8 Minute Speeches
So at the beginning of the year my battalion does a little something we call "8 Minute Speeches" where we have to talk about ourselves for, shocker, 8 minutes so the freshman and all new incoming cadets get to know a little about each other. Obviously we're not going to be typing for 8 minutes but you get what I mean [well I hope so]. 3nodding So basically this is were you can create a little bio about yourself for the other members to read about you and whatnot.

You can call me by my user or Emjay [a nick from JROTC].
I belong to the TCHS Cougar Battalion and this upcoming year ['08-'09] I will be a 1st Sergeant for a line company, it's something that I've wanted since my freshman year♥
I am the co-captain for the Academics team, right guard for competitive female color guard, team commander for honor guard, member of the unarmed drill team, and this year I'll be joining fax [facsimile] and PT.
I'm an incoming junoir and this will be my third year in JROTC♥
My unit is an Army battalion. We're pretty much awesome, no joke. We've held the title of state champions for 9 years... not to be cocky but we literally are the school to beat at drill meets♥
Right now I'm aiming to go to West Point and become an officer.

[about the lovely My_Deepest_Regret]  Name: MDR, Duh LET level: LE III Rank: Second Lieutenant [Hell yees!] Reason joined JROTC/ROTC: I've always been intrested in the Military, and JROTC is the perfect way for me to define my personality. Besides, everyoen loves Marines. Member of any drill teams: Exhibition Drill, Armed Drill, Unarmed Drill, Colorguard Captian [I'm so In charge] Future plans: Become Colonel for next years position as CO. Give my cadets the best training they'll ever get by a b***h. Favorites/anything really: I love commanding, I love drilling. I love colorguards. =D Best Memory of my LE II Year- We where on our way home from our last drill competiton, and we where playing the dating game that you'd see on Who's Line. And our Cadet Sergeant Major was a pregant woman. His memorial quote was "The Goverment came and took my baby!" And I was being flirted with all night on the bus ride home by a Lance Coporal. How sad. =D

Hi I am Stephen otherwise known as kingace101. I am a Ensign or for people who don't know all branches that's O-1. I joined NJROTC because it is the best program in my eyes. I am joining the navy after I attend the Naval Academy or CSUM. I am part of any team you can think of Exhibition, Armed and Un Armed, Rifle, Academic, Color Guard, and more. I am also the Training Officer soon to be Opps. I love the experience I gain by beig in the program. Next year I will be a NSIII cadet and a senior Officer.

Reason joined JROTC/ROTC: I got hooked on JAG as a kid and carried a passion for the real military ever since

Future plans: First off, I'm going to college. With a bit of luck I can become a psychologist before joining the military.
Favorites/anything really: Well, I love painting glass jars and sketching in my spare time. If I have a lot of time I work on my novel or poems.

Reason joined JROTC/ROTC: Well, I haven't joined yet. sad But when I start up the program at my school, it's because I've always had a life long interest in the military. It started out with reading the book Ghost Soldiers by Hampton Sides, a detailed recollection of the POW life and Mucci's Rangers during WWII at Cabanatuan, which was many years ago and lead to more and more interest. I love reading up on it, and watching the military channel, etc. A few of my family members have been/are currently in the US army. It just for some reason appeals to me more than anything. I plan on attending USMA at West Point for college in a few years, and JROTC would be an excellent asset to a USMA application. Also, I feel that JROTC would be a good way to get experience on military lifestyle, before I promise five years of my life to it. (USMA is a gov't funded college, but in return you must serve for a minimum of 5 years in the US army after)
Oh, and if you couldn't tell by my username, I'd like to become a battalion surgeon in the army, after college.
Member of any drill teams: Sadly, no.
Future plans: Starting up JROTC at my school/surrounding school. I'm excited, it better work out!
Favorites/anything really: Nothing so far. It's been a struggle convincing my strict administration to let me do this... (I live in a very leftwinger town) But hopefully it will pay off!

Member of any drill teams: Drill team, orienteering team, athletic team, and air rifle team....Plus staff (Assistant Admin Officer).
Future plans: Become a bestselling author!!! And a manga-ka (manga creator)
Favorites/anything really: Reading, drawing, watching anime (FMA!!! HELLSING!!!), bugging my dad, and pulling pranks on fellow cadets. xd

Hey!!! It's Private First Class Snuggles in the House!!! lol, jk. Um... I'm Logan C/PFC.McCourry, known by my family (A.K.A My beloved Academics team as Snuggles.)
I'm going to be a LET 2 this coming up year
My rank is as I said... Private First Class but I wish to me a Master Sargent by the end of this year
The first reason why I joined JROTC was because I wanted to join the Marksmenship team which I did and I'm known as the best freshmen there is, words from my team captain (C/PFC Rosebome and C/CPL Hudson)
I'm on the Marksmenship team and the Academics team... but I'm joining the PT team when the year starts.
I wish to become captain of the Marksmenship team Senier year. If not, I'll have to fight my best friend for the rank of Captain for Academics. Also I want to become the Major of our Battalion if not our Battalion Commander but I rather not because we already have someone that stole our SAI's heart for the position for our grade.
I'm C/PFC.McCourry and I'm from the Cougar Battalion.
