[The Pactio Thread]
This thread serves two purposes:
1. To explain the system of pactio that is being used in this guild.
2. To keep track of who has a pactio with whom, and the effects of the pactio cards.
Pactios
Long ago, we established our pactio format. It is a delicious compound of the one from Negima! and the one from Negima!?
When the contract is made, four cards are made. However, only one of the cards is 'real' - the rest are all spiritual, and can not be touched. The four cards are:
1. The Provisional contract card. Two copies of these are made, one for the wizard, one for the partner. The two can communicate through them and the wizard can summon their partner with it, whilst the partner can use their artifact.
2. The Cosplay Card.
3. The Armour Card.
4. The Suka Card.
The provisional contract cards are just like those from the Manga. You should all know the ins and outs of those by now.
To those who don't know the Cosplay, Armour, and Suka cards - those are cards used to transform the partner when the contract is activated. The contract lasts until the partner runs out of energy - which means they will either be really hungry, or almost entirely out of charge if they are a robot.
The cosplay card is typically a rather extravagant, if not somewhat impractical outfit. It is usually rather specific, and can be anything from a typical ninja uniform, to full plate, to a cosplay of a specific character. The character receives an item or weapon fitting to the outfit. The cosplay card is usually more magical than the armour card.
The armour card is the 'best' card. It includes a specific outfit unique to the character from their own ideal design, and accommodates their specific best skill or trait. It will usually include a weapon or an item that has a use in combat.
The suka card is the one you don't want. The character transforms into a 1-foot tall chibi version of themselves in an animal suit. Any combat skills and spells they had are lost, but natural abilities (such as a vampire bite, acidic spit, etc) are retained. The suka card can sometimes lead to a temporary loss of limbs depending on the shape of the animal the character adopts.
When the contract is activated, the wizard must roll 1d6. To you non-nerds, that means rolling one six-sided dice. The roll determines the card to be used. This represents the random card they draw out of their partner, and reflects the following transformation.
1 or 2 - Suka card
3 or 4 - Cosplay card
5 or 6 - Armour card
It should be noted that the partner can willingly chose to fudge the dice roll to 1, if they should so wish.
To those of you who have made Pactios, would the partner please write the following in this thread:
-Name of the character and the wizard (with clear indications as to who is what in the contract)
-Description / Picture of their artifact from the provisional contract card
-Description / Picture of the character's Cosplay card outfit and it's powers / artifact
-Description / Picture of the character's Armour card outfit and it's weapon / equipment
-Description / Picture of the character's Suka card outfit

Partner: Regan Hiryuu
Wizard: Hikari Agaki
Artifact: An amorphis ki-infused Orichalcum blade. It can be anything from a butter knife (though she would never use something like that in combat) to a quite effective Buster-sword replica, or something a little bigger. There are runes inscribed in the blade with Zodiac metal, enchanting it to enhance Ki. Her card depicts her with chainmail, though...
Cosplay: Regan appears as in the picture I presented when I posted her in the Character Creation thread. She sports a black, opened jacket and blue jeans, enhanced with dense Ki, making it like armor, along with an Ice Brand as well as a Flametongue for versatility. She also has two fox ears and two fox tails, and her direct Ki Strikes carry an enhancement of Ice/Fire Disarm Weapon, depending on which blade is used to strike. The effect of the strike depends on the roll I make. Chi is used along with Ki. So, mind power and body power. They aren't synced, though. Regan also has a heightened ability to seduce and distract, something just seems so... irresistible about her. Her flirtatious nature making it easy for her in some situations, her own sexual preference not so easy in other situations. If needed, she can use Ki and her fox traits to change her outfit.
Armor: Regan appears (again with two tails and ears), donning adamantite plate mail, sporting several swords. A great sword on her back, along with... an absolutely -huge- one next to it. Looks heavy. On each hip, she wears two more swords, longsword, shortsword, broadsword, bastardsword. All of them are Ki-infused and made of orichalcum. Complete with ki-enhancing runes. Ki is greatly increased and synchronized with Chi. Like... it exerts pressure on you when in her presence.
Suka: Regan appears as a two-tailed fox. Simple as that. Cute. Because of the transformation ability of foxes in Japanese lore, she can use her Ki to change forms. Ki must be used to sustain the form.

