dont take it personal.

Owner: Mace Kaguya
Description: This sword goes to about 2.5 feet. It is a broadsword so most of its strength comes from offensive attacks. The blade is relatively heavy. Training was required in order for it to be swung at higher speeds. The front of the blade is actually a little more dense than the rest of the blade making the drop devastating.
Special Ability: When Chakra is put into the blade, it begins to shimmer. The blade will begin to glow moreso as chakra is constantly put into the blade. Mace actualy has higher grade glasses for when the blade takes full effect. The sword grows in brightness in order to try and blind the foe. However the true strength lies in contact. When the blade makes contact it releases all the stored visible light into an instant flash capable of blinding foes for a small amount of time. (20% Chakra to charge blade)
Method of Storage: It connects to the strap that goes diagnally on the back of its owner. the handle is reachable by the right arm.

Though the Mizukage does have the ability to appoint people into these positions, the first seven will be chosen according to the first seven Mist ninja to graduate to Jonin ranking. If people are appointed to Jounin at the same time, and there are not enough spots, a contest will be held.
NOTE: As the group operates under the direction of the Mizukage, you will be severely punished if any disobedience is shown. ALSO, if you decide to go missing-ninja, and take one of the seven swords with you, you will be on the wanted list of the Mist Village.
