This trail leads down the border of Fire Country and River Country. About half-way down the path, there is a fork in the road with one path leading into Fire country and the other leading into River Country.

Etsuko walked silently down the trail, heading deeper into Sound country, the jingling of his bell disappearing into wind. This was one of the most dangerous paths for him to cross alone due to Orochimaru's constant vigilance and the Fire Countries annual border patrols. He wasn't fond of this choice, but it was still the safest move for him to make. Once he made it to the next path, he would be in Mist Territory. Luckily for him, he knew his way through Mist Country well enough to get to his destination without notice.
A small shard of ice flew swiftly toward Etsuko; aimed perfectly for his jugular.
Without strain, a small shard of ice flew upward, deflecting the oncoming projectile with ease. Etsuko came to a stop silently.

"All alone in Sound Territory," a seemingly cute voice came from somewhere around Etsuko's location.
"Dreida," Etsuko said under his breath as a sighed out a chilly breath. He remained motionless.
"You don't know how long I have searched for you, Suko-kun," the voice came again. "Every time I'd get close, you would dissappear and I would have to start from square one. But this time I went about a different approach. I researched everything on the akatsuki organization I could find and found out about the entrance to Akatsuki City."
Etsuko chuckled to himself. "Poor Dreida," he said finally to the figure. "Oh yes, I know its you. I realized that the minute you spoke. Tell me, how's the family...oh wait, that's right. We are all that's left."

"That is about to be rectified," Dreida said. "Soon I will be the only one left?"
Etsuko chuckled again. "Have you contemplated the grief of being the only one left," he posed to Dreida. "Being the sole survivor of a clan. It isn't all that great you know." Etsuko was quickly becoming angry. "I thought I killed off everyone that day. I thought I was all alone; the last of a dying breed? I was left to my misery until redemption came in the form of 'Akatsuki.' That is why I joined Akatsuki, so I wouldn't be alone. There were people who wanted and needed me."
Dreida laughed loudly, her voice echoing on the wind. "My foolish cousin," she spoke softly. "What have you accomplished with this organization? Have you achieved your goal, or does it bait you along yet never reveal a way to accomplish it?" She chuckled again. "As long as you die, my goal will be complete and it will not matter if I survive. In fact, it would be best if I die with you and rid this world of our accursed clan once and for all."
"Oh no, dear cousin," Etsuko began, "I cannot allow you to do that."
"How can you stop me," she said as a large hand of ice flew up from the ground, grabbing Etsuko by the neck and lifting him from the ground. "This will be the end of you."

A man appeared behind Etsuko, who was now lifted in the air "family reunion?"

Snow began falling to the ground in the air, a pile already forming beneath Etsuko's body. As the newcomer spoke, Etsuko's body imploded into nothing than more than a large pile of snow and ice. "How meddlesome," he said from behind the newcomer. "First my cousin, now another nuisance."

A small, nearly invisible, shard of ice flew straight for the newcomer's jugular. It was aimed precisely to kill him in a single blow.

The shard connected with it's intended target but, t'was mearly a clone that vanished a voice spoke "that was unexpected, here i thought i would have a little help" The man darted out of the field of rice directly to the left of the woman who attacked him, slashed at her with a blade, then retreated to the rice field on the other side
((im assuming there are rice fields... sue me))

((well, the woman hasn't shown her location yet, but I suppose I can go along with it))
Dreida laughed as she back-flipped from the boys' swing, the hand of ice dropping lifelessly to the ground. "And who might you be, boy," she asked to the boy now standing in the rice field.
Etsuko stood silently listening to his surroundings.

"That really isnt any of your concern." the voice said, there would be rustling all around them "and Estuko of the mist? listening really wont help you here." 50 Senbon would fly from all around him, aiming for his vital spots

Etsuko smirked underneathe his hat as he raised his arms slightly in the air. He could feel the senbon flying towards them on the wind. With each second the moved closer to their target. With only a few seconds left, he slammed his arms down towards the ground. As he did so, mist erupted from his entire body, surrounding him entirely. As the senbon hit this mist, they instantly froze, leaving all senbon in Etsuko's control. In the instant after they hit the mist and froze, Etsuko used his control over the senbon and caused them to fly back towards the boy who launched them.

Dreid laughed as the boy responded to her and launched his attack. "Etsuko abandoned the Hidden Mist, and no longer deserves the right to be called a mist ninja," she called out. "I will ask again, who are you boy?"

Etsuko raised his arms once more, causing all of the snow on the ground to raise with them. He brought his arms to his side abruptly and the snow launched towards him at great speed. Every square inch of his being was covered with the snow, and it left him looking somewhat like a scrawny snowman. The arms of this snowman raised slightly and clapped together. Slowly, at first, the snowman began to fall apart and quickly all of the snow fell back to the ground, and Etsuko was gone.
"You've made me lose my target, boy," Dreida said as she suddenly appeared next to him. Grabbing him by the collar, Dreida lifted the boy off of the ground with one hand. Ice encased her free hand and it looked like one menacing spear which she then held at point against the boy's neck. "I should kill you and let your body rot out here where no one will find it."