Partner: Hades Vollfied
Wizard: Kisa Miako
Artifact: A rose would apear into the hands of Hades when activated. Not any rose, a specialized white budded rose that would be able to extend into a flexbile thorned whip. Not only that, but what ever the whip is able to touch will get a ten second stinging sensation. (Depending how long the whip stays on you.)
Cosplay: Hades is covered in a perfect gentleman's black and red suit. Made of velvet! A cape, a top hat, and two white gloves with a cane. The magical vampire abilities are increased so that when used against someone, there is a 100% that it will work. No fail. Plus the cane can slide out to be a sword. Just a regular steel sword.
Armour: Hades is turned into a 8 foot vampiric demon with two wings and two Satanic horns on his head. The wing span is about 6 feet for both wings of course. No weapon is needed because his defense and strength are increased twenty fold. Not only did he get taller, but he also looks...Bigger! Possibly ripping his clothes apart. The only other ability is that he can engulf both of his hands/fists with white fire.
Suka: A grey bat that doesn't have much power to fly.

Partner: Ryuuka Tomoshibi (Tomoshibi Ryuuka)
Wizard: Raine Tempest (Tempest Raine)
Artifact: Golden long sword of solidified light. Its power depends on the emotional level of the wielder. If he’s calm, it’s normal, if he’s in a rage it appears as a flaming sword of light and its power increases. The fact that it’s a blade of light means that it’s more useful on opponents with evil minds and souls.
Cosplay: Light angelic armor appears on Ryuuka consisting of shining Chain mail and a thin shining breastplate, along with shining greaves, boots, and gauntlets. He gains small wings (not as large as Setsuna’s), wears no helmet, his hair becomes white, and his eyes red. His sword is twice as powerful when in cosplay form.
Armor: Ryuuka’s body is divided in two (not cut mind you) down the middle. His right half is clad in heavy Angelic armor, has pale skin and the above description. His left side is clad in similar armor, except demonic. His hair becomes black, the skin on his left side has a dark purplish tint, and his eye turns black except for the iris, which is yellow. He gains on his right side a large angelic wing (like Setsuna’s), and on his left a wing of equal size, but it has black feathers. The Rune on his stomach advances around his body. If Ryuuka is in serious danger (close to dying) during this the rune forces the demon within him (half demon) to take control of his body. The sword is three times as powerful in this state.
Suka: becomes a small snowy owl with a black spot on his stomach. When he’s in suka form he can barely fly.

Partner: Driviline Hanashow
Wizard: Ichiro Tamura
Artifact: A giant blue fish. It looks sorta like a goldfish, but it is 3 feet bigger then Driviline and has blue scals that are as hard as diamonds. Thus it is very heavy and he has a bit of a hard time swinging it around. He is able to get 3 good swings in before he becomes to tired to move. The angerier Driviline is the harder he can swing this fish around. The effects of getting hit by the fish depend on how one his hit. If he swings it sideways, the one hit will normally be sent flying into wall/tree/object or just sent flying far away. If he swings it over his head the one hit will find themselves being stuck in the dirt ground, if the ground isn't earth then the person will feel a few feet shorter if they are standing up, If they lay face down just as they get hit, they get the best back treatment ever.
Cosplay: A hord of bats will suddenly surround Driviline for awhile. When they fly away he is in a Drakula outfit. He intantly says 'My name is Drakula, and I bid you welcome.' He is normally in a good mood and has a rather high thirst for drinking blood. He is rather good at dodging in this outfit and will normally try to bit a person instead of attacking.
Armor: Driviline gets a red cape with the icon of black back with a gold Halo over its head and a white 20 pointed start behind it. His hair is held in a pony tail with a red bow. He gets a red ninja-like shirt and pants. He can move very fast in this and has his magical powers at max. He can swing the fish from his card a few more times in this state, but if he does, he becomes really tired when he returns to his normal state.
Suka: Driviline become a blue cat. He will be a bit ticked off in becoming this. After having a 'Hissy' fit he will go looking around for a shady spot and curl up for a nap. He will scratch anyone who tries to desterb his nap. He can be easily entertained with a ball of yarn or even a feather. Anything else wouldn't catch his interest at all.
