Do you { know } what it's all about Are you brave enough to { figure } out So I've been thinking about becoming a vegetarian for a long time now, and I'm watching this show about animal abuse, and it just pretty much threw me over the edge.
I pretty much don't eat any meat except for occasionally turkey, chicken, or fish.
But even then my diet mostly consists of salad or vegetarian food already.
I don't think I could give up fish though, I adore sushi.
Discuss Vegetarianism Animal Abuse How I could never give up sushi. Know that { you } could set your world on fire If you are strong enough to { leave } your doubts

Do what I did.
Go vegetarian for a week and see how easy it is.
I used to LOVE bacon, and I told my parents I was going vegetarian for a week.
They didn't approve and did everything they could to make me give up before the week was over.
They had fried chicken, which I loved, and they shoved bacon in my face, saying things like, "Mmmm, you love this stuff. Go ahead and have some."
But I didn't care. :/
And just like that, I realized how easy it would be.
Sure, I still look at chicken or a piece of fish and remember how tasty they were and I can still smell that they're good, but I just don't care.
But now that I've been vegetarian for about 2 years or so, I don't think my body can digest most meats any more anyway.

Do you { know } what it's all about Are you brave enough to { figure } out I hate fried chicken.
D:
I dislike a lot of meat as is. I can only eat white meat of chicken, I don't eat steak, I don't eat much meat at all.
D:
I do love bacon, but not so much where it would break my resolve.
But sushi, no I can't give my sushi up just yet.
D:
I adore tuna and soft shell crab sushi too much, it is all I ever get. Along with eel.
Everything else I can live without. Know that { you } could set your world on fire If you are strong enough to { leave } your doubts

I didn't like much beef or pork much.
But you should try it.
You think you love them too much, but maybe you don't.
I think you should go for the week thing. ;O

Do you { know } what it's all about Are you brave enough to { figure } out I've never liked pork or beef, and barely chicken or turkey.
And the only fish I eat is in sushi, which is minute amounts.

Kinda dating, but not boyfriend&girlfriend? confused
I don't get it.
But I don't really know anything about relationships. D:
He should be supportive. :b
Maybe he can even try it with you!
But if you guys aren't quite at that level yet, maybe you shouldn't push it.

Do you { know } what it's all about Are you brave enough to { figure } out We're seeing each other, we hold hands and kiss, but aren't official or anything.
We're just on the path to being so.
You can date around before you settle with a guy, and that is kind of what we're doing, except we're only with each other.
He wouldn't do it. xD
He is a 'manly man'.
Games and action. xD
He likes wrestling, and actiony movies.
I'm just wondering what it will make him think of me, cause we're early in the relationship, and last time I ate dinner with him I had a chicken salad.
sooooo.
D:
He really wants to make this relationship work, like he wants to make sure we both only want to be with each other, as not to be fickle with each other, because he wants a long lasting relationship.
I can only hope to not be fickle with him, because I tend to be.
><
I really like him though. Know that { you } could set your world on fire If you are strong enough to { leave } your doubts

Oh, well I hope that works out. D:
If he wants it to work, he shouldn't mind if you try vegetarianism.

I can't really go vegetarian whilst living at home, don't have time to cook my own food and my mum would certainly not cook two meals a night. But I'm thinking of going pescitarian.
I not that crazy about meat from land animals, but seafood I'm fine with eating lol. Sometimes I think I'm spiritually a manatee.
Anyways.
Pescitarian = Half vegetarian cause they eat fish. Seafood is the only kind of meat they are allowed to eat.
Don't askk me how to pronounce that, I don't even think its in the dictionary, its a new word. Something from the root word Pisces, idk confused
I guess if you live near the sea you are naturally a pescitarian.

i'd love to go vegetarian. but it's just hard to do for me. gonk
i get lots of guilt-trips though. like i was eating a taco once, and i stared at the ground beef in it. then after a moment, i just kinda realized. OMFG I'M EATING COOKED COW. and i'd just watched 'hannibal' where hannibal cooked the guys brains in the end. and it looked kinda like my taco beef. and that kinda freaked me out. and i put down the taco.

I've always pronounced it [PES-kih-TARE-ee-an].
Seafood was always one of my favorites. :b
& it's generally healthier for you, and for the environment, than land animals.
@Lady Glompage: Ew. D: If it's so hard for you to do it 'cause you like the taste, but it's hard for you to eat it knowing it's an animal, maybe you should try vegetarian alternatives. I still eat tacos. [: Just with fake meat. ;O It's still just as good, without the guilt. I use MorningStar brand Beef Crumbles (which I guess is made of soy beans and stuff, not cow), which I've found in Giant and Target and a couple other places.
